  • Most Of Western Alberta is Consumed in raging Wildfires. With dry weather and heat the wildfires grow out of control. A new Fire Starts just 30km away from my destination, i am unaware of this new fire.

    Dang, I've been trying out at that lake hard then last month or so with literally zero luck Except for 1 sucker. Looked for perch and couldn't find them either

      The perch move around quite a bit in that lake. If they arnt at the point they can be anywhere

    Reminds me of Red Lake, Ontario 2 years back... The fire started in Madsen, West of town & made its way East 2.4KM from town before the winds stopped & the rain came.
    Stay safe brother - Tight lines!

    Does the drift sock help keep you more straight when using spot lock or what is it's purpose for you?

    • @fishinggeeks
      @fishinggeeks  Рік тому +1

      It’s for slowing my drift down when drifting with the wind

    That same fire smoke had reached us here in Colorado and I was fishing for lakers in it.

      Yeah iv heard the smoke is traveling across Canada also

  • @FishingNorthernOntarioCanada

    the music and edits were fantastic. it looked apocalyptic during some scenes , Angling UA-camrs need to do more then just catch a few fish these days to stand out , This video did that in my opinion, thanks for the entertainment.

    the bob ross of fishing videos and the best part is there are TWO of them! i cry for canada and global warming. alberta govt is very right wing, for canada anyhow, and mostly they produce oil and oil related products. They slashed funding for fire suppression of course. this smoke is affecting the usa as well. it wont get better for a long time. love you guys, enjoy it while you can

    Gotta practice perch fishing on every lake you fish going forward to keep your skills sharp. Never know when you'll need to catch a 12" perch for some reason.
