@@DIYGene We love living out here. The Barndo is finished. I'm not trying to finish up the shop. Getting lights, internet, and some type of storage built.
LOL! Especially if no one knows it’s a box wine. This project has become a big gift item and I have made several now. I have also started making them out of cedar fence boards for next to nothing and the turn out even better. Also you can use some of those frozen cooler packs on the sides of a white wine and serve chilled. Thanks so much for watching.
Fantastic video. The torch; you performed magically for the aged look. Stain was also right on point. Good stuff, and great engineering design as well.
This is really great! Not a difficult home build and some decor everyone might appreciate. I think I'm about to take a deep dive into your videos for more ideas!
Hi Loren, This was a really fun project and was a pretty quick one too. I hope you fine more videos on the channel that will inspire. Thanks for watching.
Hey Gene, That was fantastic! We haven't talked for some time ... threeGranddaughters and a busy life. Hey man, I'm old-fashioned enough to wish you a Merry Christmas.-- maybe I'm the first. I wish you and the family well and we'll talk soon. Cheers and have a sip of wine for me. Eric
Eric, so great to hear from you. I am glad you are doing well. I am having fun and hope you had a great Thanksgiving.. Cheers to you too and hope to talk soon. Gene.
Hi Gene and kitty! I bought some of that Star bond and it is the cats meow ;) no doubt! Thanks on the tip I will check out Kittl. Love the video as always. My new "Put a Clamp On It" sweatshirt is working out well this time of year! Cheers and Merry Christmas!
Hello Bob! So great to hear from you. I hope you used the 15% discount code for the Starbond. Thanks so much for always supporting the channel and for all the encouragement. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas! Gene
Hey Gene, I'm not a wine drinker but I do like to whine... You have a great eye for interesting projects and problem solving so cool how you integrated the French cleat right into the project... Keep up the entertaining projects! Thanks for more ideas!

Ha! I knew it... when I saw you open a second box, the wine had to have gone somewhere, lol, Mr. Michael was super sweet after that bag came out. (I watched the video twice, lol). How about a steampunk litter box? I have a kitty (I had two but had to put my 16 year old to sleep about a month ago), litter boxes are so ugly. Very nice project Gene. Now I feel like enjoying some wine just to have that barrel on the wall, it's such a great idea and it looks really cool. Hugs from Belgium, Daniella.
I’m so sorry about your kitty. But I like the steampunk litter box idea LOL. You should go get another kitty so the one you have doesn’t get lonely. Daniella, Thanks so much for watching.
You make a good point. The basic measurements are: The barrel front is 13.75” The spout hole is 1.5” and is 2” from the bottom. And 30ea. 1.5” x 4” side slats. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
Thanks so much for subscribing. I just made a couple of these using cedar fence boards. They are only about $3.75 each and 2 is more than enough to make one. Plus the cedar smells great and looks great with just a clear coat on it and will hold up outside on the deck.
I love how your projects always look when finished. You have a great idea what to do to end up with a great finish
Thanks so much. This was a fun project. Now if I can just keep shop cat from drinking all the wine. LOL. How is the Barndo coming?

Love this project I’ve always said you can’t beat a good box of wine

Hello Chris, Thanks so much. It was a fun project.
Great Project Gene. I love it.
Hi David, thanks so much for watching.
Excellent! That turned out real nice. But I think shop cat had a wine glass in their paw.!
LOL, I had to buy two because shop cat kept drinking the first one. 🤪
Very cool project my friend!! Love it!
Thanks Rick, it was a fun project.

Neat project but I really expected the bag to be empty by the time the barrel was done and you'd have nothing to put in it! LOL
I actually had 2. Shop cat kept drinking it.
I knew it! 🤣😂
That's genius!
@@curtist1464, Thank you. This was so fun and easy to build. I have made them as gifts. Thanks for watching.
Very enjoyable. Take care that man.....
Thanks so much for watching.
That's really cool!
Thanks so much. Shop cat is really creative when he is sober. LOL. Thanks again for watching.
Very cool! Next up how about a pirate's chest for some rum lol. Well done!
Hey, that’s not a bad idea. But it will be tough keeping the shop cat out of the rum. LOL. Thanks for watching.
Santé !👍
Thanks!
Thank you so much!

Btw your merch store link doesn't seem to be working.
Oh wow, thanks for letting me know.

Awesome project
Thank you much ! But I can’t take all the credit. Shop cat was the creative process. If I can keep him sober, he comes up with lots of great ideas .
Wow - I love it! I may try a variation that would sit on a counter vs the wall. Great project
That’s a great idea. I need to think of a cooling system so you could use white wine.
Beautiful project. So glad shop cat taught you a few things 😂
Thanks Deb, Now if I could only keep him out of the wine. 😄
So cool! Great video & cutest assistant ever! 🐈☺️
Thank you so much. I think that shop cat is becoming more popular than me.
Oh, so cool.. I love the look!
Hello Dan, Thank for watching.
That's so awesome, Gene! You're so creative. Thanks for sharing your talent with us!👍😊
This one was shop cat. When I can sober him up, he’s very creative. LOL. I hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
@DIYGene wow! Your cat's got skills, also! That's fantastic! Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving, too!👍😊
Thanks for another great video!
