I finished my first self assembly hive following your super helpful videos. For my second hive I timed myself for the last two supers and managed complete assembly in under 30 minutes each - much better than the two hours it took me the first time.
Hmm, so the bevelled locking bar goes at the bottom but when he is hammering the inside wall to be flush he says he is hammering down, but he is hammering away from the bevelled end. At the start he says that the inside walls are generally made to be flush with the bottom locking bar. Confusing. Admittedly the video cuts to a closeup when hammering the inside wall so maybe he flipped it over :)
The instructions for a budget super suggest that the top of the castellations should be level with the top of the outside walls but that does not seem to be the case in the video. How should the castellations end up?
Instructions say the cutout on the castellated spacer must project 1/4" above the inside wall and in the video they appear to be level with the inside wall. Which is correct please? Thanks
I am sorry. We have had comments that the videos are too slow! You should be able to pause each stage to make sure the assembly is correct. Any queries please let me know and thank you for the feedback.

No the top of the castellations should be flush with the top of the outer wall. I thought the video showed this but I will double check
