As a city person dealing with cats and dogs, I am totally awed by the size and power of these huge animals. Big Joe is just awesome at 1600 pounds or so. You people are quite a team and that's what it takes. Thanks for letting us in on the action. Be safe everyone.
I do believe big Joe was over 1800 pounds I could be wrong but I think he was..
Sorry he lost a lot of weight
@@terryeaston5311 Most incredible to be that close to that much power and such massive muscle.
What magnificent animals. I am so glad people are bringing them back. Great job folks.
Crazy!!!!!!
Thanks for sharing. I’ve been watching Cross Timber’s Bison since he had his original herd. What amazing animals. And it’s nice that he can count on family to help out.
He has a great crew of friends and family. Always a plus when there's no injuries to either Bison or human 🤗🙏
That was a close call with Big Joe. He's a beast, a beautiful one. Love watching those bisons, they are beautiful animals in a odd way. ❤❤
Oh, even though the blood pressure is up a hair, that was MUCH smoother than last time! I know Dunbar & Big Joe like treats, maybe Dusty should find some soft ones that they like, get them used to the treats, and then at worming time, wrap one around the wormer tube to disguise it?
Good evening to Arms Family Homestead and all others too.
The confidence when Dunbar came out of the chute though!!!! His slow walk off that stage and that side eye look back just to let you know he wasn't scared of you 😂🤣😂 He's like I'm right here son if you want some 🤣 Did she say BIG JOE weighed in at 1685lbs 😳
Question: Big Joe is the biggest, and Dunbar is the friendliest, right? Also: What happened to the bison who had the medical problems? Is he okay?
Love watching Dusty "work" his bison. Truth be told I found Cross Timbers Bison first here in UA-cam land. And that lead me to your channel. Love seeing family helping family. Keep up the great work!!
Have a blessed day.
I found AFH, then Yt suggested CTB. then later I found out they were family. Great content.
@@j.walker3498 Same here!
I too discovered Cross Timbers first as it was listed when I watched a video of an idiot in Yellowstone coming way too close to a bison. Then from Cross Timbers, I found Arms. And now follow both!
I watched some random facebook recommended video of Dusty working Bison and got addicted to CTB, then migrated over to AFH, which i have been binging on waiting for new bison videos... and now i love watching alpacas, mini donkeys, goats and the rest of the gang. Honestly i think the first video that led me to Dusty and Company was one of Daniel's, i just had to rediscover him trying to get my Bison Fix :-)
Me to, because I just love anything Cow related Hahaha I live in the Netherlands, no bison there =(
Oh my this was awesome to watch as I have so much respect for the Bison. So happy all went well. Thanks Daniel for filming this. Enjoyed and Love y'all.
Dunbar is so cool. Strolled out of that enclosure like " Guess I showed you guys!"
Daniel you are truly the comedian and a great M.C. The bison put on a great show as always, and it was very exciting!
That was awesome. Glad they all cooperated. Big Joe gets medicated this time! Yay! Stay safe, stay well.
I love when you said: have you ever tried to push a car in park, I feel like that with big Joe. that made me laugh so much
Your viewpoint definitely gave a different perspective than the Cross Timbers’ video. Love the humor! ❤️
My 19 yr old says to me earlier “ hey mom I’m obsessed with this new you tuber, it’s arms family homestead. I love it.” So I say” yeah I’ve been watching him for couple years now.” He says “ well he’s my new favorite “. ❤️💕
NEVER TURN YOUR BACK on ‘em… unless it’s to RUN! 😅 Thanks for always being there Boone! 🙏🦬
I love how you all come together and help one another that is how it is suppose to be, Thanks for sharing.
How wild i was just thinking, well wondering if you were helping with the bison this year. My dad has a bison ranch in Alabama. They are beautiful. But dangerous. Not like cattle at all.
Your channel has brought me so much joy and peace. Id love to just sit at the creek and chat with Jesus. That seems amazing. God bless you and your WHOLE FAMILY. Keep them all safe and sound.
Does your dad allow visitors, or need some help? I’d love to check out his bison. I live in Georgia, but I’m not sure if there are any bison ranches is in Georgia.
He allows people to stop and see them. His name is DJ , just like DeeJay on here.
I'm from northeast Alabama what part of bama is he in?
Same. Northeast. Close to Anniston.
Hello my fellow sister in Christ. Your whole comment was beautiful but that last part was even more beautiful. It made me smile and melt my heart. Speaking with Jesus the best🥰
Back to where I started, thanks Daniel for introducing me to Dusty's channel. That last working of the Bison was where it all started for me. Love those beasts.
I respect my male indoor Siamese cat when he sees a cat outside his slider door and I give him space. I can only imagine the adrenaline you feel around the bison 🦬 when you are working them. Beautiful critters but RESPECT. Big Joe is in the house. Good job
I really enjoy watching Dusty work the bison 🦬. Love his channel.
Just another day with the icon of the American Plains! Such a majestic animal! 🦬
Glad things went well and no one was injured, on two legs or four. Hope you and yours have a great week!
Go watch Cross Timbers Bison. The female with Dunbar did get hurt - very close to a major problem.
Dusty almost got a second bunghole, compliments of Big Joe.
I like the idea of naming one of your bulls, “Little Joe.”
You got some great footage! Good job!
Wow! Big Joe’s “one eye stare” is intimidating! 😱 Great video of a job well done! Thanks!
I suggest making a push panel for the tractor. Then when u get them in the crowding area u can move them much more safely.
I really enjoy Daniel and his comedic comments! It breaks the stress.
I love watching Dusty work his animals!! Thanks for sharing your experience, love your videos Daniel😀😀
I love watching Big Joe, he is not bother by Dusty! He just turned to get his treats, then showed that was ready to get out of shoot!
Great job guys enjoy watching both channels, wow on one video of showing others how you can get things working together for animals. God Bless you all and enjoy the rest of the day.
My bet is those guys don't do much else the remainder of their day...whew!!!
You got amazing shots. Outstanding vlog. So happy for everyone. Your a great BIL.
I am telling you Dusty is the guy. He is doing such a great job with growing his herd, visionary, and passionate about what he is doing.
it's amazing how those big critters can turn on a dime
and give you back a nickle change
Hello Daniel and Arms Family along with Dusty and the Baker Family. What a crazy day of working the Bison. I would say this time was so much easier than the last time it looks like all the work that was put into the new setup worked out really well. So ai can say as always stay safe injoy your family time's together and may God continue to bless Y'all and your families. Thank you for sharing this video I like how te families come together to help each other. ❤️🙏🇺🇸
Thank you Daniel! You caught all the action! Your extended family is an amazing, wonderful example of what by description, a family should be. Stay safe, God Bless You All! 💖🇺🇸
Greetings from East Texas! WHEW! I was on the edge of my chair. Big Joe did much better this time. Glad Dusty didn’t get poked. Blessings to ALL yall
Daniel, you got me laughing. You were saying about the “cop killer” donuts and how you don’t eat those anymore. Then you turned right around and grabbed the biggest one out of the box! 🤣 From one retired LEO to another, donuts are in your genes and you’ll never stop eating them!
Friend of mine is on the Marceline Missouri police force. He says they do PIES not doughnuts lol.
@@scottfindley7284 I’m not speaking for all cops, but if you waive any kind of baked goods under my nose, I’ll eat it hook, line & sinker!

I noticed a lot of Cross Timber people with Doughnuts in their Jeans. Hope y’all have Shipley’s. Best doughnuts anywhere!🍩
Found my way here via Cross Timbers Bison. Glad to have another channel to watch. Howdy from Wyoming!
When you look back on this video, look at Big Joes eye as he looks at you through the space between the panels. He’s planning a get back.

Good evening Arms Family, from Newark Ohio! Love watching the animals and you all. Been watching you since the start of Covid which also got me to watch Cross Timbers Bision, Jimmy Houston and even Dutch, but I don’t watch him like I do the rest of you. God Bless You ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Daniel I watched Dusty’s working of the Bison. Have to say your camera and footage of the whole thing was much better and more enjoyable to watch! You are very good at keeping it interesting. After being through Yellowstone and having them walk right beside the vehicle, Dusty’s look so much bigger. Good job!
I really liked the eyeball shot of Big Joe, when he said, “you’ve been duped!“ 😂🤣
I was wondering when you would post your video. Always love watching the bison! Oh and you should name your bull Little Joe 😜😍
Really enjoying watching u guys! Grown to love yas! Hope all is well!! 💛
Daniel, love your comic narrative! Another great video. I always watch Cross Timbers vlogs, t he bison are so interesting.
Your brother in law has a dangerous, labor intensive business. He earns every penny !!!!!!!!
The only ones I’m not terrified of are the beautiful little babies.🌻👍🏻💕🙏🏻
What we used on stubborn buffalo back when we ran them was a bunch of empty spray rattle cans wired together in a big ball so that it makes a lot of noise and put that on the end of a 8-10 foot pole so you could be on the outside but still shake it at them in the middle of the pen.
Love watching you guys working the bison 🦬 ❤. God bless.
I watched Dusty's video of working the Bison. Yours was just as good and showed a different perspective. Thanks for your video.
Daniel you are such a hoot. 😂😂😂😂 So enjoyed the video as always. Be safe and keep up the wonderful work you do with these animals.
I am a ‘golden girl’ who found Cross Timber’s Bison a little late in life. But last year and this, I have been in awe of your prowess and courage handling these bison! I need to find a Big Joe T shirt for little Washington, Texas
I'm always stressed when I watch Cross Timbers. I can't imagine how stressful for you guys and the bison too.
Oh I think it's so peaceful. They are beautiful and Dusty is so good at this.
You gotta love Dunbar. Kicks up a big fuss while in the shoot then just saunters out like he has worries.
I held my breath while Dunbar was in the cage. You’d think I was there. You have a great setup.
He was acting more like Joe with the eyes rolling, then he walked out of the pen with an attitude like he had been putting them on. He's a character. I like his hairdo too.
I thought Dunbar was stubborn but Big Joe takes the prize
Dunbar is trying to catch up with Big Joe size wise and orneriness. I enjoy watching Dusty's channels so thank you for turning me on to Cross Timbers Bison. Seems like Kevin and Dusty ran the whole time. I can only imagine how tired they were after the excitement was over.
Big joe looks like a gentle Giant but strong...he's my favorite ❤️❤️
That was Fun to watch. Had seen it on Dusty's channel, yours had some comic relief.
Wow, when one went after the fence. Reminded me of those boars. How they went to the fence. Bison are scary. Glad all went well. 👍😊🇨🇦
You got me hooked on cross timber awhile ago. Thank you for that. Love you guys too
Amazing video...up close and personal with the Bison. So glad no one got injured including the Bison. I feel like I witnessed something very few people would ever see if it wasn't for Dusty and you Daniel. Thanks for sharing. ❤🙏
Looked like Dusty got a bit of a boost onto that fence. They look so fluffy & cuddly though.
I thought it was funny you said we have a dilemma a few seconds later it looked like Dusty was on the horns of a dilemma.
7:30
Big Joe’s tail says I know what you’re up to
I've been wanting to see things from your perspective.
Lol, teasing about Dusty's little tractor ;D . Oh! Now I want a twist doughnut...mmmm. That was a great video, thank you Daniel for sharing your side and enjoyed the comedic banter, God bless.
Daniel, you a laugh riot! What a helper!
Did I see a Sonne slappy?
Any barnwords used that day?
Why didn’t you hop on in there, Daniel and give Big Joe a goose? He looks like he’d like to horn in on your business!
1685 lbs!! That’s a lot of bison! Huge success meaning nobody lost limbs or life. Thanks for sharing!
That was really tough!!!
But i laughed when you said "You've been duped!' lol
Glad you didn't decide on getting Bisons in your farm, Sir Daniel!
Stay safe everyone!!!
Bison are one of my favorite animals. They look healthy and beautiful but my favorite ear tagging sound is still from the baby goats. Baaaaaaahhhh!!! Thanks for sharing,
Always enjoy seeing your videos. Houston is the best. Keep up the good work.
im watching you guys all the way for louisiana i just love watch your show. I just love BIG JOE hes my dude
I had a black Angus calf it was supposed to be a steer, but was only 1/2 fixed, mean as any bull l ever delt with, l wanted to fatten for freezer but he was too crazy for me to keep & took him to sale
Love both channels and the way family supports family . 😊😊
🇨🇦 my goodness! This certainly does not look easy! Way to go guys, Please be safe! 🙏
Maybe try giving Dunbar and Big Joe some cubes when they are in the squeeze shoot and maybe that will mellow them out.
Something to think about and try.
You've been officially invited to go ride Tex at Lester's house!!! Now that's the video I'm waiting to see...🤣😂🤣😂 Love watching this too!!! Glad no one was hurt!!! Stay blessed!! ❤🤗❤🤗
Which video was that, I missed it. Hillarious
If Joe wanted him he would have gotten him.
Didn't know they got so big! Beautiful animals
Hey Daniel, what does Dusty do with the bison? Are they ranched for their meat or for resale? It appears to be a pretty expensive undertaking with food and care that they need.
I had a large operation (2000-2010), we sold bison meat when we started. After my lead bull took first place twice(two different years in Yearling class and then as. Two Year old) we starting sell calves and yearlings at several States shows and sales. These generated more monies quicker. The part about breeding is bison are much slower to start breeding and may be two or three by the time you see your first calf. They are magnificent animals and very intelligent. Hope you don’t mind me interjecting into Dusty’s video.
follow him and the herd at cross timbers bison. love it
Great video today. We got to see how to get the bison in a trailer and how to get them out. The funny part of this video was how you were showing how not to leave too much space for the bison to run in and never leave your butt hanging in the corral when Big Joe is in it!! Lots of laughs and fun. I'm glad everyone was safe and it was a great success.
Thank goodness no one got hurt
God bless u guys
Well done Daniel for helping Dusty with these big guys. I love watching both your YT videos ❤️ from South Africa 🇿🇦
So glad you guys can jump high & fast
I thought for a minute you were volunteering to be the runner in front of big Joe! 🤣 I'll bet you are glad you have mini herefords! 😁
I have no expertise with shoots or large animals. But I often wonder if practicing run thru's with no shots etc would help them get used to go through the shoots.
Probably... and do a feeding after they go through
I love watching Dusty and Marissa working the Bison. It was wonderful watching everyone work together. Love this channel.
Daniel, since you are the "comic relief" how dare you not show the clip of Big Joe trying to come over the fence at you! Now that was real comic relief ... Just watching you back up was so funny!! I really though that Big Joe was going to climb over!! At least Dusty had it in the video!!! And the most important thing is no body got hurt!!!!
It’s less drama but you’re getting better and better. Well done Dusty and crew.
Definitely enjoyed the bison. Your humor suits me to a T. Besides, it’s always a win when everything comes out still moving no matter which side they’re on! Total City Girl
And that's why we love to watch you working with Dusty and the rest of the family....Awsome!!!
Fun to watch but always grateful no one gets hurt! Risky business I’d say
Always fun to watch the Bison and the rowdy cowboys!!! Thanks for the videos. Watching from Duncan, Ok.
1 minute ago Glad I'm quite on time 😉 my heart is pumping too fast seeing you guys managed with that buffalos. You did well!! I'm even scared my Goat buck and to put ear tags, how much more to handle a big buffalo 🙄🙃 Well done!!
Bison as buffalo aren't native to North America.
@@SagebrushRambles so I should say it is a Bison? Or Buffalo and Bison are the same?
Daniel u are very much part of the crew we love to see u ! In both channel s !
Dunbar done so well he didn’t break anything
C Nothing like a family that works together. I still remember those days. There were 8 children in my Mom’s family and she was the only girl. When all 8 plus their spouses and each had 2 to 4 children plus both grandparents got together whether it was a giant potluck picnic in the park or a remodel of my grandparents little 2 bedroom ranch house It was all hands on deck!! Literally! I remember it took 3 days on a long holiday weekend to remodel their house. New Sheetrock, insulation, baseboards, light fixtures/fans, stoves ovens, g getting refrigerator and roof. I know there was more but can’t remember. I do remember all the bigger kids use a wheelbarrow and collected larger red rock and lined the sidewalks and flower beds. Planted flowers. It didn’t look like the same house!! They loved it and with all the women and some kids cooking and baking out of 3 ovens there was some mighty good food made! Enjoy all these times because time does literally slip away so fast. I am now the last of the cousins in Lubbock. I still have numerous cousins in Arkansas that have the same type of get togethers. All my Oklahoma family is gone too. Fond memories!
Great video Daniel! All went well today ! Thank you Dusty for your letting us join in on the fun again. God Bless you & all your crew, also glad mo injuries! See you next video.👋🙏✝️🇺🇲✌🦬🦬❤ Love you all!
I love watching you annoy Dusty and the bison.
Whew! This had my heart rate up! 😂
I learned today, you have to respect bison the same way you've got to respect the sea. They're both wild, untamable, and gorgeous. Thanks for taking us along to see what goes in to raising bison for a living. Not an easy job by any stretch of the imagination! Enjoy that bison steak dinner!!!
Hiiii! Love ya'lls videos!
Hi. Dang those Bison are stubborn and feisty as all get-out, aren't they. What is that pointed bent thing Dusty was trying to put in Dunbar's nose? That was so much fun to watch. You sure snookered Big Joe. Lol.
Love to watch your bison videos.
Hi from Syracuse NY brother and I saw you earlier today helping your brother
