Love your message. Frugality is majorly underrated. “Live like no one else today and you’ll live like no one else tomorrow” - Dave Ramsey. That’s been me and my husbands motto for 20+ years (we’re in our early 40’s now) and it has “paid” off. So much pressure when you’re younger to keep up, nah!
Almost 27, if your 25 and under you're super young. Stay out of debt and budget hard. Don't waste away your money on materials and liabilities. Wish i was 20 again with the financial knowledge I have now. Its never too late, just a harder hill to climb the longer you wait to get on track.
This is the truth. I'm 36 and just about paid off all my debt. I invested a few thousand into an IRA, but I need to keep contributing, and taking care of my mental health. My physical is fine, but everything he said rains true with me. Employers do NOT CARE. Your health and your family. Also making your money work while you sleep, aka invest
Learning this now, finally paid off my truck early on my 25 birthday. Got rid of almost alllll debt and completely paid off some land, can’t wait to finish working off this debt and get my life started.
I'm 18, what's some basic financial knowledge you could share with me? I'm opening up my established credit account next week, gonna start building up my credit. & in spring I plan to get a motorcycle & use the bills from that to build my credit. I have some small invesetments in some penny stocks to get an idea of what the market is like. So far just got a better job, been saving up my money. Been doing car detailing whenever there's work to do, resellin shit online, etc. Money that's saved is just for emergency funds, bills, and I've been pouring in a little to the detailing biz. Anything I'm doing wrong here? I'd say I spend the most amount of money on gas lol
Turned 18 this year, and work 2 jobs. I appreciate this advice from somebody who done been there and done that, and is willing to share their experience. Thank you and loved the vid !
I truly believe the reason why time moves faster the older you get is because as you get older you’re so used to life’s tasks and doing repetitive things as to when you were younger and things were new to you and doing different things all the time. It’s like doing a lot of stuff and looking at the clock at work and it zooms every time you glance at it. Why do you think starting a new job your days go by so slow? The key to slowing down time is to do new and different things. This year I finally broke that repetitive cycle and started trying to do new things and living in the moment instead of working non stop. It’s not healthy so I changed it up and voila! This year has been so long for me. I’m 32 and I finally know how to slow time down. I think this needs to be spread out to everyone.
Agree. Also quitting alcohol/drinking really slows things down. If you stop drinking and redirect your attention from socializing to learning things and improving yourself - time really slows down. I did both of those things this year - and it's by far the longest year I've lived in a very very long time.
I’m 27 now and this has always been my perspective since I was like 15-18, when time really started flying by for me. That’s why traveling I love to travel whenever I can, especially to different countries.

Beautiful advice bud I really appreciate it. I’m 22 and not sure what career path to take once I graduate. I worked 4 internships in accounting and investment firms and work part time in investment management right now as I finish off some courses at university. I spoke with the CEO and CCO of a lending company and impressed them, leading to a job offer for an underwriting position once I graduate from university. However, I enjoyed a plant growing job at my family’s greenhouse back in 2021. It’s strange because I like plant growing, yet it’s not mentally stimulating enough for me. On the other hand, being in an office for too long gets me depressed since I love to be outside. I’ll try to work out a plan to do the underwriting and grower job at different times of the year since both are seasonal. Great video lots for me to consider!

I turned 26 just a few weeks ago. As a child, I had my life planned out. I thought I'd be in grad school by this time, married, and with a house. Unfortunately, I dropped out of college, have never been in a relationship (and unsure of how to get into one), and nowhere near financially stable enough to own a house. It isn't because I made bad decisions. I just have chronic psychiatric illnesses that have stopped me from progressing in life. It breaks my heart, and I'm starting to lose hope. To have your life mapped out and not have met a single goal or dream of yours is draining. I am starting to feel lost and purposeless. It's easy for people to say, "Don't give up," but I haven't given up since the day I was born; it's just getting harder and harder to "just keep swimming." I know women my age who are already married, have a career, and children whereas I have absolutely nothing going on for me. Whenever I try to get back up, I make progress, but then I fall right back down. It's exhausting, and I'm not sure how much more I can take before I stay down.
Im in my 30s (31 almost 32 in a few months) and wish i was 21 again holy shit...but, this may be the best decade of my life. Just like my 40s ...and 50s...

I’m 18 years old and I’ve been very stressed and confused on what I’m going to do with my life this video has greatly helped me I really appreciate this advice thank you.
That fact that you're here shows you are going the right path.

MAKE MISTAKES, LEARN AND GO CHASE THAT DREAM.
I’m currently 23 and I’ve been in the worst slump of my life. No purpose no sure where I’m going to end up and working for a boss I despise. I’ve just very recently been trying to straighten up my finances and get my health in check and watching this has put a fire under my ass that I needed to keep moving forward thank you for sharing this advice I’m definitely going to put it to use!
Let’s go dude!!✌🏻
Same here man, I think most people our age are in some sort of slump like this, I’m slowly getting out of it though and you will to, just be humble, take care of yourself and respect your present and your future self
Bought a house at 23. Sold it 12 years later for £100k profit. Live closer to my two amazing daughters and took up majority custody. Bought a nice car, paid rent for the year and still have over £50k left, debt free, decent enough job, can take my kids anywhere. Can easily save up now and get compounding interest as well.

I'm so grateful to see this in my 20s. It's no coincidence-it’s a sign to start making smarter financial decisions now so I can enjoy life later. Going to bars with friends is like burning money, and our 20s are the prime time to lock in. Distractions will come, but we need accountability to stay purpose-driven and perform at our best. Thanks for this video 🙏

Almost 27, if your 25 and under you're super young. Stay out of debt and budget hard. Don't waste away your money on materials and liabilities. Wish i was 20 again with the financial knowledge I have now. Its never too late, just a harder hill to climb the longer you wait to get on track.
@@Xzavyuh absolutely. Hell even at 45 in still super young. I appreciate you!

Get after it man. Stay away from the stuff and be patient and good things will come! Thank you!! I appreciate you and hope you have a wonderful day!
That’s an awesome perspective! I appreciate you. Have a wonderful day!
Thank you for this.
Im 21 and listened to this after work thank you I needed this you'll never know how many people you've inspired💪🏼💯

Thank you!!✌🏻
