- hello everyone, up today my NEW natural setup which is actually 6months old but i feel its complete now so has only just been "finished"
it also happens to be multi species with
formica fusca
tetramorium caespitum
myrmica rubra
acorn ants
and maybe stronglonaphys
hope you enjoy
Wow so good setup amd you have so many SPECIES in them , i have a dream to keep a setup like this
I can watch the setup the whole day
Stunning tank buddy. I love the interactions between the colonies and the tank is really popping off. You need to get some salamanders, those will deal with the newts 😀. Could try adding a little water area with a large water dish for it or something - love the tank man it’s really nice ❤️❤️
What a beautiful tank nice to see so many species living together
Thankyou mate :)
you should add some France species so thee can eat the slugs🤣
How do you hibernate the ants ? Wonderful tank btw 😊
will likely stick them in the garage with the lights still on for the plants. if not a cool window. will take 2 people to move though as it weights a ton. thanks for watching :D
what do you use to keep the ants in? I have a 4 foot tank that I will do something similar with, but I want to know what is best as a barrier
Mine are in a giant fish tank, love it I use quick dry ptfe, the white stuff.
