Rode Oban to Glasgow on my Brompton last year, which was magical. Will go back to Scotland next year hopefully with my touring bike - 26" wheels and 631 frame which is still a good performer 25 years on. Tyre choices getting less each year though! Best rides - did Lon las Cymru last year which was the most awesome ride I've ever done in the UK, so far. If the stars align, I might be taking my Brompton to the Faroes later this year, with a few days in hand to explore. I really hope that works out!

Love this video, some really interesting answers and information, ride safe, already cant wait for the next video :) im riding my brompton from York UK to amsterdam and back via ferry in may and i cant wait (despite some people telling me the brompton is the wrong tool for the job)
Great video. I’m thinking of buying a steel framed adventure bike. Currently looking at the Fairlight Secan but also considered the Temple adventure bike. Do you have a view on the Fairlight or are there other brands I should be thinking of? I am looking to spend about £3K
Hi thanks for watching and your comment 🙌 Both the fairlight and Temple are good bikes. The Fairlight is made out 853 tubing and the Temple is 725 tubing so the 853 frame will be a little stiffer whilst the 725 will be a balance of comfort and performance. So that depends on what you want. It’s worth looking at Mason Cycles Exposure bike too. Little more expensive but the frames are made in Italy. Hope that helps.
