i have the 2016 Platinum...its sick. Great Engine, Quick & Fast...getting pulled over a lot. The cars can move. Handles well, No issues with the car at all. Solid on Gas. I drive a ton. Better than i expected. I want to drive this one for a long time.
Nissans are assembled in different states depending on the vehicle; however, it is a foreign company. I believe it originated in Japan. They aren't built at a single location, but several, if that makes sense... :) I believe you are right on where this car is made, although I didn't bother to look it up. I'll take your word for it. It makes sense that they would be assembled here in America for the US customers, rather than Japan for a number of reasons: 1. The driver's side is opposite from Japan's driver's side. 2. It would cost an arm and a leg to ship it from Japan, and it would take weeks, months, or more to come in... But hey, while your at it, would you build me a Nissan Maxima, since you work there and everything? :) It's always been my dream car !!! :)
Exact color and trim level I’m looking at. Very informative. That’s really neat how the horn honks when you have the desired air pressure! Zooming in on the map. Automatic rain sensing. And the wood trim, as you said... lots of other nice features but those I didn’t know about.
Luxury sedan with impeccable value!!! The top-of-the-line platinum trim is equipped with a multitude of opulent features that are hard to ignore; namely dual panoramic- sunroof and high quality seats , just to name some. Sporty looking compact sedan with stylish accents and an aggressive chassis 👍🏽👍🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I just traded up from the "vomit Altima lugger machine hate that car" to a Platinum Maxima... and I am in LOVE LOVE LOVE I think I love it more than the last Cadillac i owned! I got the fully loaded model with the sunroof/moonroof and drives like a dream and gets better gas milage (I averaged 17mpg on the Altima) ...in this car I get 26mpg LOVE! I think this is my end of the world car...seriously was gonna buy another cadillac to the tune of 50+ grand and this is a much better ride! my only compaint its front wheel drive i would like it to be all wheel drive. then it would be perfect...but for now...wow I will keep this great little car!
Nice detailed walkaround of the car. I recently drove a '17 Maxima SV. Pretty quick and a lot of fun for the $$ but unfortunate that it's FWD and a CVT.
My grandma just got one of these. Started it up and gave lil rev and I was impressed. Sounds really nice. That V6 I guess. But wow, if I were to spend the money personally I'd get a Z but I have to say these maximas are pretty quick
Is this still a good car to buy in 2020? I’m looking to buy the platinum and I saw an 2018 and 2017 and although they look the same to me I’m trying to see if I should take the 2017 for lower price
Joshua Kang 2 minutes ago (edited) Do not buy a Nissan. Only Nissan use fixed code for smart start engine system. It is for an auto theft to buy signal hacking machine that makes copy signal to unlock the door and start engine. So, Nissan cars have been targeted by a car theft. For example, more than 10 Nissan cars were stolen in a day within 1 mile Frankford@Marsh Lane in Dallas, TX, 75287. One of them were stolen in front of Walmart. She just stopped by the Walmart to buy some goods. After she shopped, she found out her Nissan Maxima was stolen. 2016 Nissan Maxima and 2017 Nissan Maxima, 2015 Nissan Juke were stolen in one apartment-Gardens at vail apartment around this place. Especially, 2016, 2017, and 2018 Maxima have been stolen a lot recently.
Having issues the the touch screen, it will spam the settings button or the navigation button over and over again, it won't stop ! Anyone have any idea how to fix it?
You can turn all the way off the screen wait a couple seconds and then turn it on again you have to hold the power button/volume button try that and see if it helps
I think the front and interior are the best part about this car for 35k you could buy something more worth wild. Maximas just doesn't have that value in my opinion. And for me I hate those lines on the sides
morenojader platinum?! No way.. I'd know I'm on the hunt for a used platinum and best I've seen is 30k. If you meant a lesser trim then yes, definitely.
Well I got the 2016 version my first car. I live in Minnesota so winter is a bit rough, but it just comes down to your driving. It's a really fun car to drive! I've had the car for around half a year now and so far so good.
Tayshawn Price ive had my 3.5 2007 chrysler 300 with minimal problems like radiator, alternator, compressor fixes. The engine has been going strong since day 1. Almost 250xxx miles. They are really beautiful cars.
Say Cheese D im so shocked that the outside is so nice and futuristic and then the inside has plastic wood in it....like did they have two separate design teams?!

Brendan Hickey is it reliable?
How reliable has it been?
I remember this video I still got my Max...2017 Platinum...119,000 miles,still rollin
You wanna sell it??
No transmission issues?
Another excellent review! keep up the great videos.
This is not assembled in Japan they are assembled in Smyrna Tennessee. I would know because I work there lol
Dylan Lyle Haha, he says that right after he looks at the window sticker which states "Final Assembly Point: Smyrna" in big bold text.
Georgie damn lol

Ahmed ojaimi no... I hope not.. that will be too many gizmos to fail..no thanks to electeonic parking brake

Now this is a car review . A lot of people here on UA-cam trying to review a car don’t know how to they just drive and talk about the car lol.

You know, I'm almost inclined to get one of these!
Good review & perfect Nissan.

@@gennarovittoriojr7383 Exaclty why I passed on the Altima. Love my Max too.
@@supertrooper73 Altima are having bad tranny problems when the started with the 6
Yikes
I love the Maxima ...
Great Car! Loving It!
Tip: When you say, "it doesn't feel/look cheap," that makes people feel as if it should be cheap. Not a good way to convey the feeling of luxury.
you are right however nissan maximas have always had a cheap feeling interior in my opinion
Abdulrahman Idris ..says the guy that's never driven in one.
Abdulrahman Idris lmao I know he probably drives a Camry or some type of Toyota 😂
@Fkyourfeelings obviously it wasnt bc obviously toyota makes better cars. Something you shouldnt have to question
Nice detailed walkaround of the car. I recently drove a '17 Maxima SV. Pretty quick and a lot of fun for the $$ but unfortunate that it's FWD and a CVT.
Drove a '17 Maxima Platinum yesterday - I would have drove it home but the lack of AWD was a deal breaker because of Michigan winters
This car is super luxury Sedan
well these new 18 year old kid will have no problem with dmv parallel parking
2pacnasgame lol
My grandma just got one of these. Started it up and gave lil rev and I was impressed. Sounds really nice. That V6 I guess. But wow, if I were to spend the money personally I'd get a Z but I have to say these maximas are pretty quick
-Slurmdaddy - these are a luxurious z. Id take this over one lol.
I love the old Maxima 2007-2015, they have the Maxima look. This one they can keep.
Can you do a review on 2012-14 Acura TL SHAWD. Niello Acura has some
Cameron, can you please review the 2003 Land Rover Discovery S?
Is this still a good car to buy in 2020? I’m looking to buy the platinum and I saw an 2018 and 2017 and although they look the same to me I’m trying to see if I should take the 2017 for lower price
This car is so aggressive looking and exerts a masculine stance
I’m torn between this and optima sxl turbo
they need to do a nismo version
searched for runescape platinum tokens... guess you can buy this one with them
How many miles can I expect to get from this car?
Nice but weird proportions!!! interior is stellar tho.

Nice car
If you can’t afford a i8 here you go 🤝
Impressive car! I just got one love it!
Hey how is your car doing?? I read very bad reviews from another channel
Having issues the the touch screen, it will spam the settings button or the navigation button over and over again, it won't stop ! Anyone have any idea how to fix it?
You can turn all the way off the screen wait a couple seconds and then turn it on again you have to hold the power button/volume button try that and see if it helps
do the Nissan Armada when it comes out
I will !
+Camerons Car Reviews great
Do all of the platinums have remote start?
Every maxima has remote start
Does the whole door moves when you open the window?
What?
Doesn't come with white interior package?
It does I just bought one and it's so nice!
I think the front and interior are the best part about this car for 35k you could buy something more worth wild. Maximas just doesn't have that value in my opinion. And for me I hate those lines on the sides
You can now get a pre- owned with around 20K miles for less than $20k.
morenojader platinum?! No way.. I'd know I'm on the hunt for a used platinum and best I've seen is 30k. If you meant a lesser trim then yes, definitely.
Word where
Not a platinum!! Maybe a base model!!
Yeah, with a Salvage title
the interior is a let down the exterior looks so nice
I'd get a 2009-2015 Maxima for a used car
DOES IT HAVE FOLDING MIRRORS?
No it doesn’t have power folding mirrors
you show what it can do but you dont show how to do it....you have your camer pointed at the screen to only show the action...
I want this as my first car.
You definitely do not want this as a FIRST car
MrJrod899 Why not lml
I should get something that can take a bit of beating as my first car?
trust me you'll just end up crashing this Bitch in the first year
if it is your first car you will just be Reckless and careless with it.
Well I got the 2016 version my first car. I live in Minnesota so winter is a bit rough, but it just comes down to your driving. It's a really fun car to drive! I've had the car for around half a year now and so far so good.
First
It just needs paddle shifters for the interior
Then get an SR. I have the SV - don't care for paddle shifters as it has a CVT
MAXIMA
is it CVT Transmission?
Huevo Duro702 yes
What's does that mean
L Leyva Continuously Variable Transmission
any differnces to the 2016
Yes, has the addition of Apple Car Play/Android Auto
can you add that to the 16 model?
it only comes with apple car play. android auto isn't on there just yet.
950 Dorchester Ave.
you might want to look at doug demuro reviews....he is a lil more detailed with his review....he review as if you never drove a maxima before
That's the guy that usually reviews butt plugs, right?
Glorified Altima.
How can it be a glorified altima when maxima has been in the US since the 70's?
en cuanto andará este bebé?
this car hauls
very well built car
at 45K+ it better be nice
lol
you find them for 35k easy
you're not going to be getting half the features and materials for that price. smh.
+justin bouche cars are so high nowadays
ashley hawkins ikr, though this is quite a bit higher than most of its competitors by over 5K
looks like a mustang headlight imo but its def a nice car
Just got exctaly the same last night!!! Fooking crazy car! Would choose over german cars becaus it feels luxery and beats them at leats 30k
Sandijs Visnakovs I would say it beats them. The closest brand to german cars would have to cadillac
42k dollars to not have all power windows. just driver side window :v
The driver and passenger have automatic but the back has power windows if u had nice car u would of known
What
Why would you recommend a crappy 300 or even a charger. Those cars hold no value and chrysler and dodge are not reliable at all.
Tayshawn Price ive had my 3.5 2007 chrysler 300 with minimal problems like radiator, alternator, compressor fixes. The engine has been going strong since day 1. Almost 250xxx miles. They are really beautiful cars.
CVT....sorry Nissan, no go. Standard would be ieal
2016 **
This is a 2017 model here in North America
You state in your review that the cars final assembly point is Japan - That is incorrect final assembly is Smyrna Tennessee - USA
+Randy Stark Sorry about that Randy, i totally thought it was Japan because the city name sounded japanese hahah
doesn't look any different from last year's model.
youre dead wrong amature, no chrysler 300 has no v8 engine, they are all v6, wow your smart
MAJINBUU23 no, it has an optional 363 hp V8. The SRT models had a 470 hp V8, so do your own research
Too expensive Infinti has better options
David Stanley really? I always thought Infiniti was a little more expensive...
Jonathan Maldonado
Value wise Nissan is more expensive
but infiniti is so much better
infiniti is so much better
Say Cheese D Infiniti cars are fancy Nissans.
Congratulations Nissan, you made a MAXIMA uglier than the 2004-6
Probably the ugliest "sport sedan" out there. Barf! Who buys these things? Terrible looking granny grocery getter...smh
Ruben Fabela who says barf lmao what are you 12 lol.
Ruben Fabela in that case at least we all know you are younger than 12 and has ugly ass taste
the interior is a let down the exterior looks so nice
Say Cheese D im so shocked that the outside is so nice and futuristic and then the inside has plastic wood in it....like did they have two separate design teams?!
it's Nissan not Ford
