Fun Fact: In the databooks, Guruguru/Swirly Zetsu's real name is "Tobi" and so that's how Obito ended up using the mask and embodying his persona (name, voice, behavior.) Obito was literally playing multiple different characters at the same time, which is is crazy to think about. Of course, the similarity with their names could be intentional by Kishimoto, but the zetsu was the source of his inspiration.

It goes without saying, he absolutely wasn't dumb or immature. He may be a "fake Madara" but he was still an incredibly cunning, manipulative, and dangerous shinobi; he learned from the best. Not to mention we saw that he researched a lot on the various jutsus of different Konoha clans. I love how the form of the wood-style surrounding the red moon represents the Tobi mask with the red Mangekyou, and the red moon is also symbolic of the Infinite Tsukuyomi
When it comes to mental fortitude, no one is stronger than Kakashi. Everyone is saying what Obito went through was hell, but Kakashi was the one that actually killed her. He has to live with the pain AND the guilt. And not once did he become evil.
Yeah. Even in the forest earlier everyone is mad at kakashi because of what he said to obito. But he just told what he has seen happening with his dad when he was just a kid.
The best thing about Naruto and what the other anime doesn't have is that there isn't evil in Naruto everyone including danzo Madara Obito nagato and much more just heros that just trying to make world or there village much safer place or to bring peace in different way
Unlike Darth Vader, where Palpatine nerfed Anakin with the crappy suit, Madara made Obito more powerful with the Hashirama tissue. Obito was Naruto who lost all hope after watching Rin die. Jiraiya was Naruto who gave up on his best friend ever coming back to the good side. Yahiko was Naruto who got betrayed and died too young. Nagato was Naruto who lost faith in his sensei's dream after watching the cruel ninja world take his friend away. Kishimoto just wrote one story, with different characters playing the same parts (Obito-Naruto-Nagato-Jiraiya, Kakashi-Sasuke-Orochimaru, Rin-Sakura-Tsunade-Konan).

Already, time to start discussing the set-ups and clues for the "Reveal" at the end of the series. 37:23 - We see the "origins" of Black Zetzu. Important for later considering other things. Also another clue some people tend to forget that's tied to this backstory...We learned episodes ago, that Madara/Obito was secretly the Mizukage, having taken possession of Yagura who was the original 3 Tailed User? Eitherway, it was Mist Ninjas attacking Kakashi and Rin and they were somehow invovled with why Kakashi killed Rin and Madara/Obito ended up getting his revenge on them by taking control of their Kage at some point after the real Madara's death. Its also interesting to note that in the manga and 3 Tailed Beast Filler Arc, Tobi was set specifically with Deidara to capture the 3 Tails who at this point was no longer inside the 4ft Mizukage who at some point died off-screen since Mei was obviously the 5ft Mizukage at that point in time. What's confusing here is...if Obito was controlling the 4ft Mizukage who was the user of the 3 Tails originally, why did he not capture him than and only after when the 3 Tails was no longer in a host?
About the mizukage’s death. My thinking is needing the akatsuki to be the ones to do it. It was a huge point early in shippuden that they needed every akatsuki member to partake in the sealing ritual to speed up the process. I think when Hidan and kakazu joined the ritual after killing asuma they said it was 3 days of sealing. Additionally it would be weird to tell them that pain alone extracted the 3 tails off screen so obito needed the akatsuki to capture and seal it to keep up appearances
The pacing of the war at the start was horrendous, but the amount of iconic and peak moments we got totally makes up for the bad pacing. In my opinion, the war alone has more iconic scenes than the entire series by far.
Imagine if Naruto became rogue because of being outcasted by everyone due to the Nine Tails, without Iruka he would probably be on the same situation as Obito right now. 🔥🔥🔥
I will say, I never bought the reasoning for Obito's turn. But his fight and his fall scenes are beyond dark. And then even the music goes a note lower than ever! So well done
29:5730:44 One time Kishimoto sensei wrote Gore in Naruto and it f**king slaps 🔥🔥 He pointed out it is to make a complete tonal shift in Obito's mentality.
Man its a trip seeing a react like this, I remember waiting every week to read the translated manga chapter and years to be able watch around the damn filler
44:18 It may literally translate to the words "red moon" but it means Dawn or Daybreak, which Yahiko Nagato and Konan were working towards a better future or a "new dawn" for the hidden rain
A little trivia: when we separate Akatsuki into 2 words we get Aka Tsuki, meaning red moon. At 29:00 you could say this red Moon was the protoplast to Akatsuki's birth and it's destination is also a red Moon - one with Sharingan reflected on it's surface.
When Obito is screaming about how he's not going to accept any of this - the shuriken flew through him thanks to the mangyoku, and in fact he was out of reality, it was his projection. Similarly when he went through Kakashi to Rin - also analogies towards the fact that the real world wasn't real to him, so he went through Rin. And he had to come back to reality to give Rin a hug, which emphasizes this desire that connects him to the real world. That is, the analogy that his mangyoku literally denies reality
So many of the problems in the shinobi world are (the majority) because of the shinobi from Konoha itself. however, still: obito=tobi "is a good boy" (Zetsu said in this episode and in the episode after saving Gara)
Kishimoto when he had to write Uchiha story : *FULLY LOCKED TF IN*

I think when Hidan and kakazu joined the ritual after killing asuma they said it was 3 days of sealing. Additionally it would be weird to tell them that pain alone extracted the 3 tails off screen so obito needed the akatsuki to capture and seal it to keep up appearances
He couldn't have guessed what guy will do in a few episodes

@@damson9470 he's already watched this on patreon dosent matter
@@hxybrid3110 no he has not.
After Obito's massacre there was another sign, namely the moon and red. as if someone saw it.
"I'm...... in hell..."
Nick: Absolute Cinema
I have been waiting for this moment for so long
It was said that Kishimotos pen was on fire the day he wrote this on manga.
The pacing of the war at the start was horrendous, but the amount of iconic and peak moments we got totally makes up for the bad pacing. In my opinion, the war alone has more iconic scenes than the entire series by far.
46:45 “diddy paper” 😂😂😂😂
Imagine if Naruto became rogue because of being outcasted by everyone due to the Nine Tails, without Iruka he would probably be on the same situation as Obito right now. 🔥🔥🔥
Ichiraku guy and his daughter should be given credits too. They never treated Naruto poorly.
Kakashi = a Sasuke who didn't fall into darkness
Obito = a Naruto who lost hope
Episode 345 "I'm in hell" is probably one of my favorite anime episodes ever !!! So good. Chills everytime
You gotta look up the uncensored version of obitos mankegyo awakening
I will say, I never bought the reasoning for Obito's turn. But his fight and his fall scenes are beyond dark. And then even the music goes a note lower than ever! So well done
A true masterpiece
Kishimoto really locked locked in when it came to Obito
Yall remember they said it falls off after the pain ark😂
38:38 it's a basic ninja ability to change voice n appearance. you're overthinking it
The tailed beast inside Rin are three tails...the one that roam freely at a lake in one of fillers arc.
the #1 quickest way to the girl’s heart, easy chidori
29:57 30:44 One time Kishimoto sensei wrote Gore in Naruto and it f**king slaps 🔥🔥 He pointed out it is to make a complete tonal shift in Obito's mentality.
Man its a trip seeing a react like this, I remember waiting every week to read the translated manga chapter and years to be able watch around the damn filler
Congrats on 1 million subs Nic 🎉 well deserved
2:06 the thing is
Tsunade didn’t got CRUSHED
She was SPLIT in half
I think this is my favorite Naruto episode. And one of the best in all of anime
Uchiha Obito so cute (kawaii) 😊🐣🥰
One thing you dont wanna hear in the Naruto Universe is:
"He is wielding a weird jutsu"
Obito being a guy that will wage war just for his love. What a tragic way of life 😣
I think Naruto has the best imagery in all the anime’s there’s so much that isn’t talked about it precieved
44:18 It may literally translate to the words "red moon" but it means Dawn or Daybreak, which Yahiko Nagato and Konan were working towards a better future or a "new dawn" for the hidden rain
After so many years i just realized konan oiled up. Those papers come outta her body. Oiled paper. She oiled up. What the fuck lmao
aint no way this popped up after I just finished his obito reveal reaction 😭
Other people have probably said this. But you LITERALLY said that Tobi can't be obito when you watched the Kakashi chronicles.
The team Minato picture made its first appearance in Chapter 16.
The villains in Naruto are just good people who went through hell on earth
(except Black Zetsu)
5:41 and 9:41 oh god, this is the magic of rewatch the anime.
29:53 Wait who??
A little trivia: when we separate Akatsuki into 2 words we get Aka Tsuki, meaning red moon. At 29:00 you could say this red Moon was the protoplast to Akatsuki's birth and it's destination is also a red Moon - one with Sharingan reflected on it's surface.
best backstory in naruto
When Obito is screaming about how he's not going to accept any of this - the shuriken flew through him thanks to the mangyoku, and in fact he was out of reality, it was his projection. Similarly when he went through Kakashi to Rin - also analogies towards the fact that the real world wasn't real to him, so he went through Rin. And he had to come back to reality to give Rin a hug, which emphasizes this desire that connects him to the real world. That is, the analogy that his mangyoku literally denies reality
Nick just spouts predictions that are in boruto rn😂
Im excited for Nick to meet who I think will be one of his favorite characters.
Wont be long now - He just might die from excitement! 😏
So many of the problems in the shinobi world are (the majority) because of the shinobi from Konoha itself. however, still:
obito=tobi "is a good boy"
(Zetsu said in this episode and in the episode after saving Gara)
