You can get a humvee for less than $10k. You can't find a hummer for less than $35k. One can be built for less than the other. The other can be bought by a snob. God forbid a hummer guy gets a scratch on his 2006 alpha at the mall.
wich year was the white and the black one? I like to see them using different locking techniques. BTM till 1998 and TT4 till 2004 2004 and newer had eaton locker.

@A59494 hummers are designed so that the tires spin on purpose... its full-time 4x4 system uses BTM, and you only use it when the tires are spinning.... ohhh and fuck jeeps lol
The only thing I have heard that these things stuggle on is in the sand because they are so heavy. Other then that, they are sweet. Id love to have one.

I can tell the white hummer is 98 or older (pre ABS models). He is properly utilizing the Brake Throttle Modulation which locks all wheels. You can tell he is doing this correctly when he is climbing up hill with all tires working and the brake lights are on. This works better than the 99+ year models which have ABS and the TT4 traction control which engages all wheels from recognizing wheel spin at a certain RPM. It then kicks in the locking function at I believe 1750 RPM. This can be hard on axle shafts if a tire is grabbing something hard. These newer models can be upgraded by installing lockers on demand.
They have a special management in the braking system which affords simultaneous engaging both gas and break pedals. Slipping wheels are then blocked and vehicle doesn't hang diagonally.

Just don`t like these Torsen lockers in the H1. Real lockers would help and keep maintain momentum.
