    Great info for those who are starting out. Knowing what to look for is a very important step in the learning process for new riders so they can stay as healthy as possible and still have fun while learning to ride!! Injuries while riding, especially younger kids and adults, usually leads to the rider not wanting to get back on the bike because they get scared!! Good info brother...

      Definitely go with something you can stand over flat-footed. You will feel way more confident like the video said. I like my bikes a little smaller, they are lighter, I can toss them around, and pickup easier when I crash (yes you are going to crash about every time you go trail riding, something will happen unexpectedly or some puddle or rut will throw you and I've been riding 20 years). A smaller bike is just more fun I think too! A 110/125/150 is plenty of power

My dream pit bike is the crf110f but I know for sure I will never have that in my hands even. Especially when I can’t even buy a 500-600 dollar dirtbike like the Tao Tao or Apollo. I love looking at dirt and pit bikes they make me feel like one day I will get one. My dad can’t buy me one because he has bills and not only that we are in a bad situation right now. But who cares about what I got to say you make the best content and I love when you get a new dirt bike because it makes me feel like when I finally be able to work in 3 more years I will finally get a 600 dollar dirt bike. I know that my dream won’t come true about the crf110f. But that’s ok. Keep up the work you put in these videos. Have a good day.

      an older bike like that will have a pretty mean powerband if you haven't had a 2 stroke before, and its gonna take some getting used to. The 06 and 07's are practically built proof, and I'd say once you can comfortably wring the 230s neck or ride pretty hard, you'll be more than ready for the upgrade!

      A CRF230F has about 16-18 horsepower while a CR125 has about 40 horsepower. It also depends on how long you have ridden.

    • @Cookie-fe7mn
      @Cookie-fe7mn 4 роки тому +3

      @Super Wils Gaming that is not true man, it's a 2 stroke, witch makes it a much bigger challenge, I myself ride a cr 125 and I can tell you first hand that it is more unweildy than a 250 4 stroke as far as constant speed.

    • @Michael-lu2tz
      @Michael-lu2tz 4 роки тому

      David B.
      Max speed on a 230f is roughly in the 65-75 range but mostly depends on weight of rider and overall body shape. Mostly down to drag and aerodynamics

    Just upgraded from a 2012 TTR 125 to a brand new 2022 CRF250F and it was definitely well worth it because of the fuel injection. For all of the beginner riders out there: if you have outgrown your 125 and you don't like the sensitivity of the race bikes then the CRF250F is definitely the way to go. Btw great vid!

      @@zoraideale3658 yes if you arent crazy about going fast and hitting jumps. I just got a 2019 CRF250R last december because I quickly outgrew the CRF250F's power and wanted to hit some jumps. The CRF250F didn't feel cramped out all for me and I'm 6'4. Although the CRF250R is a great beginner race bike if you do want to hit jumps though.

    If there's one thing I'd change about these trail bikes it's that I wish changing the suspension was way easier. Learning to jump for me began with casing tabletops but the suspension always limited me. That's when I got a race bike, and on the first day of riding that bike I crashed because I wasn't ready for the racing capabilities. Sure yes I got lucky and only got some scabs but still it would have been way better for me to learn on a trail bike with upgraded suspension
