Almost looks like spar got re-paved since I was last on it almost 10 years ago. Not the sharpest footage though. Miss these mid AZ roads on my RSV. Jerome without traffic was always a blast!
"....listening to Miley Cyrus in his headphones...." LOL. I can't imagine the shame of having someone stop to help me up and I have to tell them I got that blasting in my helmet 🤣
The horn honk is to cover the Fbombs hahaha. Its added in post... Im not honking. The bike doesnt even have a horn on her. Guess I gotta change that up.
great video thank you. i have a r6 for the track and i am thinking of this one as an add-on also for track. my question is are these easy to maintain and repair? thank you
The RC51? Yeah, they're easy to work on and maintain. The problem is finding parts. Part selection is getting thinner and thinner. Super fun bike though.
there are only 2 bike that sounds nearly as good as the RC51. R1M and the RSV4 both with an Akrapovic fitted if you ever want to hit some REAL roads on and RC51 let me know, come to Switzerland and take 1 of mine out in the mountains, 1 of the biggest underrated Bikes in todays market
RC 51s are great bikes with some mods they are even better, they really feel like a race bike, sound amazing but you just can’t expect modern day performance out of them. My old SP2 one down to up 520 conversion, full exhaust, power commander dyno tune (116hp) and my buddies stock 06 R6 would pull me over about 80 mph once he got it spun up.
Totally agree. The performance (Not too mention the modern electronics and riders aids) of late model bikes are just amazing! R6 is a great package…. Just sold my ‘07 r6 track bike and already regretting it haha. Thanks for the comment!
I have 25 sportbikes and of them, my 03 999 and 02 RC-51 are my favorites. The 999 has a bit of an edge as it just corners like it’s on rails. Good to see a track guy making street videos. Many of these street riders who think they are fast, get on the track and see just how unskilled they are. But watching you corner while in a higher gear and the guy ahead of you looks like he’s working so hard. lol Nice job and keep her sunny side up. These are gonna be worth some money. 🤙
I’m about to break your heart…. I just sold the rc51 lol. I have owned that bike for 17 years… was just time for something different. Great bike though, I hope I don’t regret it. Thanks for the watch and the comment!
Are those stock forks? I noticed you have them pushed up pretty far thru the triples. What size rear tire you running ? The last time I was able to get away w pushing my forks up so high thru the triples I was running a 180 rear tire.
@@Motophileo ok. With a similar setup on my 03 RC It would feel like I was going to tuck the front in longer decreasing radius knee down type of turns. How much do you weigh if you don't mind me asking ? I'm thinking I may be too heavy for my stock spring.
Im about 170 give or take. Yeah I could see that. The front end can feel nervous at times depending on the corner but for me I feel better with that than really having to force the bike into a corner.
It got hotter than than Satan's furnace by late June here, and never gave up. I didn't even take one spin on my RC. Yea, sad but true. You that ride know how hot they get, and how uncomfortable it is.
Man its so cool seeing someone film in Prescott area. Ill have to meet up with you someday finallly got a bike i can take on the street
Heck yeah! Come out and ride! Bring an action cam if you have one!
I Used To Live In Cottonwood. Prescott Was Chill As A Fan!
As a British rider, your roads look like racetracks. So smooth, no pot holes, we have pit holes.
Don’t worry man, we have a ton depending on where you are.

That Road Goes So Hard! It Was One Of My Favorites When I Lived Out In Arizona!
Definitely a road worth riding! So glad it’s in my local town!
Why do you keep using your horn all the time??
The horn honk is to cover the Fbombs hahaha. Its added in post... Im not honking. The bike doesnt even have a horn on her. Guess I gotta change that up.
Better than nodding. I don't care for the nodding.

@@Motophileo unless you've gotten so old where it physically hurts to ride it, you'll regret it. They always do lol
nice ride, I love Wilhoit thru white spar

Yeah, stock forks. 190/55 on the rear. Dan Kyle link and the forks adjusted for better turn in. For a heavy pig she handles pretty damn good.
