I make it just like this except I use my indoor grill. I like to also add lemon pepper seasoning or lemon herb butter, and of course drizzle fresh lemon juice on it when it's done. 😋
This is how I roast my asparagus as well except I use both garlic and onion powder. I also zest the lemon and add sprinkle it on the asparagus a few mins before it is done cooking and finish it with the juice of the lemon wedge. So good! 😋
Large piece diced potatoes (1/2 inch cubes). Melt Garlic and butter. Dip potatoes in garlic butter, put on foil lined pan bake for 20-30 minutes at 350degrees. Potatoes should be browned when they are done. Enjoy…. You can do this with any vegetable.
Good question, Tamera! Asparagus is done when the texture is crisp-tender, but not mushy. You should be able to pierce through it with a fork, but it shouldn't be wilted or fall apart when you poke it. The color will turn from bright green to a slightly duller green, but don't wait for it to be completely dull, if that makes sense. You can see how it looks when done in the video. Hope this helps!

I like to use lemon pepper with asparagus. I don't always have fresh lemon on hand.
That’s delicious too!
Hi Trisha rofe here new Zealand I would cook asparagus with salmon iam going to grill aspragras next time I buy some from supermarket
Just right! If I have it, I’ll sprinkle some grated Monterey Jack cheese w/jalapenos…. ;-)
Sounds delicious!
How can I tell when the asparagus is cooked. Your video indicates we should bake in a 400 oven for between 12 and 20 minutes depending on size.
