What’s up my beautiful people! I wanted to update you on my pre run routine lately. I never used to do any warm ups before going out for my run but since I'm having some posterior shin issues I've changed things up and am sharing what I do pre run! Let me know your warm up routine and what else I should add to mine. Let's get it, let's gooo!

Definitely interested in hearing your strategy with shin issues. I started running in October. Its been about 3 months now and in that time I've faced and gotten over major heel pain, IT band syndrome in my knee.. and now I am starting to notice some ankle / shin problems flaring up. I'm all eyes and ears on how to handle stuff like this especially since you just keep going everyday.
Check out kneesovertoes . I’ve had a range of injuries from Achilles’ tendon rupture , shin splints , knee pain and winged scapula and it has improved my running speeds .
I’ve had so much improvement in my runs after I added this to my warm up routine. Thanks, my dude!
How much do you rest between sets?
@@jim41184 I don’t rest in between sets I just alternate between them back-to-back. This might not work for you or other runners it depends on your fitness level/intention of the run.
Experiment around and listen to your body.

Can you do these barefoot or is there a reason you're wearing shoes?
I just do it after I’ve gotten ready and right before I leave to run but you can definitely do them barefoot!
