Hi Friends, I hope you enjoy the video. This is such a fun stitch that works up quickly! Some of you asked about blankets that are easy to work on during the summer that aren't too heavy and this is the one! So lightweight and relaxing. If you'd like to learn how to do a c2c mesh stitch, please let me know and I'll start working on a pattern. xx
Hey!, love this blanket! Mesh stitch is fun n easy… I have several yarns I could do this in. I have Christmas gifts I need to make!!, n a couple of these would do the trick.. Great, thorough video!! Thanks.. Blessings 🌺💗
AMAZING stitch! Love all your videos from crocheting with beads (so fun) to easy tips/tricks. C2C is my absolute challenge stitch for some reason just doesn’t click, will keep trying.
Thank You👍 The chevron stitch is worth a try! Also, I loved your video on the finger crochet blanket so much that I made one myself!! I started crocheting my own pillow, called the comfort cozy. It helps with anxiety and fidgeting. I would love to make one for you if you like. Have a great day!☺
Hello Roz . I hope your day is going well . I've worked the chevron stitch before with variegated yarn , but yes I agree the selfstripping would be great for any project . Another great tutorial . Have a wonderful day and stay cool with the boys . It's a scorcher in Canada 🇨🇦.
Looks fabulous, thank you so much. I love the way you explain. Can you please make a video about different projects we can do with granny squares ? Have a wonderful day ❤❤❤
This is a fun, quick pattern. And a great way to use up some of your leftovers. I wonder if this pattern might (??) make a nice airy dishrag. I'll play around with it. I made a cotton airy one that seems to be my go-to. I would like to see a c2c mesh stitch, Roz. Another wonderful video.💖
I know this is off topic but I am still hoping you will be able to help me. I am making a beach bag and have been trying to find a strong seam stitch to connect the two sides. I really like the look of the slip stitch but I am concerned it isn't strong enough to hold the sides together when the bag is full. Is there a joining stitch or seam that you would recommend for a beach bag? Please and thank you.
If you mean crochet stitches , then a slip stitch is your best bet as well as a single crochet. Or Do you mean for the lining? The “back stitch” would work well. It’s closer to the effect you’d get with a sewing machine . It keeps your stitches very close together. I would also recommend using a thicker thread like “upholstery thread” . It’s really hard to break without scissors. It’s usually in the same section with other threads so it’s not hard to find . 👍🏻💕 Here’s a video about linings just in case you’re curious: ua-cam.com/video/YSHg1lbmLW0/v-deo.htmlsi=gX0r417Bqo4bL1w9
@@PlayHookywithMe Thank you for your quick reply! I did mean crochet stitches and I will try both the slip and the single to see which one I like the best! You are top notch helpful!
It was just a personal preference. I thought it would look too “gappy” with 3 chains since I’m just trying to level it out. But If you decide to do it, try 3 chains and see if you like it better. 💕

This one stitch I need to do
I really enjoyed it, I think you will too 💕
I noticed that you only work 1 chain in the peak on the levelling row instead of 3. What is the reason?

@@PlayHookywithMe thank you. No yours looks good. I just thought there might have been some special reason.
