Great review. I like the habitude but passed due to the lack of a second door. I camp in all four seasons and I need the warmth in winter and the ventilation options in the summer. I also need a reliable tent in windy conditions so I purchased the six person base camp tent from REI several years ago and it is my favorite tent because it has two doors with zippered screened windows and a similar pole structure of the habitude. If msr would combine the habitude and habiscape, they would have the perfect tent!
Thanks. I can see it both ways. I agree that the Habitude would be better with the two doors, and if you are camping in all four seasons I would definitely want the Habitude as well.
I actually have the Habitude 4 and love it , even for winter camping here in Québec. But I saw the Habiscape a year later and was wondering if it would have been a better choice for me . After your great review , I will stick to my tent , even though a second door for more ventilation would have been great , but you made me notice the difference in the poles structure, wich I didnt knew from looking at the description in outdoor stores online. I prefer to have the most solid structure for my 4 seasons use . @@olivierflhd6965 salut , je n'ai jamais regretté mon choix après ces années , la tente est solide et le grand vestibule super pratique . Une option est d'attendre pour les rabais de fin de saison si tu peux te permettre d'attendre ou au boxing day , souvent des bons prix
I live in a warmer climate hence went for the Habiscape and it's been a banger so far. I've got to say, a hybrid between the two would simply be perfect!

Do any of them have a black out inner tent that can be purchased separately?
The dome is really shot and does not touch ground. Can any rain fall to sleeping area?
MSR quality is sht. Do not buy this crap. They have a huge amount of customer complaints.
