Letter 'p' has helped me recognize stitches that seem to disappear on me! I resisted stitch markers for a long time, but now they are as important as the hook and yarn!! Thanks for all the tips.
Thanks for those tips, I get frustrated when its not clear if the teacher means to start the next round by going into the next stitch when, in fact, they mean go into the same stitch as you just slip stitched into from the last round, hope that makes sense! My stitch count often gets thrown out because of this
I have always depended on stitch markers.💗I don't do a project without them. The seamless join has been one of my favorites. It is a more eye appealing, unnoticed ending of a round. Great video, Roz.😊
I never depended on stitch markers and prided myself on that. Old age or whatever it is has led me to using stitch markers in first and last stitch and wherever else need be as my sanity is worth more than pride and aggravation in my stitch counts being off and having to frog things 😢😅
Thank you! Losing or gaining a stitch is the bane of my existence🤦♀️. Your little tips are always amazing and sooo helpful. I’ve learned so much from you.
I know I’ve had trouble with all of these things you’ve shown, at one time or another. Personally, I need to make sure to use stitch markers that lock, because invariably I manage to dislodge them otherwise. Also, I always find it helpful when directions indicate how many sts you should have at the end of a row-a good checkpoint. But many don’t include this. I especially liked how you show to neatly close up a circular piece with having it look like all the rest of the sts!! Amazing! Thank you for addressing these issues!
Such useful tips. I always have trouble with my starting chain being one shy. I did learn to use a bigger hook for the starting chain then switching back. This helped a lot. I cant believe you have an old brain!!! ☮️🌎🌲
Me too. It's not because our brain is old. We have too much memory. I always relate it to the computer. Clearing our mind of useless information to bring in new knowledge is difficult. 🍁🍁🍁
Good morning Roz 😊 Great video!! I imagine this has been my problem many times. Definitely have "old lady brain" I am taking out those stitch markers. You are going to save me again from frustrating moments. I was looking for the video showing the seamless join just last week!! Thank you!! You are my crochet tutorial Angel!! 😇❤ Have a happy and blesses day!! 😊❤❤❤
I use stitch markers to show the next stitch to crochet into after doing an invisible decrease. I struggle to see which stitch is next otherwise and often lose my stitch count in amigurumi this way. Great tips!
I have a lot of tip videos that you’ll find in the playlist section. I love knitting but learned after crocheting. So for me , I find it more difficult in some ways . Mainly, when I drop stitches . I’m lost when it comes to fixing mistakes! 😅🧶💕
Good morning Roz and a blessed Sunday to you . I love your tips and tricks . I've been using many of them in my projects because i love clean neat work . Your tutorials is always well received . Have a wonderful day and week ahead with the boys and girls . Biscuit is hiding from me . Special meow to him 🐈❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much, it makes me so happy to hear that! 💕 Biscuit sends you a big kiss . Loki is fed up with the kittens so just a hug from him today. Have a great week, Angela 🧶💕
Excellent tips! I’m discovering that I have a tendency to add a stitch at the join when making circular things. I’ve started adding stitch markers, but is there something else I should be looking for?
That can be tricky , yes, especially if you are doing a continuous circle. I think using the stitch marker is your best defense with that added stitch issue. 👍🏻💕
Hello! This was a great video. Thank you. I am still a little confused about thr seamless join...it seems like it added a stitch. .does that count as a stitch?..if i was doing another round on top in say a diff color wouldnt there be an extra stitch? Can you explain a little further? Thank you!
I struggle when rows are joined with a slip stitch. Do you ever crochet in that slip stitch? I end up with an incorrect number of stitches in almost every project I do that isn't in continuous rounds.
Yes , you do usually work into the sane stitch where you made the slip stitch . It can be a bit tricky . If it’s not adding up correctly for you , you can adjust it to make sure it does. 👍🏻💕
@@marianeculek3261 I’m actually still here until Wednesday. (I pre-recorded a couple of videos). I’m going to miss it very much but also looking forward to coming home 💕💕🧶 I’ll come back soon.

It actually doesn’t add a stitch . It’s just adding the top of the stitch to match the rest of the stitches. 👍🏻💕
