Man I didn't ever notice how much this movie was fully animated by the tv team, because the comparison between the first movie and this is... wow. I remember the show being typical low quality, so seeing this movie the same hit me like a tonne of bricks.

it wouldn't really matter to watch Leroy and Stitch before the series but the series introduces all the cousins and is *kinda like* watching Endgame after seeing all the previous Marvel movies just seeing all the characters you know in one giant adventure

If you want to see Leroy and Stitch at some point, you're gonna want to see the series otherwise you may miss some context on certain moments/characters
And they absolutely should see Leroy & Stitch, yes they are in deep now that they watched Stitch The Movie, but Leroy & Stitch is also the second best of the Lilo & Stitch movies
lilo and stitch 2 takes place between the first movie and this one so it doesnt matter.
then you can watch the series which i recommend
then finally watch Leroy and Stitch as the series finale
