    ⚠Correction: Oil filter screws are torx, not hex. Thanks to @goozlo, an attentive viewer, for pointing that out! Apologies for the mistake, and I appreciate your feedback. I'll ensure better accuracy in the future. Your support means a lot!

    Thank you. I have a drag 800RR and this is the first maintenance video. Need more of these as the dealer charges $120 for an oil change. Keep these videos coming!

      Thank you! Always great to see people appreciate it 😊 I am definitely thinking of doing more videos on this bike, but not sure yet about what (I have a couple of ideas). If you feel like you want to see a specific how to video let me know and I will definitely consider it 😁

    Can I ask for Dragster 800rr’s Add Oil Capacity?Thanks
    Sorry for my poor english

    • @zigmoto
      @zigmoto  2 роки тому +1

      Hey! It is around 2.5 liters. However don’t take my word for it as it all depends on how much oil is removed from the bike. So check the oil dipstick to ensure you are in between the two marks of the oil level. Hope this helps 🙂

      @@dimitrislavdas1187 I’ve been using Motul on most of my vehicles for years without any issues. I guess that’s why I don’t know that brand. Also I don’t recall seeing it in any local stores here. Anyway if it works that’s what’s important 😁

    Hey it’s blockhead again. I wanted to ask you if you are experiencing the bar end mirrors coming loose? Mine come loose after every ride and it is not a joke anymore and I was wondering if you have heard about a fix for this problem? It could also be that I’m the only one having issues? Any suggestions are welcome 🤗

    • @zigmoto
      @zigmoto  2 роки тому

      Hey, I had that early on when I got the bike. The mirror wouldn’t stay in position I configured. I actually had to tighten up the screw of the mirror and needed also to add some loctite to the screw.

    • @BlockHead805
      @BlockHead805 Рік тому

      Directly from the dealer. They sell the kit that includes these parts.

    Did not warm engine before draining oil?

    • @zigmoto
      @zigmoto  Рік тому +1

      Good question!
      I actually did not. I normally would for other bikes that have the filter outside. However this bike has the filter inside which means you can’t really escape getting oil on your gloves. If you warm up then you have a high chance of getting burn unless you own some special gloves. So I decided not to warm up the engine for that specific reason.
      Also the debate of hot vs cold engine for oil change has been going on forever and so far there are pros and cons for both and not much difference at the end.
      Hope that helps.

    Pro tip bro wrap some tin foil around your exhaust to prevent any oil spilling on to it then discard when finished.

    The oil filter screws are torxs not hex..... I followed your video and obviously destroyed the head and then it was a pain to get them out....

      Thank you for pointing that out, and I apologize for the mistake in my video. You're absolutely right! I just went to check and the oil filter screws are torx, not hex. I guess I got very lucky as I didn't notice this during this maintenance and filming.
