Advice, click on the country and you will see the flags of other nations in their menu. When you click the other nations flags you will be able to see their relations with other countries.
There’s also an option for the game to announce updates on wars, villages and leaders

@@matthewpatrick7964 they need to eat their favorite food, so for example if your kings favorite food is tea, you need to have a good surplus of ingredients for tea in your kingdom to have a higher chance of a happier king
Drew the people with banners are generals, and when you see them there are typically people behind them. Those are soldiers. As long as a nation has an army, they then automatically have one general per village. Also, population does not effect military. You can go to kingdoms and see their military count. Typically nations and villages who have militaristic government types have stronger militaries. The only thing effected by population is the maximum manpower they can carry, which is displayed as well, so normally a nation will have like 31/60 army count. That means manpower/total manpower possible
you can turn on angry villagers so villagers can join the fight too but it will be a mass m*rder

Yes, rebellions are a thing. Villages can also vote to peacefully be annexed, that is why you sometimes saw nations just disappear. But if they get invaded they will most likely revolt.

One reason Kazakhstan keeps having rebellions is if a kingdoms becomes too big. Then revolts will constantly happen until the kingdom size goes down. Or a king has enough administrative power to keep it together.

The map design is actually quite fitting for the situation since in early times, the continents were connected together allowing easier colonization.

Tip: If you check were you can press village mode. You can aslo see a culture map mode. Its looks like a lightbulb This could explain why Siberia keeps rebelling as they have a separate culture than Kazakhstan.

I think the mods should make rebellions a bit harder, and also disable the thing that enables small nations to fight bigger ones. Finally villages can’t expand on lands disconnected from them and that’s a bit sad I find but maybe it’s hard to code
