    I get why the detectives are waiting her out, but it’s so bizarre the way Boone is trying to wait them out as if she has ANY power in that room. It’s also amusing that the detectives are just chilling and texting, waiting for her next burst of self- snitching.

      My guess is people have often given her that control in the past, just so they don't have to deal with her anymore. She acts utterly appalled when the detectives don't give her the feedback she wants. My favorite parts in this interrogation are when the two detectives just sit in dead silence. She couldn't help but fill the silence by trying to guess what they were thinking/doing/planning. I keep saying to myself, "keep digging that hole, Sarah!"

      I'm hoping the prosecutor brings this up to show a pattern for one, but since DFS was brought into it - that will show she already knew doing this was wrong. Also, it proves she lies because when asked if she would put her son in one, she answered "no".
      I wouldn't care so much but it's proven by her own video that she did this & the video proves he was clearly in distress.
      Also, she's an abuser herself, but she's going to claim battered wife just to get off. NO remorse & her entitled attitude. And to top it off, she tried to use her son when it suited her. Until those moments she doesn't care about him. So she's just horrible all around.

      Everyone should have a lawyer while talking to the police about a crime. An innocent person might say something that could be taken as meaning they were involved. A lawyer has experience with knowing how to say things correctly to protect innocent people. Innocent until proven guilty.

    • @KS-PNW
      @KS-PNW Рік тому +2

      I say this as someone whose worked in law enforcement and as someone who grew up in a "cop family.". You should never talk to the police without a lawyer, ESPECIALLY if your innocent.
      I can't tell you how many times I heard that growing up (from Sheriff's deputies, municipal police officers and federal agents all in the family). In a few years I'm going to have the same conversation with my nieces and nephews.
      Thankfully they're still young enough that I have a bit of time but I swear that's good advice and we tell our family members that for a reason..
      (Just to clarify, it's not that law enforcement is trying to screw innocent people over but it happens disturbingly often. The average person hasn't had much experience talking to law enforcement whereas we've trained and spent hundreds of hours on interrogation tactics. Things are starting to improve but for a long time the general consensus was "an innocent person would never confess to something they didn't do.". We now know that , that's just not true.
      We're also only human. Sometimes we make mistakes and get tunnel vision. That can easily lead to an unlucky innocent person getting into a world of hurt despite everyone involved having good intentions)

      I think he was intellectually challenged and she used manipulation to get him in there. Probably just by telling him how “funny” it would be or to just see if he could fit. People are looking at this situation from their own perspective but if you had an intellectual disability or even just low intelligence it would be so much easier for a manipulative and malevolent person to convince you to do something against your own best interests.

    It's funny how being quiet is just too much for her. She can't help herself. She's got to keep saying SOMETHING, anything. And she's so offended that they think she would DO something like this. And her saying that her having to think of and know what happened and do without Jorge was punishment enough! LOL And it doesn't matter if she intended to kill him or not. She STILL did it. And that was a crime that led to another human being's life. Smh. And my favorite is Reese's Blizzard (cups, not pieces!). I don't think erasing the footage on her phone would have helped because I think the tech guys would still be able to find the videos in the storage/hard drive, just like on a pc. At least I think so.

    See this is a cautionary tale of why you shouldn't stay in an abusive relationship. Shit happens and it doesn't end well, for both people.

    • @bethanychatman9531
      @bethanychatman9531 4 місяці тому

      True, but most people aren't always aware they're in an abusive relationship until it's too late and then it takes so much strength and different circumstances to leave. Some people are isolated slowly from friends and family making the abuse and grip on that person worse and more intense. Do i think this is what happened to sarah, no. I do however with the evidence we have think this is what happened to jorge.

  • @usmcamerican8201
    @usmcamerican8201 Рік тому +4

    Total revenge act made possible by Alcohol. From what I’ve read, most likely they were upstairs and around 10:45 PM, with Sarah and Jorge both heavily intoxicated and fighting, Sarah somehow temporarily rendered Jorge unconscious maybe with her son’s baseball bat (This may account for the contusions about his head). Then somehow she was able to place his small body in the large suitcase and fully zip it up. Then, around 11:10, she managed to roll the suitcase with him in it down the staircase. He regained consciousness sometime in the suitcase and is later seen begging for his life in the 2-minute video. In this video Sarah is shown sadistically mocking him in a heavily slurred voice while he is suffocating. Furthermore, her response to the detective’s question about why she did not let him out of the suitcase was “I’ll give you 5 minutes or so in there”. This clearly shows her intention was punishment accompanied by degrees of planning and cold-bloodedness. This along with the 2-minute video clearly establishes premeditation with malice of forethought some of the key aggravating elements necessary for a 1st degree murder conviction notwithstanding the mitigating influence of alcohol. PS Her suitcase story about Jorge moving it downstairs is a total fabrication necessary to erase her cruel act of rolling the suitcase down the stairs with him in it.
