Great starter/backup machine for anyone. The X10 goes even deeper. In fact I would choose the X10 over the Q20 or even the Q40 as it is better value for money.
@@ShyCataclysm One are where the Q series definitely wins out is in the telescopic stem. It is a much better design and I really wish they had used it for the X series. Apart from that it is very light and easy to use. A bit too sensitive around the rocks and pebbles on the beach. Will give a signal every time you knock against something but you get used to it after a while. The X10 does punch incredibly deep and on the smallest of targets. All in all still a great value for money machine.
Thank you for the reviews on the Quest x5. Seems to be a great machine. I can't wait to use mine. I have a question though. Are larger coils available for this unit? Or any other accessories made specifically for the x5?
I never understood that because something is cheap it's a starter or for kids oh well I guess it's just people's opinion's I mean I have heard other people say the quest q40 and q60's are starter or for kids and they are 300-500 dollar machines....

Yeah... Don't know about being better than q20 and q40 but It's good.
