Alrighty, some people seem to be confused so let me explain. The movie Coco started the process of production back in 2011, as most animated movies begin production years before they actually end up releasing due to the sensitivity of Disney’s animation. Coco was released in 2017, and at that time, Anthony Gonzales was only 12. Some people are saying that he was with the crew since 2011, but that’s impossible because Anthony was only a small child. He wouldn’t have been able to do all of that production, so it’s more likely that they took him in in 2016 or 2015 for vocals (around the age of 10 or 11), which would be good reasoning for why he would be saying he was 10 when he recorded this.
An additional possibility is that this is an Anthony Gonzales impostor, someone who looks similar to him but isn’t him. This isn’t uncommon for look-alikes to be either paid or use their appearance to gain views or money from people and it happens often (Such as that era where multiple Michael Jackson impersonators attempted to falsify his death’s credibility). It’s not entirely confirmed, because the movie Coco has lost a lot of popularity since its release. Either way, be careful with the information you gain online, not everything is going to be entirely accurate.
