I don't mean to bash, but how is it that this game, which is being made by amateurs is making more progress than Astride that had both a kickstarter, and government funding, and patreon funding (I believe)? Again, no hate intended, but I just don't get it.
I can agree to this to some extent, Mindev games has a smaller team as far as I know, but the country the developers are in can be a facture to this as well, hence why Astride might have had a different outcome. The games focus on different things I believe too. I honestly don't get it sometimes either, but we can just wish the games well on their journey and that they stay true to their visions ♥
Yeah, but remember that Unbridled was already out in demo/had gameplay back in 2020 while Astride didn't even start development before mid 2021. Astride's Early Access is currently in pre alpha state, not near beta, not to mention demo. Unbridled simply started years earlier.

@@User34271 Well, if Astride devs themselves have said on their Discord when they started, I believe them on that. I haven't been much following Unbridled but for Astride I know that devs worked full time at some point but not anymore, except maybe the programmers. And the Kickstarter funds were enough only for paying for programmer fully for half a year of 2022. Those funds what they got from goverment also didn't support all of the devs fully so ofc game is progressing slowly when they have to work on other jobs too to make their living. Norway is very expensive :/
@@LivStraver I believe they still have some keys avaliable over on their Patreon. I think you need to at least donate or contribute 5 dollars/euros before you can get it tho. I suggest heading to their Patreon page since I think they mentioned it in a post recently ❤

@@nono-wo9ky Closed Beta means that there is fewer people who can play it, almost like crowd control. There should still be some keys avaliable, but I think you have to at least contribute with 5 dollar/euros over at their patreon in order to receive it 😉
I'm hoping that before it's released they'll fix the appearance of the horse and it's gaits, they're so ugly. I also hope they add animations for the tack so we can touch and put them on ourselves. Also we should be able to build our bond by giving treats and scratches.
Calling them right out ugly will not help make the horses better, I would suggest to try and be more constructive about it, since that would help improve the game. I personally think the horse model is fine, of course the animations can use some tweaking, but it is without a doubt functional. There is some animations when you put on the tack and bridle etc, we can also carry the saddle, bridle and halters... just needs some fine-tuning :) I do believe we will be able to build a proper bond with the horses in the future, there is a lot of things to look forward to ♥
