I always kept in touch with the adoption agency to update them with my information in case my son ever found out he was adopted. We were finally reunited this July, and it’s the most wonderful feeling in the world! Now I have my son back, a new daughter-in-law and 3 beautiful granddaughters. The twist is that my son had no idea he had been adopted until the adoption agency contacted him notifying him that I was searching for him. I’m so blessed.

So NOW a biological parent can seek a child though the agency or do they have to wait till they are an adult? This is why the adoptive parents should tell them at some point that they were adopted.
This is my wish one day, I am in a similar situation my mom give one of my sister away when she was 7 years old because of poverty 😢 💔 she is the first born and should be around 70 years old. All I know is her name I don't know if her adopted parent change her name 🤦♀️😭 we live in a Caribbean country and she took her to England so it's like looking for a needle in a haystack. I wish I can find her but I don't know how to start 😕 😞 😔 😪
Do a DNA test and see if anyone in the family apoears as a match. Get into facebook groups of people looking for people (in the UK) and in your country. They may be looking for you!

I made that mistake myself brother, I wasn't ready when I turned 18 (that's when you can go to the authorities to get your biological parents contact info here in Norway), and after I'd served a year in the military doing my compulsory service when I was 19, my mother committed suicide so I never got to see her. My bio father passed away in the mid 90s, so I was too young to really take it to heart then (I was born in 88). I'm in contact with my biological siblings (2 older sisters) and the rest of the family back home in Namibia, so that's REALLY nice though. From one brotha to another, don't make the same mistake I did. Seek her out! 👍🏿👍🏿✊🏿✊🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

I have a friend who just met his biological mom after 26 years of his life. He found her! He lives in California. She lives in the Midwest I believe. She gave him up for adoption when she was just 15 I believe and had gotten raped by a stranger. The pregnancy was hid from her family, as she was harbored by her aunt for over 9 months when she was a teenager. She never had any other children, but did get married. She is 44 now. Now, he is about to have his first baby and she will be a grandma! She is completely in his life and even planned his gender reveal party. There story is absolutely amazing!

Once the mom came on with her message I just broke down in tears. There are some people who put children up for adoption and they would much rather not see them or meet them. It's so heartwarming to know that both of them were looking for each other. I am in tears as I write this only because I wish that I could adopt a child. But I'm probably not in the position to at the moment. I'm happy that I had a loving family who raised me and it's just so loving to see the power of knowing your biological parents and family

I've been watching Tamron Hall Show from the beginning, however, this is the first time I cried watching her show. I loved that Iverson was able to find his birth family and they accepted him with open arms and open heart!

It's amazing how cohesive his biological family is with him after just being reunited, even after he's been apart from his biological family for so long. They're all so much alike and such beautiful people inside and out. It's also wonderful that he had such lovely adoptive parents as well, to help lay his foundation. He's quite blessed in every way. My bio-daughter found me by hiring a investigator in 1991. My story is very similar to this story. She and her older brother were adopted out at birth in private adoptions. My brother in law had a child at 16 but was never allowed to be in his life due to racism, he had 4 other children with my sister and after 17 years his son finally knows who his father is and has met his family! I am so happy to hear this story!
Wow this story touch my heart. Being adopted and not knowing where your family could be. I looked for my biological parents for a long time. Now at 44 I’m still wonder if I would ever find them. I hope one I will find them or someone close to them. It’s not easy when you feel so alone.
Keep trying. Just be prepared for anything. I found my birth mother at almost 30 years old. Long story short but she had no idea what happened to me. My adoptive family moved over 3000 miles away from our home state, and my name was changed. I now have a relationship with her, my brothers,sisters, nieces and nephews. If it's meant to be it will be.
Thanks...Tamron for this longer update I saw the snippet on tiktok, and I was in tears when his tears was flowing...because of the warm welcome he received at the airport...my heart was filled with love for both of Iverson's family.
My siblings and I found our other brother and sister almost 16 yrs ago and it still feels surreal... I grew up always knowing about them and it always felt like something was missing. They're fully incorporated into our lives now and I literally thank God *EVERYDAY* for the opportunity. I completely understand what they're feeling and going through....
The mother is a beautiful person and loved her son enough to give him the opportunity to have a better life...and the adopted parents did a great job as well.

I never seen someone so happy in a reunion . Obviously his adoptive mother and dad showered him with lots of love. May God continues to bless them with long life. His adoptive parents defied all odds and looked after him very, very well

Beautiful story. His bio mum has closure and now has her family complete. The parents who raised him, how awesome are they to adopt him. Both Mums/parents did a wonderful job in raising their children.

It's amazing how cohesive his biological family is with him after just being reunited, even after he's been apart from his biological family for so long. They're all so much alike and such beautiful people inside and out. It's also wonderful that he had such lovely adoptive parents as well, to help lay his foundation. He's quite blessed in every way. So happy for him.

My bio-daughter found me by hiring a investigator in 1991. My story is very similar to this story. She and her older brother were adopted out at birth in private adoptions. I know how he feels. I found out I was adopted when I was 43...found my birth Mom - two sisters and a brother...It was wonderful....but my adoptive parents where wonderful people and I love them so much...I was truly blessed.

The adoptive parents were angels they seem to have brought up a son who is joyful and empathetic. Biology doesn’t make a parent.

My brother in law had a child at 16 but was never allowed to be in his life due to racism, he had 4 other children with my sister and after 17 years his son finally knows who his father is and has met his family! I am so happy to hear this story!
Wow this story touch my heart. Being adopted and not knowing where your family could be. I looked for my biological parents for a long time. Now at 44 I’m still wonder if I would ever find them. I hope one I will find them or someone close to them. It’s not easy when you feel so alone.

Keep trying. Just be prepared for anything. I found my birth mother at almost 30 years old. Long story short but she had no idea what happened to me. My adoptive family moved over 3000 miles away from our home state, and my name was changed. I now have a relationship with her, my brothers,sisters, nieces and nephews. If it's meant to be it will be.

I saw the snippet on tiktok, and I was in tears when his tears was flowing...because of the warm welcome he received at the airport...my heart was filled with love for both of Iverson's family.
My siblings and I found our other brother and sister almost 16 yrs ago and it still feels surreal... I grew up always knowing about them and it always felt like something was missing. They're fully incorporated into our lives now and I literally thank God *EVERYDAY* for the opportunity. I completely understand what they're feeling and going through....
The mother is a beautiful person and loved her son enough to give him the opportunity to have a better life...and the adopted parents did a great job as well.
I have to be better prepared for these shows! I had to pull out the toilet paper, crying ugly face, snot blowing moments. Love, love, love this story. Ordering tissues for delivery tomorrow, my nose is sore. Bless you all ❤
