- In case you’ve never watched a Hoonigan video that involves going fast off-pavement, we’re just gonna let you know that Darren Parsons is the dirt daddy. But even the very best can reach their limits sometimes, and Darren’s old Ford Raptor setup was almost completely lost to a fire/roll type situation. But now, like a mid 90s phoenix from the ashes, it’s back as a Ford Ranger. AKA Darren’s high school danger machine.

This makes me want to rip the 370 out of my F-body, sell the chassis,, sell the nitrous setup, and throw it in an old S10 or Blazer with a Procharger and dump the rest of the money into a backhalf, cage, and suspension🤤🤤🤤🤤

I've always felt the same way about the Chevy S10 platform.
I've got a 93. 2wd manual trans and a 4.0L its rusty af but I just can't sell it for some reason. Its just so simple and tough. Local scale says it weighs 3100 lbs

Hell yes. I do diecast models (because full size cars are too expensive lol) and am currently making a Supra with a livery based on Ivan Stewart's Mickey Thompson stadium truck. 90s liveries were the fucking best, especially the stadium and trophy trucks.

Great build I Beam are so cool I had a 4x4 Bronco that was semi built in the late 90's someone might remember it I worked for ORW down in San Diego and was in Ocotillo Wells every weekend this makes me want to do a full build..

That is an amazing restoration of a classic Ford Ranger 90's setup. But unfortunately that type of 90's setup had reached its limitations regarding its stability as demonstrated.
1st truck I built was a 2wd ranger to a 4x4 truggy. Sadly it was stolen by a former employer...however I've had 5 rangers and am plotting to build number 6 on f250 axles with 40s

I wish I had this kind of stupid money to not only build this truck. But build it like 4 times.
Big question for fire kit.. I know you said one big bottle what stops suppression system from running out on say the trans tunnel before the heat of passenger compartment gets hot enough to break the bulbs. If they burst with heat do they just run until bottle is empty or is turned off??

For the next this vs that I think it would be cool if you guys raced an RC car vs a real car. An Arrma infraction / felony would be a good choice or a traxxas X-01 would be good too. These cars are faster than the car Andrew brought to the burnyard in that one video.
