You know, in all the ‘excitement’ of the Cubitus (not really), I almost forgot to express my appreciation for the great work you folks do. Your video coverage is consistently outstanding and I always look forward to the next one. For many years you’ve given us fantastic coverage of the watch industry, at no charge to us viewers! Usually with the best video footage anywhere of the actual watches. My sincere gratitude for doing so.
I love your channel. You stay independent of the hype, stay positive, don't annoy us with subscription reminders, talk well, show us all the amazing watches released in such high quality, and all in a neat movie. How can I support your channel without giving you money outright? Don't have much money at the moment but I cannot have this channel leave my life.
The watch stories are always superb, better than any others covering the space…but my #1 Story of the Year was about the exploding diamonds! Fascinating ❤
Can’t beat gold polished Roman numerals that sparkle like jewels in the sunlight. Loving the sun ray dial man that pops!MAMACOO watches. What a beautiful subtle piece.
got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on MAMACOO 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.
Quick set date was a big deal as well on the royal oak the last time that got an update. Quite disgraceful given the price. You’d think at this price point that simple stuff that a cheap department store watch can do would be standard. Hacking seconds really shouldn’t be something you boast about in 2024…
What about 45 hour power reserve and 30m WR? Micro rotor in a 45mm case? What's the point? Like putting a hatchback engine in a bus. They could've fit 4 micro rotors in it, and made it 1000m WR. Wasted real estate.
The cubitus is a beauty, I mean the green one of course. I can’t understand so much hate, when it appears in the screen it looks clean, strong, has a lot of presence, it is sporty and elegant. Also brutalist. I love the effect the ears at the sides give to this watch, more than the effect on the nautilus. This one looks like an architectural structure. I am excited by the idea of smaller sizes and colors. And the haters? For me they just don’t understand. They are sheeps thinking they have good taste. But really they are just sheep’s who never understood the nautilus or the aquanaut, and now they don’t understand the cubitus. It’s really kind of sad, it like Trump supporters, moreless, incapable of understanding the subtle details. I can understand the movement should be square, the bracelet could be “easy change”, I understand the platinum one has weird complications, but hating the green one? I imagine Homer Simpson thinking he has good taste.
Thanks a lot for sharing your opinion and like was mentioned, am pretty certain this collection will be totally accepted in a little while. The very best to you
I have a real SUB but I also bought one of these replicas from MAMACOO for piece of mind if I go to another country or if I am doing activities that can damage the watch. I don't see anything wrong with that.
I think the watch industry has mirrored the movie industry in recent years : too many expensive remakes, not enough originality. Hollywood is now in flames, big trouble. It is about to go through another version of the 1970’s - a revolution, burning-down the old system. If watches want to survive, it is painfully obvious what they must do : originality. Look, I love a vintage homage as much as the next guy…but what point is there in a big house like Omega doing vintage? Their old pieces exist, we can buy them at auction…leave it be and spend the time and money on original design?
That’s indeed a very good parallel, totally get you on this and the lack of originality is for sure a big issue when you try to look forward. Wish you a very pleasant weekend
Mytheresa is a non existing company, I smell a very dirty deal. Nice going for Richmont middle managers to work over the year towards systematically destroying a legendary Yoox.
you can't be a watch commentator and retailer at the same time.. there's obviously a big conflict of interest and the question of bias and contrived content is inevitable. I have to say.. if a watch is manual wind, surely it would be nice to have a power indicator on the dial.. I have always thought that if there's a power reserve indicator I am in.. I'd buy the manual wind.
I have “real” watches and a lot of them. I have a friend who buys the AMZWATCH we put them side by side and guess what ?! It’s unbelievable!!! I am at the Rolex boutique with her and no one can tell he has a fake
I disagree with that sentiment for the following reasons. 1) for someone who’s been this channel’s subscriber since the very beginning, the music has always been a staple of thewatchestv videos. Be it the intros/outros or the background music. Removing it from the videos would be changing the character of the channel, which would be fine but I’d hope something like that would be done with great care for good reasons. 2) the primetime segments have historically been longer in length and packed with content. The background not only adds some transparent ambiance, but it also adds to the dynamic nature of the primetime videos. In other words, it makes a 20-30 minute video seem perceptually shorter than its actual runtime. 3) having watched these videos using headphones, desktop speakers or even phone speakers, the voice of the host is always front and center while they’re speaking. It never overwhelms the host’s voice and the music all but disappears on lesser quality speakers so you can’t even tell it’s there. 4) if you’re focusing on the background music instead of what’s being said, you’re doing it wrong. My vote goes to keeping the music as is, and viva watchmaking!

Ah that Cubitus line is such a stoke of genius by PP...said no one ever
I think it is. Real goal of that watch is to elevate the Nautilus and constantly remind you as a Cubitus wearer that you actually want a Nautilus.
One way of looking at it ;)
You never truly own a patek unless its a cubitus at a discount in the grey market

Well that's a very much appreciated message and we truly thank you for it, makes us tremendously happy!
I've been watching watch content for years and in the UK I've never seen this show until today 😂
And Patel having hacking seconds is the bare minimum for a watch 😂😂😂
Definitely my favorite watch related series on YT. Keep doing what you do, absolutely love it!
That’s really nice of you, thanks so much and have a lovely day

As always the most thoughtful , well researched & eloquent watch channel around , keep MAMACOO coming !
I love watching your videos and AMZWATCH to keep myself updated on the world of watches
It seems rather pathetic in 2024 that hacking seconds hand is mentioned as a ‘feature’. 😂 Great review of the industry my friend 👏
Thank you and do agree that it’s not an “amazing” feature, just had to be mentioned ;) best to you
Great show ! You pack in three times as much info and news in the same amount of time, as others.
Thanks a lot for your message, makes us very happy
Outstanding video.I have to go with the AMZWATCH, especially with that green dial as my favorite
The watch stories are always superb, better than any others covering the space…but my #1 Story of the Year was about the exploding diamonds! Fascinating ❤
That was indeed pretty cool and surprising 👍👍

Merci pour toutes ces nouvelles concrètes
Toujours autant de sincérité et de passion
Magnifique exemple de ligne de conduite
Viva watchmaking
Merci beaucoup, ca nous fait très plaisir à lire
Bangin show mate. 🦵
Thanks so much 💪
Cubitus. The name of the series is a reflection of the originality and effort that went into its design.
🤣🤣
AMZWATCH has set a new standard for replica watches. Their craftsmanship is impeccable. Its hard to tell the difference from the originals

I like the watch I got from AMZWATCH. That rubber strap combo looks really cool! Been wearing it since last year and love every minute of it.
MAMACOO is a must for me as a watch collector
hello, great show, please slow down it will make this channel stronger Thanks
I will try my best 😆😉😉 but thanks for the message
Agree, the flow is too fast.
great video
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks!
I LOVE ❤ the Cubitus 😊 and want one!!! ☝️

Love your channel with so many stellar watches! For me the AMZWATCH’ watch is my favorite. Keep the videos coming. Thanks.
Thanks for the roundup.
QQ: Is that Parmigiani Fleurier Toric on your wrist, i.e in the first section of the video?
Yes, it is! You have good eyes ;)
As always, thanks for this kind of cool knowledge in one very nice movie.
Glad you enjoyed it, many thanks
Fortis!!!!!❤
Pretty good value for your buck
Nice cubbtius clock in the back
It always amazes me how much beauty and precision are added to the parts of MAMACOO's watch 99% of people will never see.
26:25 Is there a movement retention screw missing just next to the balance wheel?
Looks like it is =)
Maybe an additional feature to distinguish it from the nautilus? 🙊
Great information , keep up the good work
Thanks, will do! The best to you
Thank you. 💙⌚
You are so welcome 🙏
I like, I subscribe, I ring the bell for the denim shirts!
Haha, glad that one did the job 👍👍
Hacking seconds are a big deal on a 40,000 grand watch?

@@var_log_messages Yes its shows desperation when it even has to be mentioned.
You’re right, not a big deal and definitely not the main topic here ;)
Ha, that’s funny and true.

Uh-oh….Marc André said “Swatch Type XX”….! It’s gonna happen!😅 ( I would actually love to see that….sorry😅)
Omg...a Patek F-91W....😅
So when is this Rolex crash supposed to happen? I'm STILL waiting for my Meteorite dial GMT Pepsi 4 years later! Crash? what Crash?
Exactly, no crash but mere slowdown and hope you'll get it!
CASKET - PHILIPPE
Well, that Cubitus is certainly different. If it works for Cartier with the Santos, then why not Patek?
We will see in a couple of years.
What's the name of the watch museum in Japan? I can't find it anywhere
It is VOGA Watch Museum. Here's its youtube channel: ua-cam.com/channels/QIrVT7Titl9sNuNL0h48sw.html
DECUBITUS
Interesting as always, but i don't think you need the distracting backing track ...
Well noted 👍

The name cubitus is dismal, but I like, that they did a Homage to the Casio G Square Metal 😂😂😂😂
Ok, that made me laugh 👍
