What the defense between the SR and platinum
This car is amazing my wife and I drove it we bought it and we drove to Colorado cruising at a hundred twenty miles an hour with a radar detector the car didn't have a problem in and out of the hills, I had more accelerated to go,the car handles perfect, the stops on a dime, the performance it's top-notch I got the dark blue with the with the white stitched interior, it comes fully loaded in the Platinum version, anyone wanting a true nice hard running sports car, you have to take it for a test drive, the car speaks for itself.
NOYFB agreed my 2008 maxima has 193000 miles, not one problem with the cvt! I jus change the fluid and and it just keeps going. The best car I have ever owned!
I've owned a nissan altima with CVT for 5 plus years no issues
They usually start having problems around the ten year mark. That is what happened to me and everyone I know.
@Ameer K People just wanna bitch about the CVT and I bet most of them never even owned a Nissan.
I have a 6th generation Maxima and well yes my CVT did have problems shifting after driving it for longer periods mostly from red light to red light but the problem is just the solenoid for 25$ if you install it yourself. Maximas are great sport sedans.
I have one and it is so exciting to drive. The reviews are right on the mark. Nissan Maxima just kept getting better, this is my 3 Maxima.
It's okay that your video was long because it was very informative. You gave a better showcase and explaination than most car dealers because they one know just enough to sell it.
I bought a 2017 Maxima Platinum last year (same color - white). That was the best car purchase I ever made. I really enjoy every aspect of the car.

I just bought this car...from the minute I sat in it I was in love; the seats hug you and it's like driving a computer! I barely have to step on the Gas...unlike the Altima which had me screaming at the top of my lungs ....the hunk of junk Altima! Love my platinum ....I have yet to even see another one on the road. So proud of this car
I completely understand his excitement. I'm not big on Nissan and I know this is a 2017 when I saw the 2018 maxima platinum at a car show I was in awe. im sure they're basically the same. Platinum it is in deed. The seats leather stitching is absolutely beautiful in person. The comfort is a solid 10. Everything just looks better in person. Go check one out.

I wish the platinum would come with 19inch rims.. they come with the same rims as a base model... and led foglights!! Other than that, I love it

I own a black one of these and I wouldn't trade it for the world. There is so much I don't know about all the things it is capable of doing.. 🙃 I haven't played with it enough which is my bad. This car is amazing. I always get people and dealers wanting to buy it from me, no no no. I bought it brand new and have less than 40k miles on it. Needless to say I not begun to get tired of it. Highly recommend this car.. Get ya one..

Nissan Maximas are awesome cars.
I'm confused by your comment. Have a 16 maxima and I stream music on my iPhone through Bluetooth everyday. No need to plug in the device to listen to music. And you can get text notifications via Bluetooth. Go to settings>Bluetooth and click on the information icon next to the maxima Bluetooth and toggle on "show notifications"
I will try the toggle option. When i got the car they all told me I couldnt stream, though I just tried to stream from bluetooth and it does work. I think its the google play that does not work with streaming but you would have to plug in the phone.
Android and IOS work flawlessly for streaming music..
It's a setting that's on your phone that you have to switch on the Android Play for it to be able to stream.
Just got a Maxima yesterday and let me tell ya ppl sleeping on the Maxima. Solid car. Drives great, good on gas and it’s Fast
I bought my 2017 Maxima Platinum off of the showroom floor yesterday. Gun Metal Metallic with the awesome black leather interior, I love it, it’s quick and looks amazing. Now I have to memorize all of the awesome features lol. I made the dealership install me a spoiler on the trunk because they don’t come with one and they really should because the trunk and backend of the car looks naked. Just my opinion.
We have our third Nissan Maxima and it's absolutely beautiful so after your view we will be buying a 2017 because we just feel we save a lot of money buying a little bit old and keeping it going for a lot longer.

I have a 2017 platinum Maxima and you skipped one MAJOR feature on the steering wheel!!! There is a range button for the cruise control on the steering wheel that dictates distance for the cruise control on 3 levels!!!

I liked the video, and in spite of owning a 2016 Maxima Platinum for a while now, I picked up a couple of new things. However I have no trouble streaming music from my iPhone via Bluetooth. It's set to connect automatically so I assume you just didn't have the settings quite right.
What a beauty!! I had a 2010 and loved it. Regret getting rid of it. Definitely my next car!!

BE CAREFUL IF THIS HAS A CVT TRANSMISSION. It is over $4000 to fix it, and they are known to have problems soon after the warranty expires. Look it up! The info is out there. This is not an isolated problem.

I have the same platinum and color too with a black spoiler....it looks awesome, I have received many compliments on it. It's not the big one but the sleek spoiler...maybe you should think about getting one, you will love it. Enjoy!!!
Love the Maxima. Iv had an ‘87 ‘92 ‘02 ‘11 and just bought a ‘16 platinum. Love my new one, it pretty much identical to this one he did the vid on. Only complaint is the safety feature on the cruise. I don’t wana slow down just cause the guy ahead drives slow. I’ll have it set on say 75 and all of a sudden im doin 69-70. 🤬

Absolutely loved this car - unfortunately the lack of AWD was a deal killer for me living in Michigan. You'd think a car marketed as a 'luxury/sport' sedan would at least have that option...
Hi, cinematography is good audio at the start was a bit airy. Just need a lapel Mike. Write a script, the next time. Oh and you spent enough circling the baby, I love the Maxima and I was wanting to get inside sooner. OK all the best Shaun of NYC

Just so everyone knows It's Xenon "Zee-non" Zeeon. And those are LED daytime running lights and LED projector headlights not Xenon
a shame the '16 didnt come with android auto or apple car play..only disappointment with this car for me and felt misled..i disliked the wood too, but it grew on me and dont notice it much anymore..not much changes for '17..I actually have factory chrome which is rare..

I'm looking at used versions of the 2016 platinum but I can't take myself to get a sedan. I prefer hatches over sedans but the this would probably be one of the few sedans and only nissan I'd buy
You can stream your music fine with an iPhone. I'm not sure what you are doing wrong...

I drive mitsubishi. but i like the nissan maxima when i see it. this is the best of nissan cars i think. hope it have not eletronic problm. i first car was a nissan n16. i got a lot of electronic problem suspension, gear box, shock absorber and others. then i buy a mitsubishi it was good less problem wiz the car. when 1 see the maxima i want to buy it

Julio Salcedo They have really good deals on them now. You can get a 2017 platinum for around $25k - $28k in my area south Florida brand new. Hell I've seen nicely optioned Maxima SL for around $23k. That is a LOT of car for the money!
Thank you, however, I check online and the dealer the SL starting at 37,090. I will buy if were not too expensive, I live in North Carolina.
Those deals came and went, they were heavily discounted and rebates back in January in South FL for new Maxima's.

kevinszhere1 I just paid 30k for my platinum because I made the dealerships battle for my business called multiple dealership and said well this dealer ship got the same car for 39k what can you was able to make dealership battle for my business and drive off the the lot in a 40k car but I only paid 30k in some change.

I like this new maxima it's awsome, I have nissan primera p11 and I realy love the car so I would like to se new primera model base on p11 and similar to maxima 2017 if you know what I am saying :)

It's not a cheap car, actually very expensive, and i drive it with joy.

well. this 41-42k car leases for 480+ some places easily 520. Infinity (basically same car) is more expensive. Do us all a favor and post a video with you and your car, this way we can compare the quality difference between what you drive, and the 2017 maxima which interior and drive reflect a 50k+ car. Let me know.

Its a far better looking car than an Infinity. Its a better deal from all aspects than an Infinity. Its true value for money I would say. It has the looks, features and power.
