@armbar1981ok I try to help as many people out with it as I possibly can. But it is very difficult when people are so ignorant of so much of what is out there. I don't know that I have the patience to teach what I know to someone else, but I do feel like I can spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to them at the very least. 🙂

I love ancient history and one of my favorite sources is Dr. Ken Johnson PhD (no relation to me that I know of). He wrote many books on ancient history and I have them all. He has all the genealogy of the bible that links the important historical figures together. I love to listen to Pastor Allen Nolan as he is personable and very intelligent and he knows how to relate and connect the stories in the Bible and in ancient history. Allen is what I would call a scholar. It is good that he recognizes that males and females are very different in how they look at situations and history. QED

I know for some when it comes to interpreting the Bible many don't understand. In the verse it shows four roles: 1. apostles 2. prophets 3. evangelists 4. shepherds/teachers.
The shepherd and teachers are one. The shepherd has to be able to teach. When you read the scripture you don't see a comma in between the shepherd and teacher. You see it as one. There's no such thing as a five-fold 5; there's four.

I've watched this video before months ago. And all the Genesis videos in the Genesis playlist. This video is somewhere around 10 years old.
I've noticed they will randomly re- post certain videos just to bring attention to them.
Pastor Nolan is such an amazing teacher but I'm having a hard time with Tower of Babel just a hundred years after the flood. Doesn't seem like there could be near enough people in that time frame.
Yes if you do the genealogy it is amazing what you will learn. I'm also one who studies genealogy to answer question I have and it really is amazing what you learn, so try it you may discover so much more than you realize!@@Marc-yh1rd

I love the deep things of the Bible (stories and explanations) of why things happened in ancient history. I must be weird too, as I like genealogy and I helped to write a genealogy history book of my mother's family back to the 1660s. My Mother's family (the Spohns or spoons or Spahns - all correct spellings) were from Schwarzenau, Germany. Schwarzenau, Germany is where the Dunkard Brethren religious sect originated from and then came to America. My ancestor Martin Daniel Spohn was a (Dunkard) Brethren preacher in Frederick, VA and later in Washington Cnty., PA.
It is my understanding that Nimrod was a hunter of men and he utilized giants (descendants of the Nephilim), which he collected into his service as an army. Nimrod's army that he utilized to conquer other city-state kingdoms consisted of violent war-like giants and violent god-less men.

Yes that is correct. And here is the rest of the story. The coming harpazo (rapture) is not going to occur as it is taught. That day of Pentecost brought true ressurection power through the same indwelling Holy Spirit that "energized" Jesus at Jesus baptism by John. Jesus saidto his disciples that John was the fulfillment of the prophesy of the return of Elijah. It is the harpazo ressurection power that Elijah operated under. As it will again return just before the return of Christ as one of the two witnesses operating DURING the great tribulation. Revelation tells us the two witnesses can withhold rain and call fire down to consume the enemy. Revelation says fire destroys the enemies of God when fire comes out of their mouths. That Elijah power was the Shekina cloud of ressurection power. That is what the coming rapture,(harpazo) will look like. It will occur as it is revealed in the book of Acts in chapter 8. The text declares that the angel "appeared" unto Philip and woke him and said "arise" and go...Philip then is described as running along side the chariot of the treasurer of Ethiopia's queen Candace. From Acts8:39 And coming up out of the water the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip and he was no more seen by the Ethiopian. Here we learn Philip was caught away ( same word harpazo used here as Jesus used in Matthew 24, and Paul used I'm 2nd Thessalonians). The Spirit of the Lord here was the angel of the Lord translocating Philip from right before the eyes of that Ethiopian. The next verse, Vs40 But, Philip was "found" at Azotus, where he preached passing through all the cities unto Caesarea. Another harpazo is described in Acts where again the angel of the Lord "appeared" unto Peter chained up in Herod's jail. The text says the angel used the same word "aris" gird youself and come with me. Peter passed through, until he found himself outside the prison. Text says Peter thought he was still asleep and dreaming, obviously his first harpazo experience. Again this how Paul and Silas were returned back in to the temple preaching Christ, after the were locked in a jail with two posted guards. This harpazo is how Jesus passed through the angry mob when they would have thrown him over a clif. The text says Jesus passed through them, and they whist not where he had gone to. Same harpazo Shekina cloud blinded the sodomites who would have taken lot and his two visiting angels. The clouds Jesus said believers would be caught up in to is this Shekina cloud of heavenly glory, that enshrouds every angel while visiting earth, in order the second heaven evil entities can observe God's ressurection work operating on earth. No one is "escaping" in the harpazo when it returns. But as a thief in the night when this power begins operating again in the earth the elect individuals will be awakened by an angel, commanded to "arise" which will envelope the person in the Shekina cloud the angel presents within. The individual will be translocated to fearful hiding believers in an instant. They will appear glowing in holy light. Lay hands on the recipients heal and baptism them in ressurection power, and the recipients will hear the encouragement in thier on language, just as did those devout from many nations heard the 120 glorifying God each in thier own language. This fulfillment of the Zephaniah prophesy of God returning a pur tongue when he returns to the earth. It is the reverse of the curse on mankind confusing the languages at the tower of Babel. The 6 day earth lease of man is finished. Jesus will soon return, but not before all the prophesies are fulfilled, those Jesus spoke in Matthew 24, and those he spoke to John in the Revelation. FEAR NOT, the Holy Spirit is sealing all of Christ's in their foreheads, and we will overcome by the word of our testimony of the blood of the lamb as we war against antichrist.
I did think about this but didn't do the work it would take to find out (and I bet there are more people where God put this on their hearts but didn't look into it ) so don't be frustrated just obey God's voice and be blessed.
Speaking of this continental shift/divide; the first time I heard about the nepheline was in 2008 or 2009. It was on a late night radio talk show. Two Irish guys were explaining what the nepheline are, & how their skeletons were also found in the USA and Canada, which also had to do with The Flood. I have an Alfred Hitchcock DVD with old movies on it. Some are silent films from the 1920's. One was all about The Flood!!! You have to Read silent films. In this film, they had lots of scriptures. & It gave the Bible verses with the word Nepheline in it !! I never heard of nepheline until I watched/read, this silent film!!! & These guys on a radio talk show were talking about The Flood, & how the nephelines ended up in the USA and Canada!!!
Love this pastor I have learned a great deal from him. But the 100 years after the flood is wrong, we now know that 100 years were removed from several patriarchs, from the genealogy

This pastor is soo well versed in tower of babel but he mentioned the wrong area for Mt. Sinai and the wrong side of Red sea that moses crossed. The real sinai is in Saudi Arabia.

I am firmly convinced that the Septuagint dates are correct (note: why they are different is a whole other rabbit trail). With the MT dates, there's 100 years from flood to Babel, barely enough time to get 100 people if you're being generous. With the Septuagint dates, there's 528 years from flood to Babel, with a low population growth rate you get more than 200,000 people, with something normal you can get over 2 million.

If you can call him tell him his teaching regarding tracing the families in the earth are error. This is the rabbinical teaching, taught in majority of seminaies. The rabbis have taught most today to believe who the descendants are of Shem and Japheth, as pastor Nolan recited. However the reverse is true. Shem's descendants are the fair skinned peoples of western Europe and the Anglo-Saxon peoples. Japheth is the Turko-Iranian, and far eastern Asian peoples, and Ham is mostly represented by African peoples. No need to divide and seperate fellowship over the issue. Because we are 77 years in to the final generation before the return of Christ. And Ezekiel 38-39 war is near. Ezekiel declared American Israel would by blind of our identity until God delivers us from the very near invasion by China-Gog. Ezekiel declared then we will know that we are his people and he us our God. Russia is Gomer, not Gog. Israel today is only the Jews our brothers, and they will have their hands full during Armageddon with Iran-Persia, Turkey-Togarmah, and others of Islam. Western Europe are idolatrous Danites, and will be fighting north African Islam from Ethiopia on the east across to Lybya Morocco, etc after being given passage by the nation of Togarmah-Turkey. This war likely begins within the next 8-12 months. If you don't pass this on to pastor Nolan now. Remember this and tell him all of this when you see China staging in north western British Columbia very soon.

Your analogy of thought concerning if God came dwn to see what man was up to is upended by the following txt. To say that God doesnt or didnt come out of His "resting" place is felonious . As you cannot possibly say He didnt as when He came dwn & had lunch with Abraham. The only thing I took away with what you presented was the days of Noah in that we tend to think that the txt "as it was in the days of Noah" is the state of humanity pre flood which is untrue & for that I thank you

Its useful to understand how we got the "orient." Maps of the time sometimes put east on the top of the map...not north. When reading scripture, i think you are to ORIENT yourself toward the east. If scripture says on the right hand, i believe that's south. Left hand is north.

Iv listened to this for 10 minutes and this guy just loves to hear himself talk. If there's anything interesting or important he said in the first 10 minutes he could have said it in less than 1 minute without all of his babbling. Pretty typical of people who get sruck up on themselves and just like to talk
Language changes when communities are isolated from one another, add to that mix the languages and nuances of spouses. 😊 so when God scatters people they quickly develop their own languages. The fact the Bible says that they had their own language is because the Bible is speaking in the present tense to the reader of the flood, and also of the many generations into the future. I dont think its ever intended to be strictly linear to the mind of the reader. We are reading a multifaceted story with stories and events within each facet.
With a BA in linguistics, I have to disagree with your main assertion. Yes, languages absolutely change over time, especially in isolation. That's why we have French vs Italian vs. English, etc. Historical linguistics is able to reconstruct these changes and show how languages evolved from a common ancestor - which is where we get language families, in this case, the Indo-European family. ... BUT there are huge chasms of difference between language families that no one has been able to bridge. Despite many decades of searching for a "Universal Grammar" we are no closer to proving that there is some common ancestor to the language families. I absolutely believe that God supernaturally changed the language of the different groups at Babel (giving us our language families) ... and then those went on to further subdivide into all the languages we see through history and today.
That's not where Mt. Sinai is.. try Jabal Laws. The rock on which the golen calf was placed, the12 pillars, resevoir, and Horeb are still there, even the alter Moses built.
I am confused. It is my understanding that Jesus said angels has no gender so how could the fallen angels mate with human women?

Hebrew does not come from the ancestor Eber. Hebrew was a word for the "multiple" gifts Abraham had acquired on his journey in life. In another language it means "journey." In the principle of first use, the word came from the language of the king who first used it. It is a tradition in Judaiica to title a work by its frst word. For this reason "in the beginning " is "genesis" and "in many portions" is "Hebrews." When the people groups divided from Babel, a single word could take on different but related meanings in the various people groups. A shekel in one language was a quarter in another. The root of John is a beautiful word that means "to coo" or "a dove" or "a response" or "a reflexion." Hebrews is πολιμερος. I'm not a scholar, but i occassionally have an ear to hear.
No. Sorry, but this is not correct, pst Nolan. Don't read into the bible what is not there. Yhe bible emphasizes that canaan was Ham's son, yhen tells us that Noah cursed Canaan to be a slave to his brothers, THEN LISTS THISE BROTHERS AS SHEM AND JAPHET, INSTEAD OF PHUT KUSH AND MUZRAIM Why wasnt Ham cursed? Because he had already been blessed when they came out of the ark. Why the curse?, because Ham looked on his father's nakedness. Moses who is telling this story explains later what that means - it means to sleep with your mother! Ham raped his mom and she conceived canaan. This will also explain why Shem and Japhet walked backwards to cover their father - it was their mother. The other children of Ham were not cursed, so Nimrod was not cursed to be a slave. He was simply a bad man.
Canaan was treated as Noah's son by being 'blessed' along with them because Noah's wife gave birth to him. He probably grew up under his/her tent.

I appreciate pastor Nolan's teaching however I wish he didn't talk down on the listener. I don't think he's doing this on purpose but he needs to understand that not everybody learns the same way. This a lot of information and contradicts our teachings in secular education but we as believers in Christ need to understand the true history.
Love the clarity and depth of the message BUT.. why do your sermons have so many ads constantly interrupting your sermons it's not like that with other preachers I watch. It's very off putting sometimes I stop listening.
I don't think ads or no ads is a big deal. The content of the message is the purpose.
UA-cam is a "for profit" company and they place ads on popular videos whether you want them to or not. Hopefully, you can skip them after a short time.
