This game is by Cygames! That usually means two things.
1, it's quality is well guaranteed. 2, you can have some doubts of them translating games, but since this came out in English we are good.
gonna buy it probably, the fact u can customize ur attack pattern and playstyle is what i like the most and intrigue me

I got this day one and it's really good. definitely a hidden gem
I love that your minions are called Lilliputs after the Lilliputians and also the storyline is intriguing enough for me to still mostly remember it 10 days later. And it played good!
Love it, seems a lot of the frame stuttering didn't make it into the video, wonder how it plays when you aren't recording. Seems very cute and with a lot of options, looks like a worthy pick up
They just meant hitstop, not actual framerate issues

liliputs, champs, astrals are the same thing btw. they are just different translation & localization from the older game. kinda fun that they are mixing them up together now

Foe means enemy. I guess whenever you get a champion or another item that does frostbite on hit, it's upgraded to glaciate which probably does more damage or freezes them.
Buttons’ attack animation and description “it’s their own fault” is a reference to Bart and Lisa getting into a fight and they windmill their arms while walking at each other, claiming it’s your fault if you get hit
Went from uninterested to instant buy. I would look forward to watching more of it.
So fun fact about Cygames' ....well, games:
They are partially owned by Nintendo and the director for their game design/illustration/game dev department, CyDesignation, is the artist for Final Fantasy Tactics, Akihiko Yoshida. Yoshida typically doesn't get too involved in a game if he doesn't believe that it will do well for a genre it's going to be a part of, which is why when Bravely Default was in development, they put out several demos at different stages of development with surveys to check and see what players liked. He probably wanted to nail down his own entry with some polished design for this game, which is why it might be more appealing to those who don't really like the genre.
Nice to get confirmation, I was getting a Bravely Default vibe from the art style, came down to the comments to see if anyone else had said anything about it, so thanks for your comment!

@@krytenfivetwothreep2485 Seriously, as soon as I saw her design my brain went "mrgrgr" and unlocked memories of that game that really shouldn't be around anymore considering my memory is horrible. It was like.. 8 years ago I played that.
Anyway I'm gonna go listen to that soundtrack on repeat for the next two days.
Really sad that we did not saw an western release for Knights of Glory, the older game from Cygames that was (beautifuly) illustrated by Yoshida-san, it kinda lived on trough Dragalia Lost (that has the same director of the original release of Little Noah, coincidentally ) reusing a lot of the designs, but since DL is now on maintenance mode, Kinghts of Glory legacy is a bit lost (pun intended)...

I feel like there's a lot of complexity in the attack combos, hopefully they really went all in on it cause it looks like a lot of fun.

For those who are keyboard/mouse only: it has been added as of patch 1.01b, released toward the beginning of August. For more details, check the patch notes in Steam. The game devs plan to release bugfixes and monthly content updates. Hope support keeps up for a while. Given the price tag, I might be looking into this one myself.
Oh wow, I used to play the little Noah phone game years ago, this is amazing ^^
I got it directly after watching it from you. It's actually a lot of fun but also there is a solid amount of grind involved. There are many different teams you can build and after all the grind is done the runs getting a bit easy. At the end the game already says "to be continued....". It only cost around 15 buckets, for this amount of polish, a cheap price, but I think they will start releasing dlc for more content and different Dungeons. I actually like that model. I hope the game will be successful.
The art definitely has a Bravely Default feel to it.

btw they never tell you this but you dont get the passives by boosting the bond lvl but by finding 3 of the same liliput in a run

I dont know about steam, but on the switch the controls feel a bit delayed, unrensponsive. Other than that, the game has some great ideas and systems.

I played it on switch is not bad really fun has a few limits indo and don't like u can do combos because some enemies don't work with the combos and the mid and main bosses don't have a stun phases but it could just me
