    At just before the 5 minute mark, my husband and I walk by!! We were right behind Breedlove on the ride, we talked to him before the ride, and he wished us a good day while in Tatooine Traders! It seems so silly but I am so happy I made it into an AllEars video even if only briefly.

    I absolutely love all of Breedlove’s videos! I would love a video series where he goes through all the parks and talks about every nostalgic thing that is gone that he misses 😀

    Breedlove’s videos are the best! I love how he isn’t killing himself running all over the park. It would be fun to see him hanging out with others too, like how the girls do perfect days. Let Breedlove have some companionship too. The videos of Breedlove and Sage are great.

    I saw you at animal kingdom when it was POURING rain on wednesday!!! I was waiting outside flight of passage for my rider swap buddies to return like a drenched rat 😂😂 I full fan girled but I couldn’t yell over the rain and was scared to interrupt your filming anyway. But it was my first trip and I was SO excited because I’ve been watching this channel a ton to prep!! 🖤

    Almost half way thru and you’ve changed my whole thinking on rope dropping. I did do Disneyland like this but that was years ago when they still had fast passes. We did all of fantasyland really fast and a couple big rides too. I love your tips and you’re very enjoyable to watch. Thank you.

    Love Breedlove :) I gasped when he rope dropped Star Tours, but look at all he accomplished having a low-key rope drop strategy, though I think it's still best to choose something you'd want to do twice that would typically have a longer line later than Star Tours, like Falcon or Toy Story Mania. I like the Sunset strategy, too, because those are 2 hot ticket rides & the kids love them. Only thing: when Rock'n opened & it was a walk-on, he could have gone standby & used the experience redemption to ride Tower twice in the Lightning Lane!!

    If you are the first one on the ride after it opens, I would have gone through the stand by line and then had a fast pass to ride it again or another ride a second time.

    I watched so many videos and this one is most like how I want my day to go. You did a ton and it wasn’t just rides. You looked like you enjoyed yourself and had time for a sit down break. I will try this for sure. If it doesn’t work I have an extra park day for any park and I’ll have a redo. Thanks for this!

    I’ve never tried stacking LLs. I think it’s a great idea. Modifying SDD is a risk though. I know it’s better at night but you might want to be safe and ride it at the first time you get rather than modify it to later when it’s likely to close for weather.
    Stacking rides that are not prone to weather closures and riding the ones that are as early as you can seems like the best compromise.
    Thanks Breedlove. Great video

    Thanks so much for showing us a different rope drop strategy! I can’t wait to try this when we are there next month! You rock Breedlove! Don’t forget to hang up your poncho!

  • @TravelHackerTM

    Another tip is that since the 2 hour rule doesn't kick off until the park opens, if you can snag a popular one right at park opening, do your rope drop strategy, then use the LL as soon as possible. That way you have one fewer "2 hour cool down." If you're OK riding Slinky in the AM, try to get that one super early. I like stacking them like Breedlove did, but if it's a pool/relax day or we're occupied somewhere else. Highly recommend jumping in Slinky queue at end of the night. Last time we were there, it was a posted 60 or 70 @ 8 (park close @ 9) & we waited 20. We then literally walked on Rise.

  • @edwardrhoads7283

    This is an interesting strategy if you get a late Slinky lightning. If I got an early Slinky I would try to rope drop it before using the lighting lane (rope drop two-fer). Otherwise hitting those mids early and relying on genie for the bigs (especially if there are one or two my kids don't want to do) is an interesting alternative.

    I’m definitely doing this next time I do Hollywood Studios. I’m N. California so when I go out there EPCOT is my favorite, then Animal Kingdom then Studios (couldn’t get on Slinky, Alien or Mickey’s Runaway yet cuz too new). I think I’ll do EPCOT and Studios my next trip. I only did Universal last trip and stayed at the adorable Cabana Bay and it’s lazy river but I will Lyft over to Disney if I haven’t bought Saratoga yet. I love Universals Mardi Gras parade (the same floats as in New Orleans without being scared for your life).

    The thing that stands out to me is this is all predicated on getting the Individual Lightening Lane for Rise.
    How effective would this be if you Rope dropped Rise and then did all the other small rides while stacking LLs?

    Wow, you got a lot done and even did some relaxing. I try to get to shows latish because I'm height challenged and need to sit on the end of the row on the outside since I can't see over most people's head (PSA - please take the ears off during shows, they obstruct other's views). Since they usually make people move to the right to fill up the rows, it does me no good to get there early. I don't buy Genie + or ILLs but I always park hop. If you are there for 5 or 6 park days, you can easily do just about every ride and show and not have to buy Genie just by hopping around.

    I’m still thinking about how fry bucket lost to Dr.allfears…..SO I think you guys should do that challenge again to complete every ride In Disney, but have two people doing it simultaneously each with 2 parks to complete…so like fry does magic and Epcot and someone else does Hollywood and DAK??? That way it’s actually possible and they both have to complete all their rides in their parks to defeat him!

    • @aleccruz3772

      I think it largely depends on what kind of day you want to have. If youre really trying to go hard in the paint and maximize every experience within genie+, rope dropping those smaller rides probably isnt the play. This video, it looks like he is enjoying a slower day and just trying to have his version of a best day, which is subjective.

    • @sam_lynch
      @sam_lynch 7 місяців тому +1

      This is the better strategy if you get genie plus. You’ll have an easier morning and then stacking the other rides. If you don’t have that ability to get genie plus then definitely rope drop the more popular rides

      Justin, at All Ears, we’re an ensemble of experts with our own individual opinions and ideas. The goal is to show you different ways to do the same things so you can form your own opinions about what looks like the most fun or the best strategy for you.
      We also show you when things go wrong and are honest about making mistakes, because it helps you learn from our misfortunes.
      After watching both videos, which strategy seems like the one you would want to try?

    • @JustinSIsTank
      @JustinSIsTank 7 місяців тому

      @@Breedlove-sv9dv First, I legitimately appreciate your response.
      I would never, in a million years, rope drop Star Tours. And I love Star Tours.
      Here's the thing. This channel/website and its staff portray themselves (accurately) as Disney Parks, especially Disney World, experts. For all the wacky games and challenges, the underlying concept is to give Disney World visitors key knowledge and advice to ensure that they make the most of a Disney vacation, a vacation on which they are likely spending THOUSANDS of dollars. When one hears Advice A from Sage and Fry, and fully-contradictory Advice B from you two days later in videos, it can create a very confusing situation.
      Now, I've been to Disney World enough times to know better AND know how to evaluate the divergent advice. But thousands of people watch your videos, and they aren't all going to be experts. They are looking to all of you to help them have the best trip possible. There needs to be some editorial control within these videos for the sake of your audience.
      I would also encourage you to be aware of your advice given your situation as a local Disney Internet Community member/worker. You have a very cool job that enables you to be in Disney World multiple times a week AND you still are able to love the parks--that's truly admirable. But that makes it easy to say, "I'll just rope drop Star Tours" when your numerous park visits enable you to more-or-less set your own in-park itinerary. I've seen similar sentiments on the All Ears IG about how it's so easy for one of them to just sit down and smell the roses, so to speak. Yes, that is easy for someone to do when they are in the parks so frequently. But the average guest may not have such a luxury, depending on the type of vacation they want to have.
