When I do asparagus I put the asparagus in a ziploc bag, add olive oil & seasonings, ziploc bag & shake. Or roll back & forth till coated, then put on baking pan. Works well.
Ya that sounds great too. My family just started liking it like this. I will give the garlic and lemon a try next year. Lol God bless thanks for watching
The top part of The Pineapple stock The green part cleanses your kidneys also just make sure you wash it in some hot water and baking soda to cleanse it and put a gallon of filer water in a pot and boil it about 30 minutes
I cook asparagus the same way except for the butter which I find to be a very good idea. Last time I cooked asparagus I kept the lower part for a potage. After cooking I passed them in my blender. Very creamy. It turned to be a good idea. It was very good. Thank you for sharing.
Oh, thank you so much. This video almost never got uploaded. David didn't think anyone would like for some reason. I'm so glad he posted it. We have gotten so much love from it and met so many new friends. God bless you and yours
Thank you so much. Do you grow your own asparagus? I haven't figured out how to grow it. I know it takes a long time to get going. God bless you and your family
I'm glad. That's my second favorite part of the morning. Letting my Christopher put is the best. He is my baby. well he just turned 31 but still a great big boy. Have a great day and God bless
I am so glad you can have crispy asparagus. I hate the soft squishy limp stuff. Thank you so much for the compliment. I really appreciate it. God bless to you and yours
That is a great question. I think making sure it is preheated and that is probably it. As long as you can get the heat up enough, I don't see why it wouldn't work. Sorry for the delay we have had a lot of sickness in our house. God bless you and yours. Let me know how it turns out.
@@cookingonthefarm honestly you're fine. I get the sickness part, God bless you and your family too. Hope your family gets to feeling better and stays strong.
Melt the butter with garlic in it and add it to the asparagus, then when almost done add Parmesan cheese to it and put back in oven for 2 to 3 minutes 😉👍
Thanks i had to make another batch just so i could have one or two. my husband hats asparagus even enjoys when I make it this away. Have a great and God bless to you and yours
Oh. Thats a tough one... Well, if I have leftover asparagus, I turn it into a quiche. Other than that, it goes limp. I don't mind it that much so it's not a big deal to me. it won't be crispy at all. Sorry, that's not the best answer ever. Thats all I have for you. Have a great day I hope that helps. God bless
Oh, great question. Yes, you can it won't get crisp it will stay limp. I would make a foil tray and have the asparagus sitting on it so it can crisp up. Good luck. Let me know how it works and if you have any more questions. God bless
Its not, wax paper can melt in the oven. at least it does for me. Parchment paper is heat resistant. I hope that helps. I know sometimes parchment will darken around the edges but its better than ruin your pan. God bless have a great week
Sorry we didn't have that set in our description it has now been updated, I know at about 4min 50 seconds in we do mention we set our oven to 450 degrees. I will also make sure to update it in the description for easier access to the details. Thank you so much God bless.
That's a great question. The only guess I have is that your oven wasn't warm enough. And they do shrink just a little bit. I try to get the small ones about the size of a pencil. If the temp doesn't help let me know again and I will try to troubleshoot for you. God bless
Great recipe for asparagus! Even better was the tip on wrinkling parchment! Now I’m done fighting it. Thanks!
Oh im so glad you like the tip. I love that it works for all shapes. Have a great Easter weekend God bless

hmmm....I also use garlic and lemon zest...but this looks good
Ya that sounds great too. My family just started liking it like this. I will give the garlic and lemon a try next year. Lol God bless thanks for watching
Best tip ever: snap the asparagus! That got rid of those woody stalks! Thank you! I followed your instructions and the asparagus was delicious!
Oh Im so glad it turned out for you. Let me know if you try anything else. God bless to you and yours.

I'm sure that if you held them lower they would then snap at a lower point.
That is true but they will be Woodyear and my family doesn't like them that way. God bless
@@cookingonthefarm Some peel those lower parts

I'm glad. That's my second favorite part of the morning. Letting my Christopher put is the best. He is my baby. well he just turned 31 but still a great big boy. Have a great day and God bless

Hey, what would you recommend changing or adjusting this recipe for a toaster oven?
That is a great question. I think making sure it is preheated and that is probably it. As long as you can get the heat up enough, I don't see why it wouldn't work. Sorry for the delay we have had a lot of sickness in our house. God bless you and yours. Let me know how it turns out.

what’s the best way to save leftover asparagus? (after cooked)
God bless
LOL! VG! No Garlic???

No peel?

Could You wrap the Asparagus in Tin Foil and cook on a grill?
Oh, great question. Yes, you can it won't get crisp it will stay limp. I would make a foil tray and have the asparagus sitting on it so it can crisp up. Good luck. Let me know how it works and if you have any more questions. God bless
I am Vonder. Do you pell them or no? .
Hi. No I just cut the ends off. Thank you for your question. Have a great weekend. God bless
Thanks .
Is parchment paper the same as wax paper?🤔

Ok thank you for your feed back. God bless your family.
I don't like that burnt taste either. good going.
Sometimes it's a fine line to cooking to not get the burnt taste. God bless

hi! welcome to the farm. Have a great day and God bless to you and yours
Peel them . Don't snap them off . Waste not want not .
That is a good tip. I just dont like the woody ness even when you peel them. The scraps dont get wasted they go to the animals. God bless
Mine always shrinks idk why. Can you tell me why they shrinks. They look like skinny pencils
That's a great question. The only guess I have is that your oven wasn't warm enough. And they do shrink just a little bit. I try to get the small ones about the size of a pencil. If the temp doesn't help let me know again and I will try to troubleshoot for you. God bless
turn the music off. it isn't needed please!
I'm so sorry you can't hear it. I hadn't gotten my microphone yet, so the sound was a little harder to work with. Sorry again. God bless
Bloody awful music
Great recipe
