Earlier tonight, I had the honour and privilege of seeing four different versions of the Greubel Forsey watches up close and personal. I was completely blown away with the properly high level of finishing and no one, absolutely no one does a tourbillon like Greubel Forsey do. It's just unbelievable. My favourite models are perhaps the GMT and Quadruple Tourbillon. The globe is outstanding and protrudes out like nothing before. If only I had the cash...
+MagnificentKot That is indeed a nice view to enjoy!!!!! And fully understand your taste, I love the GMT (and so many others...). Did you see this video report of ours about the art of finishing at GF: ua-cam.com/video/a3rWsCMPmuE/v-deo.html All the best
+TheWATCHES.tv Hi! Yes, I've watched all your wonderful videos from the recent past. It was actually from you that I learnt about Greubel Forsey. So I'm very grateful to you all for that. Do you know if Ahmed Seddique & Sons are having a watch gathering in Dubai this year? I'll likely be there towards the end of the year and I just wondered if you knew because I'd love to come along, learn and meet some great people. Also, have you seen the Cinema watch by Russian watchmaker Konstantin Chaykin? I really love the concept of watching a movie on your wrist. :P Thank you all at WatchesTV for your excellent videos!! Best wishes and see you all sooooon.
+MagnificentKot Yes that Konstantin Chaykin is really a cool watch and we had included it in out Top 5 selection of Baselworld 2013 ua-cam.com/video/h-n8jDJhnls/v-deo.html and regarding Dubai it's indeed supposed to happen again this year, but probably early November. This was such a great event that they put together last year, such a breath of fresh air!!! Had you seen our coverage of it: ua-cam.com/video/7Gs1PSNqsB0/v-deo.html
+TheWATCHES.tv Greetings! How are you? Hope you're all having a fabulous day in Switzerland and thank you very much for your kind reply. I'll watch your video of your Top 5 selection of Baselworld 2013 in a few minutes. I did watch your video of the event in Dubai last year and thought it was great. It's a wonderful idea to have all the great watchmakers there in one place talking about the watch industry. I hope I can make it there this year. It'll be wonderful to meet you all. I'm hoping your Swiss Watch Road Trip idea is going great too. It's a shame I couldn't make it but I am excited for my brother because he's getting married. :-D No matter I'm sure I'll make it to Switzerland soon too. Take care and I'm wishing you all a fabulous day. Good luck with everything!
+TheWATCHES.tv Oh just one idea I had, perhaps you can make a video of your top 5 watches of all time and why they are so great to you. Perhaps you can make it like your brilliant saga episodes where you visit the manufacture and ask about the history behind the watch and what technical challenges they faced when making it?
There are not other brand the can make gorgeous time piece's such as Greubel Forsey everything is just unbelievable each watch perfect craftsmanship they are the real masters of complications good video guys keep making it really lovely to watch it...
The GMT black is an unbelievable beauty! Thank you very much for all those great interviews! I wonder why you haven't more views and subscribers though?

I don't get the globe .... it doesn't look like the actual globe ????
+Panerai Ferrari In this video you will see it better, please check it out: ua-cam.com/video/oteExpTyYJ4/v-deo.html
I have seen thjis piece in real life .. what is the oval blob in the middle meant to be?
+Panerai Ferrari Ok, I understand your what you mean. It's the earth seen from the north pole and the "blob" is Groenland. You can check this video too: www.luxurywatchescatalogue.com/cat/greubel-forsey/gmt/gmt-red-gold/
it doesn't look acurate to me ... I really don't get the structure of this globe ... and does it move? rotate?
TheWATCHES.tv
Greenland is the smaller blob to the left but there is a mystery big blob front and centre
i like the tourbillon
The only setback is the case size. Not suitable for smaller wrist.
That guy is wearing two watches! aha.
Mr Forsey can wear watches where and when he wants. Sometimes he straps his Assymetrique model around his ankles, just because he can.
This watch cannot be comfortable to wear.
That's what we thought too at first, but then we tried it and it is very comfortable.
