At that time Jesus was in the form of a body that a person can see and follow, in this day, lets say a person is willing to give up everything and follow, but HOW do they follow Jesus today ? If following the ten commandments is not following, and giving up everything is not following, what is considered actually following Jesus ? I just ran across your videos in the last month and I am so thankful for you and the blessings that God has given you to explain and share in the way that you do....Thank you for your passion and inspirational videos and deciding to share them with us. Have an amazing day! :)

@@user-qe1ie2zh1vFirst, Pastor Allen would tell you that Jesus came to fulfill the Levitical law, not the Moral Law - the Moral Law (which is the Ten Commandments) is still in effect, and always will be in affect - this is part of God’s moral attributes, and through the process of sanctification, we adopt these qualities from God, over time. As He continues to purify us through the work of the Holy Spirit, we take on these moral attributes of God.
(Hopefully I explained that well :) I have been watching Pastor Allen for about six months, and I feel like I’ve practically gone to seminary :))
Second, as far as following Christ, this will be something that Christ puts on your heart, personally. Like you said, He is not here, in a body, so you can’t just sell everything you own and hope to meet up with him in Israel. Jesus might like you right where you are. Not everyone who becomes a Christian is told to sell all their stuff and become a missionary worker - that’s my dream, and it may be yours, but even if it is, it may not be what Jesus has planned for you.
Until you know, read the Bible. There are a few ways that God speaks to us:
1, Through the Word: ALWAYS through the word and through prayer - And this may take a little time. God likes to make sure that you will be faithful and follow through consistently. You have to remember that Israel hurt his heart, so He likes to make sure we follow through.
2, Through your pastor: Join a local church. get involved in community and share with others about Jesus.
3, Through other people, teachers, friends, etc., and of course, Jesus, our Messiah
4, dreams/visions. 5, the Holy Spirit, and lastly, personal experiences. but if you’re new and learning, I say, depend on the word, and not your own understanding - especially in the beginning.
but there are no shortcuts to building a relationship with God. You have to know Jesus, The Word, and the Holy Spirit… And pray before reading the Bible, ask God to give you a clear mind, and lead you in the Word, and show you what He wants you to know, ask for discernment, and His will, not your own.
Hopefully, I have not overwhelmed you 😊❤
      God Bless you!! ❤❤❤

First, let me just say, "Thank you for following God's calling in your life." You are obviously blessed by God to teach His Word! I thank God for allowing me to come across your videos when I was looking for a better understanding of a lesson I was teaching in Sunday School for the Young Adults. Since then, I have gone through many of your series and have been using them as my Bible study time. I have learned so much more on such a deeper level that I have been wanting. While going through your series on Revelation, my 16 year old daughter heard some of the things that you were saying and I would often times tell them about what I had learned that day. Which had caused her to start asking many questions, which lead to her accepting Jesus as her LORD and Savior. She had gone up as a 7 year old but realized that was not the real deal. So, again Thank You for following the path God has so very clearly laid out for you.
I thought about your question, and was going to answer it with another question, but all I could come up with was, "Does a one legged duck swim in circles?" But I won't. This really changes my perspective on the 11 disciples that followed Jesus and what made them leave just because he came up to them and said "Follow Me". I loved the background of where that came from. How excited they must have been to hear Him say that. Tying the rich young ruler into it all and showing us that we all have to give up something to follow Him, and that's why lots of people refuse to follow, was such a different way than has ever been presented to me. That was great teaching, Pastor Allan.

You are definitely the best TEACHER of the gospel I have ever heard. I am so grateful I stumbled upon your videos over the last couple of months. My young adult son loves you as well. I have to tell you Pastor Allen. I do and will cry. For me when you learn the truth you have to look deep inside ourselves, to truly know that you are a child of GOD. for me it comes down to only one word. LOVE. For GOD IS LOVE. I’ve heard this preached and read it or listening to it I always thought it was part of it selling and giving to poor . After he said I tell you it be wadis for camel to fit through eye of needle that it is for the rich to enter heaven. But soon as you said is that what would get him to heaven I thought doing gods will which is sorted what you said as Jesus tells him to come follow me. It’s made me realise I’ve to go sell everything which I have nothing but I know I need to stop something and follow him . Make him lord over my life and make him my life. So once again thank you for explaining it in away I understand. Maybe Holy Spirit help not maybe definitely helps to . But also thank you for what you do and that’s giving up time so people like myself understand these things come to revolution that aww this is what that means or this is what needing done. Thank you

For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. David is my favorite person in Biblical history. As a young man, he had so much faith in God, he was willing to fight Goliath knowing God would deliver the giant warrior into his hands. Years later as a man of power, he was captivated by a beautiful married woman, Bathsheba. He sent her husband to the front lines of battle, knowing he would not likely survive so he could have this woman. He later repented and returned to walk in the Lord. Such is the struggle of humanity. It shows that in reality, we are all simply sinners, either lost or saved by grace through faith in Christ Jesus 😉 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

I’m not sure I agree that discipleship is the gospel of Jesus Christ and not the death, burial and resurrection of Christ for our sins according to scripture. Paul rebuked the carnal Christians at Corinth and exhorted them onto maturity in the Spirit but he began the letter addressing them as sanctified brothers and sisters in Christ. I’m not knocking discipleship as all believers are clearly called to it, but that’s not the gospel of Jesus Christ that Paul said we are saved by believing in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.

Yeah, I don't get what he's saying either. Ive seen other videos of Pastor Allen teaching the true gospel(1 Corinthians 15:1-4). So I guess he means that following Christ is the same as having faith? Then again Judas was a "follower" but not a believer....

@@SalvadoporGracia All born again believers are called to discipleship so I’m not knocking that whatsoever. I think you're a great teacher if you would only teach another thing I think is strange is that if you read the Old testament and all the names and words in the Old testament and then it jumps over to the New testament John Paul George Ringo you know the Beatles after not but just saying the letter j wasn't even introduced into any language before 450 years ago so if you're going to pronounce the person that you're giving your entire soul in existence to maybe you should teach on how to pronounce that name correctly like I said you're a great teacher if you would only teach all that little crying and weeping patting yourself on the back for all the theology classes that you took that's not teaching that's patting yourself on the back you're very intelligent and you have very much knowledge if you just cut through it and get to it we would very much appreciate it other than that have a nice day pat yourself on the back a little more
