They are not bugs. They are but a seam in the collision of the models, or visually appealing geometry, that players found unintended purpose to traverse out of bounds. So it's mostly a developer oversight.

And much loved on geforce now and on steam, for those who have never played it recover it absolutely. There for xbox 360 and xbox one. Given that the xbox one is backward compatible.

My issue with some of these fixes is they limit the way you are able to interact with the map which makes it less fun. They should have left it the way it is in campaign mode but fix it for vs mode.

For anyone wondering why they'd fix these: Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 have pretty competitive communities, many of it's modes have competitive scoring (Versus, survival, scavenge, ect), and achievements that are meant to be hard for the non competitive modes (Expert realism, ect). As such, these areas of the maps needed to be fixed to level the playing field, reducing the visual gap between a normal player and a experienced one. Making sure you follow the intended path. And preventing use of god/jesus rooms in which the AI cannot physically path to you, making you invincible even when afk.
#6 was actually done to prevent survivors from going back to camp inside the starting saferoom during the event, the boosting block is probably just a coincidence.

To be fair, if the speed runner was going by himself, and made it. He is pretty good. However, if you die with 2 people by your side you are pretty fucking ass in the first place.
This is why og is better. Horror action, has an atmosphere, But more importantly, you can use the mechanics up to your advantage if you study them, which makes left 4 dead miles away from your average call of duty with zombies. Also, trick that was removed is multi lifting.
It's both acceptable (for virtue and promise that Valve wouldn't yank out content) and unacceptable (for this and the fact that the content from l4d1 are all available on l4d2) for Valve to not delist the first left 4 dead.
The old school L4D1 miss me . When we started to play people showed us, it was kind of mandatory to progress and those who managed to do a good race were rewarded, because it was very satisfying
What are the commands to see these barriers and grids? Also 25 still works on L4D2 just on a different angle, you gotta hit that angle for you to slide purposefully and hit the ground, then you just safely heal as there won't be any sort of infected spawned near you anyway.
Some of the bugs shouldn't be fixed, as you gain so little on them... but again, if everything was the very same people would complain of a half assed game...

I love how the developer fixed the bugs by adding/removing props.

You forgot in the first level you can skip the building by jumping off onto a vent. They removed that vent in l4d2
