It would be interesting to run this scenario with the exact same Civs in the same places on the same map with the resources in the same positions like 100 times. Goal being to see if random generators in the AI or if individual civilization starting advantages caused the winners. In other words, with all the same starting conditions would Scotland win again and again or would there be wins across many other civilizations?

Can you make nations fight in Africa like you did with Europe, but with city states and without mods please.
The Dutch, English, Phonecians, Brazilians, Germans, Norwegians and Japanese had buffs or unique naval units to help them out, especially the Japanese, Dutch and Phonecians. Also whoever got the fishing boat pantheon could've done really well.
Scotland might be the only one that could generate any extra science, since the only way is palaces. Scotland makes 5/10% more science if a city is happy/ecstatic.
