MANDATORY ONSCREEN CREDIT - The Evening Woodworker - • I Built a Treehouse in...
This dad has created the ultimate solution to rainy days stuck indoors by building his children an incredible homemade treehouse in the basement.
Mechanical engineer Jared - known as The Evening Woodworker - masterfully built the indoor treehouse in the basement of his home in Washington for his sons.
Taking approximately eight months of Jared’s spare evenings, the fantasy fort was constructed from unused wood from his neighbour, repurposed into a small room, ladder, rope bridge and even a bucket on a winch.
With most of the wood costing nothing, the total cost of the dream build was only $500 for tools and other materials to finish the treehouse.

Where has this been all my life?
This dad is awesome. Congratulations
Wow your dad is so kind
It's amazing hoe much effort he puts into his work! Well done!
wow this is crazy in a good way
Best education for kids. Limitless potentials.
Way to set the bar sir.... when my kids ask for a fort they get chairs and blankets. P.S. great job.
I use to do that to 😂😂😂
Lmao my kids get the blanket fort as well
The love this guy has for his kids where he wants to create memories with them is awesome.
For those who think your kids will only remember money you spent on them, JUST SPEND TIME WITH YOUR KIDS.
My favorite memory of being with my dad was when we got booted from a Mukwonango county (in WI) community pool because we weren't residents of that county (THEY CHECKED ID'S BACK THEN). We loaded up our grill (while it was still cooking our steaks) into the back of our 80s suburban and we drove to the end of the river outside the county line. my job was to hold the grill in the back while it spilled ash inside the suburban. No, i didn't die LOL
oscarpopcan dang I don’t really have important memories of my dad or my mom but I live with my mom every day
Incredible!!! You are an amazing Dad!
Just...wow
He deserves the best dad of the year award 🥇
and then his wife comes home from work: what is all this... clean it up before dinner!!!!
LMAO
I love this, thank you for taking the time to share. Lots of good ideas!
Why Dad’s can’t be at home for too long 😂
W-O-W-!-!-! Reminds me of the creative and thoughtful things my Daddy did.
That is really cool..... Just fun
I really liked your content, keep up the great work!
And Dad of the year goes too....
Instructions? Great job
Great
This is incredible!!! It reminds me of the lost boys in Neverland! What are the black things that you used as a base for your main tree beams?
Well when you are loaded $$$$$$ , hell " I guess you can build something like this !!!
To be fair it doesn't seem like it's a lot of money. He got the trees himself and probably had to get the wood stain it and materials. You can do things like this on a budget
I read that he did this for like $500 including tools, so that brushless DeWalt drill is probably about half that by itself lol.
Or u could hire sumone to make it 4 u
If he ever moves, I want the house!!
Nice
Do you have plans you can share?
Amazing! You did do a great job. ~~~
haha, I want something like this for my "rescue orphans", which are dogs and cats.
Now imagine going through all that work and the kids totally hate it and flat out refuse to use it (period)
Nice if you live in a city but never as cool as a treehouse made by children themself.
#Amazing
can I hire you
Where’s the bed?
Is that carpentry or something i need to get in that field
Hahaha I saw this on a stolen Facebook video. This edit music overlap was hilarious
One step at a time :) well create a wonderland at our home
Jemand von Justin hier?
Came here because of tiktok
Just imagine after all of this work, an extreme weather came by and destroys the house. Well, for those smartass, idk where they live.
@@webbervs omfg chill
@@beepboop9285 Lmao idk why I posted that 🤣
@@webbervs lol
or he lives in the midwest and his kids are mostly indoors during winter
He lives in the pacific northwest, we dont get too much house-destorying inclement weather (he lives down the street from me)
Where has this been all my life?
