It’s like I said some artists you connect with some you don’t. I go places like Texas, Oakland and Vegas and a artist like AZ wouldn’t be major there. I think you would agree AZ is nice and got classics under his belt so that’s just the way it is unfortunately.

But It's disheartening to know how many people may not know the extent of impact that Quik has had on not only West Coast rap, but the rap/hip hop industry in general.
