I own 5 motorcycles. I've decided today that I am selling them all. I have no one else to go riding with and the small city I live in gets so boring driving around by myself. I went from loving the whole motorcycle thing when I started back in 2014, to having no desire to get back on one again not even one month after starting to ride again this spring/summer. For all you still riding, ride safe out there.
I don't get why you don't have more subscribers. Your humor, your scripting, editing and composition of a video is beyond other mediocre UA-camrs out there. I'm glad I found you bro, you make my day, I love my r6 and love riding it, I have so many ocds as you hahaha it's so funny. Thanks for your content man, cheers ✌🏻
I like your video's and just feel like commenting a few words for each tip. I think it's 50/50 good and bad. Feather the clutch and drag the rear brake, wash your hands with gasoline, cool stain fighter tip (if it works!), that's a great way to capture good audio, cardboard to keep the chain and any goo off the ground, great advice for fast-looking selfies, GP shifting... OK, super creative gopro mount reuse, hats, gasoline on a rag cleans grime off everything. Thanks for a slick 10 minute video!
Hey great video! One caveat though, I used to run my SnapBack through my belt loop all the time. Then I upgraded to a 2018 R1. The rear fairing started to get scuffed from my hat bouncing off it at high speeds. Just something to look out for.
I posted the GoPro and sand paper tip under previous video. I'm glad it worked for you as well. For the tip #4: a $5 digital stereo voice recorder from China. Hit "record" on both, tap recorder against GoPro few times (to easily match audio tracks in post) then what you did - wrap it in a small towel (so it wouldn't bounce) and put under the pillion. Works great. You get stereo recording of traffic for free and it works well with footage of passing something that emits sound.
Great video, as always ! Here is a quick hack too. When the holes in my license plate started to brake from vibration, I used the sticky 3m adhesive from the GoPro to hold it in place and it did not only kept it there for years on my cbr, but also absorbed a lot of vibration from my fender eliminator. So, now on my s1000r , I out some in the back just in case. If your country gives you shitty license plates made out of tinfoil, and ask you to pay for a replacement WHEN you lose it, the this might work for you. Also works to fix it to the under tail without fender eliminator for extra clean look. But that is illegal.in most places.. lights and other stuff apparently are required... :) Love the video, super fun. Cheers!
the video quality and editing are just... more than perfection? Just please show me more of that bike. It has the most beatifull color I've ever seen on an r1! Love how it sparkles in the sun
Funny thing about the shifter tip: My first bike has a reverse N-4down shifter, and when I switched to my sisters motorcycle she gave me as a gift I never once mis-shifted. I got so used to mine, but after 10 minutes normal 1-N-5 shift became perfectly normal too. I now have a third motorcycle and I switch between the three a random and I never have issues with forgetting. Although, one huge caveat is that my first bike is a 125 urban supermoto style bike, my sisters bike is a 250 cruiser, and my new bike is a Versys 300x ADV Touring bike... so most likely I never mess up because each bike feels entirely different. Still, I'd say if anyone wants to try it... GO FOR IT! I absolutely LOVE my reverse shifter and I wish every bike I own and plan to but would shift that way. A simple tap to shift up is much faster and easier, and then having your toe under feels more natural when braking and slowing. It just feels more natural in my opinion. I'm sure at least a few people will love it and keep it too.
About the reverse gear: I come from the time when it could be that way - and also on the other side - and it was a pain and dangerous, so I have a better solution: a double lever shifter with a heel shifter. It also has a collateral benefit for those of us who ride on the ball of our feet: we only have to lower our feet to shift down and it does not force you to learn a new way of shifting that could cause errors. I know this is something that's usually for cruisers and slow bikes, but you should really try it.
Your writing, camera work, and editing are top notch. You deserve far more subscribers. I really appreciate the content. Favorite hack: probably the microphone under the seat. I need to try it out on my bike.
Not only do I like your content I trust your content thanks to you and a couple of other guys I recently bought a 2021 MTO nine and I could not be happier! Thank you and keep up the good work
Yes, I'm 3 years late, but @1:28 the dish soap works best if you do not add water until after you rub the soap into the grease for 5 to 10 seconds. The you do not need sugar or salt for abrasion. Dawn dish soap is by far the best for cutting automotive type grease and oil. They used it on wildlife after the Exxon Valdez accident.
I use plain kerosene to clean my bike chain. I soak it for 5 minutes then brush off the remaining gunk using a used toothbrush. I use a bottle scrubber with a wire handle mounted on a power drill to clean the sprockets, using the same kerosene and a little soapy water. Love the GoPro audio jack.
Great editing and solid video. Absolute pleasure to view. Great sound hack. I’ll try it right away!! Also, re-watched the parking deck segments with the ISO set at 100. The bokeh was just right.
Hey bro I love ur vids so much, we live so far apart it will probably be 2024 by the time you read this (if u even do) but your content is great and I think everyone agrees that you are one of the best youtubers in terms of commitment, keep it up👍👍
So they make a product for washing oil and stuff like that off, it’s called fast orange, it’s basically just super thick hand soap mixed with sand paper, gets the oil off in like 5 minute
For dirty hands i just use detergent powder. The chalk and grit from the powder acts as an abrasive removing dirt from my hands. Ill try out the sugar and dishwashing liquid. Great hacks thank you as always!
Get orange goop for hand washing. Pleasant smell with pumice particles for getting all the gunk off. Way better than dish soap and sugar could ever hope to achieve. It has been my go to garage soap for over a decade.
My bike has a quickshifter does your r1? I'm guessing the quickshifter still works if you flip it to get the motogp shift pattern. I'm gonna have to try this on my new mt09
I’m a car mechanic and I definitely agree with the dish soap, I’ll have to try it with sugar but dish soap is awesome even by itself it does the best job.
Hey dude, awesome vids, LoL I had to give one a thumbs up as soon as i heard "best engine in the world" 😎.. Crossplane hell yeah! one day when I'm big from my YBR250.. though the single thumper is good fun 🤘
Hi, First of all, I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!!! PLease, keep it up! and a huge thank you for them! the second point, do you have any advice regarding safety? Like which lock do you use or recommend? Do you use those noisy 110dB alarms? Just searching right now which one should I get and the first though was.... hmmm, probably on CC channel there is a video about locks :) Thanks in advance!
I put a tiny bit of grit soap( enough for two people, one wash)in a ziplock baggie(the heavy duty freezer bags, so it doesn’t rip easily) and put it under the seat. Usually, on a ride I have to get a little dirty. Pull the soap out( most people have a bit of water for you to rinse, or use a bit of grass), and then wipe the remains on the inside of your pants cuffs.
The clear plasti-dip hack made me wonder if I could use that for my belly pan. The paint protection film I've been using gets torn up quite quickly and it's hard to apply without creases and bubbles. Plasti-dip may work better if I can get it thick enough.
Regarding the handwashing. Somwthing that also improves cleaning is applying the fluid soap to your dry hands. Works better than those sand soaps on wet hands for me
EPIC production & TIPS!!👏👏👍 Can't wait to try capturing the audio with my phone then syncing it in post!! Can you link or post the various mounts you use for your action cams?🤔 Also, do you tether for cam safety?
My 12 year old 110 cc honda has two modes, the "I will run, but only when I want to" and "I will not start at all today, you take the bus". Which one do I use for parking lot maneuvers?
I love your editing and presentation and your voice is very soothing, like you're a narrator for books. Anyway keep up the great videos, you're very underrated, you'll make it big if you keep doing what your doing
I recently bought myself a gsx R (apparently people think you're a douche when you own one of these though 🤔), it's my first bike after going through riding school and getting my license. This channel rocks!🤟🏻 Man's really putting in the work with all the GoPro tricks, and even staining his pants on purpose. Got a new subscriber right here! ✌🏻
Hi I love your content! Keep up the good work! About the best soap to use, the best one i usually use is the powder one for washing clothes with hands. :)
Cleaning tip, if I may- when in the Navy, I did ordnance on the F-18. Cleaning the gun and more was filthy. I found that then, and later in life- the product that got me dirty, also helped get me clean. For example, in the squadron, the can of clean lube sprayed on my dirty hands, helped to quickly get me clean.. And clean motor oil, cleaned my hands after changing my cars oil! 😎😁.
Thanks for the effort. I think I can use a hack or two. For greasy hands it pays off to plan ahead. Hand creme (do not use your GFs super expensive one) applied to the hands before starting the work keeps the grease from clinging too much to the skin. Deer tallow for car door seals or special products (biker glove) help too.
for syncing clips in resolve you only need to highlight your clips then right click / create multi cam clip or sync by audio i for get what the exact wording is but its will then analyze the audio on all your clips (including audio only clips) and make a multi cam clip out of them.
Sugar and washing-up liquid/dish soap is homemade swarfega. You can get it in most trade shops or DIY stores and swarfega usually does a better job, doesn’t dry out and damage your skin like washing-up liquid and leaves a nicer smell too.
Connect a mic to your phone for much better audio, use a trrs adaptor, a lavalier mic and an app if needed, I use Hi-Q Audio Pro, I do my maintenance vids this way. Or use a dedicated audio machine like a Zoom H1 many cheaper ones will do great audio too, especially with an external mic. I've also used these methods for my helmet cam too, but mic and mic placement is always key and as you most likely know, a right pain to get right, and any changes to any element (mic, it's placement and even a knew helmet) can cause a load of stress and test after failed test.
my wrist is my rain mode laundry powder works better than dish liquid, plus it also has the added ability of telling about all the new love bites (cuts) you got while working on bike
Nice hack with the phone recording. I did the exact same thing a few years ago but used a secondary camera. Results were.....kak lol. Going to try your phone version today.
"Put your bike into 'rain mode'" me who rides a dirtbike with only a killswitch :/
The keep your chain clean was funny
I have a daul sport so I have a couple buttons but definitely no rain mode. Hell I don't even have a tach
@@willitsurvive9598 my bike didnt even have lights...
then you shouldn't be riding in parking lots anyway lmaoo
Same
No fancy modes for my little bike.
It's either go or stop!
Mine neither. I thought to remove the seat and mount a toilet seat. Then my bike would have a commode seating.
Your editing is above and beyond and you're funny! It's crazy how you're not one of the top motorcycle youtubers yet
Getting there slowly
His not consistent with his videos to be a top you tuber takes too long uploading videos we want to see daily videos
I read ur comment and subscribed to this guy. I didnt even watch his video once.
Have you ever seen a FortNine video lol
I just read ur comment before watching the vid and instantly subbed and now im gonna watch the vid:)

Try offroad with a bike like the T700
My bike doesn’t have a Sexually Transmitting Disease or STD mode 😂
Hahaha :D
Luke G
Mine does :-(
Luke G must be one careful bike.
She haven't been ride much!
Just to know as a mechanic I use tide laundry dust to clean my hands try it next time it's the best solution and cheap
My favourite hack was the phone recording one :D
By the way I ride the CB190SS by Honda :D
Honestly, if you're not trying to buy am expensive microphone.... Badass
My favorite too. And I was just looking at motovlog equipment and for something to do with my old iphone. Win-win!
You can also run a padded mic under the seat from your go pro

Love the video, super fun. Cheers!
Try the powder detergent, its more effective to clean greasy hands. Add a little bit of water
Borax or Fast Orange works
Ajax, Comet, or Go-Jo.
Shampoo is also great. Of course the industry standard GoJo and Fast Orange are still the best.
Olive oil and salt
WD40
the video quality and editing are just... more than perfection? Just please show me more of that bike. It has the most beatifull color I've ever seen on an r1! Love how it sparkles in the sun

Man, really love this video, you don't only like motorbikes, but also how to make a great video. Thanks for this :)
+1 Suscriber from Spain :D

Actually - the first bike-hack-video that's not full of bs ! thanks!
Love the vids man really helpful hacks. these are my favourite videos they are always so well edited.
The phone under the seat! Genius!!!
Rain mode, nice sounding exhaust, reverse gear direction.

You're a very practical person 😇...that's why I love you and your videos
Hi! There may be something wrong with my bike if i use the shifter hack?
For the hand cleaner hack I use sunlight and washing powder for the abrasive bit, works really well too, nice vid CC
What if it's night time?
Your channel is perfect coz it's all south african products and roads etc so everything is especially accessible and not some weird american products👍
Amazing quality of videos . Good composition , which is not there in even videos of top moto vloggers . Love your work man .
The phone and gopro footage tip was huge! Thanks man. Wont need a seperate mic now.
Clear Plasti-dip is my favorite- good video 👍🏼
Powder laundry detergent works on washing the grease off your hands. I always keep some next to my sink in my garage!
Clear plasti dip on the rear light!!!
Brilliant 👍👍
Recording with a phone inside the seat was definitely my favorite. Always wondered how vloggers do that nice windless bike sound
You are the king of hacks. Even Ryan from FortNine tips his hat to you.
For dirty hands i just use detergent powder. The chalk and grit from the powder acts as an abrasive removing dirt from my hands. Ill try out the sugar and dishwashing liquid. Great hacks thank you as always!
The first one. I thought you were just going to say put it in the elevator.
I'm washing my hand with WipeOut dirt&stain remover. Works great with grease and smells good.
Brilliant quality and creativity. Cheers!

I’m a car mechanic and I definitely agree with the dish soap, I’ll have to try it with sugar but dish soap is awesome even by itself it does the best job.
for stains on your clothes : Non-chlorinated brake cleaner, it works pretty well and 1st try. Worked with a winter jacket, jeans and t-shirts

Ty for the tip on motorcycle exhaust audio!
The gopro on the socket wrench is awesome

Sugar and washing-up liquid/dish soap is homemade swarfega. You can get it in most trade shops or DIY stores and swarfega usually does a better job, doesn’t dry out and damage your skin like washing-up liquid and leaves a nicer smell too.
