- This superplay is unlocked in game once certain criteria are met. It was played by Wild-Snail: USI (Savini#) & Bornnam: Wat, their real names are never mentioned however. With Battle Garegga arriving on the PlayStation 4 later in the year and having hit 300+ subscribers we've decided to revisit our previous video on the Saturn port. A never perfect port that really shows off the power of the Saturn, as this is a revamped video of an existing one we have edited down the loading times and crop the screen safe area to give you more picture. The final score is 1PF823440. When we original uploaded the Battle Garegga Superplay it was before UA-cam carried 60fps and was captured in ugly composite at 480p and upscaled via an editor to 720p and in yoko mode. Roll on nearly two years later and we can now capture it in 1080p 60fps and in tate mode so it looks nice and shiny.
This is a full playthrough / longplay / walkthrough / trueplay / 1CC of the game or super play as the Japanese like to call these videos.
To unlock complete the game for the first time (difficulty level and number of continuations are free), "SUPER PLAY" will be added to the title screen. If you start on Player 1's side, you can watch a playthrough by Wild-Snail: USI (Savini#), and on Player 2's side, you can watch one by Bornnam: Wat. @@lancecurry7538 Please read the description, this is a superplay included on the game disc and played by Wild-Snail: USI (Savini#) & Bornnam: Wat (Their real names are never mentioned). Sadly these type of runs require months of practice, something we just don't have the time to do at present, so we will leave that to the arcade shooter pros on UA-cam.

This is the most intricately designed game I've played.
Yagawa can make some deep ass games.
Thank God I have the game for the PS4. Although I suck at the arcade edition, but other modes such as Premium, Super Easy (Meh-ish) and Custom are the inclusions to the game, making the players greatly challenged by the game in the palm of their hands. :D

We picked up the Asian retail disc PS4 version last year and must say what a superb version of the game it is.

@@gaminggoof1542 The PS4 version is arcade perfect, but it got released in limited quantities, so it's likely fetching a fortune as well by now.

Which upscaler are you using? This looks fantastic.
Remember we are using RGB Scart for the capture, that's where the quality comes from, which isn't commonly used in the USA. For a great site that details a huge list of scalers checkout this one: retrogaming.hazard-city.de/
The main reason for us using the scaler is to purely capture RGB Scart which isn't support by most capture cards, for this video we used the HDV8S Generic Scart to HDMI, it's not perfect (cannon gun fire on stage 5 isn't correct) but it does a decent job. For Dreamcast we use a VGA scaler our current one isn't reviewed on that site however.

Anyone know how the graphics of the Saturn compare to the arcade specifically the backgrounds?
It's a direct port of the arcade board, it's pretty much arcade perfect, but they days the PS4 version would be the best version to go for.

Why the death on the first boss??
The top Battle Garegga players die all the time, it's a trick from what we understand in keeping the difficulty down for scoring.
