Yeah, they dont make alot of glosses opaque enough for darker lip tones most are made for pink lip tones. I hate buying one that looks opaque in the tube but clear and greasy when I put it on. Anastasia has the best opaque glosses and some of the Loreal Infallible glosses stay on for a long time. I've seen this brand in the color Amber and Stone that is more opaque and cover a darker lip tone nicely.
I have a fair skin and my lips are light pink in color, I got the Reef shade, it looks extremely weird on my lips and it looks really separated and bad on my lips!! And the shade is really weird when it’s applied!! The same happened when I used the ELF Lip Plumper in Sparkling Rose shade, it separates horribly although the Champagne shade looks out standing, I definitely recommend that you try that ELF Plumper Champagne shade, looks fab on the lips!! 💕 So I guess the pink shades with no shimmer tend to separate!! I just ordered from iHerb’s website the Maybelline in Topaz shades, hope that won’t separate as it’s shimmery! ❤
