have you considered making a video where you go in depth on your detailing/decorating process? your building looks fantastic and i'd love to see the different techniques you used and the process of how you think about it
I have now! Thank you very much for the suggestion. I will definitely consider a follow-up video explaining more about the design process. That could be a fun one.
This is amazing man! You don't need to defend how you play the game at all either. This game is intended to be played however the player wants to play it, not how reddit gremlins want to play it. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing what you did and did NOT care how far your progression is. Genuinely can't wait to see your next build!
Hell yeah, I recommend using mods that add props like 'More Decorations' or 'Factory Props'. While they don't actually function, adding some sort of control panel to them makes the machines look more convincing. Happy building!
I'd like to see a transport logistic for your base. Im having trouble with moving materials in my game and it would be nice to see how you handle it for a big base like that.
I am currently using 14 mods that add deco: Fire Smoke and Water, Blocks, Factory Props, DI More Glass and Stuff, Gateways Extensions, 2m Walls, Modern Railings, Decoration, DI More Lights, Decorative Rocket Thrusters, More Beams and Pillars, Structural Solutions, More Decorations, and Cheap Lights. The big important ones are 'Factory Props' by SpaceGameDev, 'Decorate' and 'More Decorations' by Andre Aquilla and 'Structural Solutions' by D4rk
Ah the ADHD life. Have you ever gotten lost in the details when creating something? Spent a disproportionate amount of time creating something you knew was temporary?
I just finished a 6 hour assembling factory for like 5 different components, only it ended up being exclusively a modular frame factory... are you running any mods? I'm new and wondering what those blue things are over your belts that display input, throughput and output
Nah, this is unbelievable, if you are willing to put in this much time and effort into a starter base ill just sit here watching in awe.
There is no “over doing it” in Satisfactory. What you have created is a masterpiece.

Which mod adds the fence gates?
That would be 'Structural Solutions' by D4rk. Lots of good stuff in that one.

I am! Currently running over 60 mods. The throughput readouts are from 'Efficiency Checker Mod'. Very handy. @ehzytheg
