I fish esthwaite on a regular basis mate, in my opinion it's the best natural fishery in the country, massive shoals of roach, bream and hybrids. And some cracking pike. Had some massive bags of bream.
Fished it now for couple years and Windermere too. Had some proper bags out of both lakes. Beautiful place to go and recon the Lake District is untapped for bream fishing. Great videos pal 👍
Just come across your channel today mate, I've spent pretty much all day binge watching your vids haha. I'm booked on esthwaite next Friday for 48 hours pike fishing.... Good luck with the tour of Europe, I'll be tuning in for every upload
If you go again Adam, ask for postbox peg or boat house around the opposite side of the lake… only need to chuck around 60 yds and you’ll hammer the bream…. The car park swims are pretty good as you’ve discovered but if it’s big bags of bream you’re after get the other side mate… It’s around 40ft deep…
Love places like that with great natural venues and fantastic scenery unlike commercial fisheries which I've only ever fished twice just not for me..I would rather spend two weeks in Ireland fishing than fishing on a commercial for a year..not sure if you have ever been to Ireland fishing it's an amazing place especially southern Ireland but you definitely need to try it I've had 40 to 50 pound of hybrids roach tench in a morning at Lanesborough you would love it there 😊
Multiple reasons really I'm fishing long range which causes a slight bow in the line and fishing with mono line has abit of stretch init so I dont actually connect with the fish until the rod is right behind my head also holding the rod high keeps the fish off the bottom away from snags. If you've heard that holding the rod low makes the fish come up in the water it's a myth and wrong
A crackalakin days fishing that pal. The trouble with massive bags of fish is the weighing and photos. You really need two lads. If you fancy a trip over the winter hook me up, I'm in France. You'll catch 30lb of catfish live'os.
Last time I fished there it must have been 10 years ago and there was a kamikaze swan then. Kept flying straight at me at zero feet screeching its head off ! Can't be the same one surely? How long do swans live? Fishing was great though.
That’s very helpful of you! Perhaps if you went more often you might see someone catch less. You can tell them on the day that way. See how that goes for you.
Proper old school bream bagging. Love it something I don't do anymore but I should. Great video again mate.
Great day fishing Adam great bag of Bream thight lines
Thanks for watching david I'm feeling like i could do my best weight ever out of this venue
BAGGGGGIIINNNNNN. YES LAD. Love it. Couldn't of time the upload better either, perfect timing for my teatime food and smoke watch. Cracking day.
Glad I'm a part of your evening mate 👍

You could be right I've never seen as many roach in one place the water would erupt when they scattered 👍

The guy did mention it when I rang but I just wanted easy fishing for my first trip, I'll be back
Honestly it’s unbelievable the amount you’ll catch.. your 30lb you can times by 5 mate using the exact same tactics… absolutely mental…

Please get a better landing net handle! 😂
Have another trip for the roach over winter mate .👍
I might just do that you know 👍
Stretched threads and catches to measure🙏🤝
Good morning Adam could you advise me on what groundbait to use on esthwaite, going with a pal at the end of the month.tia
Its crystal clear so use a dark and sweet mix 👍
Great video Adam. How much was the day ticket? Can't seem to find the prices on the internet...
£15
Enjoyed this video would like to try this venue. What did you find the most successful method and bait ?
Why do you lift the rod up so high behind your head? Honestly just curious...

nice to see some proper normal real fishin

It is a nightmare alone I didn't think had as much as I did they where dense fish
What are the times you can fish, and what time have you in the carpake
£15 a day
9-5 in car park.
I’d get there before September 2024 as they won’t be running it any longer.

Swans can live up to 30 years and this wasn't even half of it I've never met such an aggressive swan in my life 😂
if you call that a good day just go to hayfield catch more bream than that my best day 70 bream
And what’s your point?
That's the worst catch I've ever seen at esthwaite
That’s very helpful of you! Perhaps if you went more often you might see someone catch less. You can tell them on the day that way. See how that goes for you.
Crap
No mate, … not CARP, they were bream and roach. You’d think a clever boy like you would know how to spell.
😂
