If you want to use the wire sliding bobber setup and have it be easier to change leader lengths for varying depths, you could pre-tie several different leader lengths with a hook at one end and a loop at the other. Then you only have to remove the pre-tied leader where it is looped onto the swivel at the end of the wire slider bobber and can be quick-changed for a new leader length. There are several different loop types here on you tube that are strong, and easy and fast to tie, even on the water if you need a leader longer or shorter that the leaders you might have tied up before your trip. This can give you the easy to adjust feature of the pegged bobber setup, with the sliding, clacking noisy bobber attractor setup all in one rig. I have used this type of rigging in fresh water to attract curious and hungry fish to the area where they then see the suspended bait which they can't resist. I hope this can help someone out there. Great video, by the way, you folks are always helpful to me and keep me coming back for more of you great submissions. Thank you, Salt Strong!

Good info; I’ve used small egg weights instead of a split-shot weight. What do you think about that Austin?

Nice video. I have had success using an adjustable bobber stop where the line does not slide off the cork at times and is very easy to move. What is your opinion on bobber stops?

Thank you Gene!! I think that is great!! Bobber stops also work excellent if you are wanting to fish depths 4ft or deeper!! We will have some videos on this subject in the future for sure!!

This video doesn't even show you how you should hook the shrimp other than in the picture you click on to watch the video...I've never seen anyone say to put the hook in the way it's shown....
