Edit: Btw, the Cleric respawns allies between waves, we might look at that again as it is a bit niche right now.

So the “once per wave” mechanic i believe seems to happen at the end of a wave sadly.
Remember the one other time you had a character die, and they were only resurrected right as the victory screen came up? I thought it was weird that it was at that exact moment, but that explains why you didn’t get a rez during the entire boss fight: it was all “one wave” that doesn’t end until the boss would be dead.
Here’s to hoping a new series has risen. This looks highly entertaining. Plus such a low price definitely a good time sink to purchase

This is a first for me typing out something like this but ever since I watched you play Stacklands, I bought the game and played for myself and thoroughly enjoyed it. When this game came recently as well, I immediately thought about how much I enjoy watching you play this obscure gem. That's when I knew you were my go to for game recommendations. I think the rings give % damage while the shears have flat damage, that way when combined the effect of adding the shears looks larger than stated

By the way the +2 damage item on the hoplite had one to one scaling but you also had two +25% damage items so the +2 damage became +3 damage. Just so you know :)

My only complaint about this game is that selling heroes is done by sacrificing them. I don't want to kill these cute potatoes 😢
I know at least for me I don't mind advanced tooltips it is nice to be able to see info if i get confused if you agree like this so retro sees it if you disagree make own comment and tell people to like it kindof like a vote

You're thinking of Royale Age. I did play Just King about two months ago but it was never a battle royale.

just checked on steam and this game is only three bucks. a fucking steal.
Some of the art here looks so clean and nice, but wtf, the UI looks like an awful mess, why are there like 6+ wildly different fonts being used right beside each other? U g l y
Ugh. Refunded it after 38 minutes. The squad moves like a whale through molasses, despite the arena being minuscule and enemies more often than not being able to spawn directly on your head with no time to respond, so success in general, and the survival of any non-tank class, is absolutely nothing more than RNG not deciding to dump alpha strikes on your head.
Fun to watch, absolutely terrible to play and doesn't respect your time.
