    "It's another man telling us we can't fill up the room
    It's another man telling us to book a smaller venue"
    I saw them when they performed in DC that night. They actually sold out the original venue and they had to be moved to a bigger one. Justice at its finest.

    Her voice is so authentic. The lyrics are pressingly honest and their composition is simple. Which is the exact opposite of what I'm sure they were told to do in the industry.

      The lyrics are just like any teen angst diary of a tween but always filled with hate.
      She got into the industry by her father's connections and him telling her what to do.

      Its the fact they blame almost everything on gender inequality or some other social issue and that they blame all men for a minority's behaviour.

    • @TheClever69
      @TheClever69 6 років тому +12

      @@hmgmusic9065 First off, they don't blame all men. They're not sexists as I'm pretty sure they're all heterosexual so they don't hate men. Just because she said "another man" doesn't mean that she refers to every man in existence but men in the music industry can be incredibly sexist and misogynistic. Also, as men, we have no idea of what women have to put up with in the industry nowadays so we shouldn't judge, instead we should listen and try to understand

    • @TheClever69
      @TheClever69 6 років тому +15

    Okay so mean this with complete respect as someone whose taste is way outside this genre:
    I typically associate the instrumentation side of this type of sound as typically "sloppy" and not as "tight". I don't mean that in any way as a negative thing, as I've always interpreted it as part of the genre and expression within in it. But these three seems to be exceptionally tight in terms of ryhthym and tone compared to what I would've expected, and I really enjoyed it.
