  • When my kids started hauling up blankets to make rooms in trees, I decided it was time to build a treehouse. This slideshow documents our efforts.

Almost Ten years later!! How’s the treehouse holding up? Are all the kids grown now? Did they enjoy the years playing in their awesome treehouse? Would be cool to see a” 10 years later” update video on the treehouse!!😊God bless!!

Hey, a few years ago, I used your tree house as inspiration for a tree house for my daughter, and got the plans from the same place (and posted my own build videos). Due to the Covid situation, my wife commandeered the tree house and is using it as a home office for her therapy practice. We put AC, heat and wi-fi in it so she's all set.

Amazing. Absolutely amazing. The things like the tract lighting, the returns on the windows, the carpet; I'm quite impressed.

This is EPIC. Very, very well done. You can tell you're a great dad because the words "minimal effort" obviously never entered your head. Out of curiosity, what does something like this do for your property value? I imagine a simple treehouse (especially on land like this that seems to have a lot of trees) wouldn't have a huge effect, but the one you've built is pretty elaborate. Obviously it'd be a huge bonus if you ever sold to a family, but in general, what does it do for home's value?

Wow great treehouse! I have been planning to possibly build a treehouse and I would want it to be very similar to the one in the video, but I would only want to build the house part, not the bridge or separate platform. So could you possibly give me an estimate to how much that part of the treehouse cost you to build? And could you maybe send me a copy or provide a link to the plans or instructions? I hope that's not too much to ask.
    Thank you,
    Lukeup13

I agree with Mark, the trees were damaged in this instance. I also agree that the electrical work was not near to code. The house had no insulation, therefore would be unlivable most of the year. Other than that, it was a work of art.
