Looks like one of the most effective patterns we’ve seen out there. It’s like a modern version with a twist of the old WW2 German Dot pattern camo. Thank you for sharing! 😎🇺🇸
I absolutely love this series, I catch myself looking at my own kit and imagining it in the background of you’re videos. This was by far the best performing camouflage yet. Not the most stylish, but definitely effective.
"Not the most stylish..." as in the cut used for the clothes that it was applied on or just the pattern?....are you looking for "stylish" or effectiveness?
@@BabaNovac792well being a 22 year old fresh out of the marine corps, I love having effective combat kit on hand, but I’d love some new flecktarn or Mitchell pattern I can wear with designer for a nice fit. I don’t think you’re worried about getting pussy like I am right now, it’s alright
The camouflage looks suitable for tropical climate and rainforest.
The level of effort you put into these videos is great Brent!
I would never wear camouflage. My LARP character wears jeans and a gray sweatshirt and pretends his social media hasn’t already put him on a NSA list.
I’m surprised it works out of the shadows. The lighter sections become more effective in light and almost disappear on the forest floor. Effective !
I'm so grateful to Mil-Tec for making these in the BDU cut. We need more modern camouflage patterns in the BDU cut. It's the perfect compromise between old and new. It's low-tech, it's all buttons, it can be repaired in the field, it doesn't care about cold, mud or water (like Velcro does). I've heard some guys in Delta Force still rock them, Black Hawk Down style, just with more modern body armor and load-bearing equipment. If it's true, I can definitely see why. Sometimes low-tech is what you need. Dependable. Simple. No zippers, Velcro and other bells and whistles that, while convenient, can get damaged out in the field, yet can't be fixed. You can fix a button with a sewing kit the size of a matchbox.
Yes, Canadian type buttons would be perfect, silent, sturdy/durable. BDU is the best cut
Incredible!! I considered it as another camouflage pattern, now I'm sure it's the right one for me! Great job, thank you so much. Greetings from Poland!
Love your camo patter videos! I like that you started adding a single gunshot too. Sometime you saw vegetation move, sometimes you didn’t. Definitely more effective than multicam!
Wow! That might be my new favorite summer camouflage pattern! 👍👍
That camo netting is out freaking standing
I was just researching this camo an hour ago. Fantastic
As always, your use of shadow is impeccable. But the different array of colours really helps this cam blend in with all the contrasting colours of the foliage.
Was just thinking of getting the exact same set from Mil-Tec... part of their stuff isn't too bad and this pattern seems awesome and Brent definitely puts it to great use like a pro.
Miltec doing the lords work out here
Definitely effective! That's a great camouflage pattern!!👍
Brent, could you give us a quick view of these under NVGs? They are specifically marketed as not being IR friendly and curious to see how much they shine as no one has gotten to testing yet.
wasp 1 isnt IRR or NIR compliant, wasp 2 is
It even sounds blazing hot there. That camo blends in really well.
Nice AUG man! The camo reminds me of M81 because its darker. Fits in pretty well in the shade & by the trees.
Thank you so much Brent!
Pretty darn effective. Good review. Been a hot summer, huh? Look forward to the next one. Cheers!
These camo videos are great, and this one works super well it looks like. I have 60s style tiger stripe bdus that is only good in my subtropical environment 9 months out of the year unless im right on the beach, this stuff would likely be perfect. I'm glad that you mentioned it doesnt have crazy amounts of velcro too lol I hate that.
My latest firearm purchase has been the Steyr Arms AUG A3 M1 rifle which I put an EOTech XP holographic sight on it. So far I've been loving the thing and I'm slowly starting to drift towards viewing it as my go to rifle. Not gonna lie, a little bit behind me making that choice to get the rifle was seeing your video on it. Can't compete with pure A E S T H E T I C lol.
I dig the netting. Camo uniform is cool too
Great camouflage, very hard to see at a distance. They did a good job.
Very nice and effective. I am looking at the WASP II Z2 for fall/winter use.
You found more camo patterns over the years than I can count with all my fingers and toes.
That camo looks really good. I could only spot you when you were in light colored areas which is completely understandable considering the high contrast background.
Been waiting to see a good test of this. Seems like one of the most promising new patters alongside ConCamo.
Dang that stuff works really well, awesome brother!!
That camo worked great!
Amazing pattern, amazing upload!
Thanks for sharing.
Have a good day.
Holy camouflage we have a hard time seeing it 😳
Yeah I'm very impressed with this Phantomleaf WASP, it breaks up well.
Staring at the çamoflague netting it looks very passable...like you'd look at it and give up before realizing what it is.
Awesome video! I’d love to see a video like this testing Kryptek Obskura Transitional.
Surprisingly effective pattern. I'll have to check them out.
That pattern works really well
Loving the AUG!
awesome man
2:40 Brent explains the forest floor
Great video. Man that gun loves moving the bushes. The camo looks good. You blend right in. I don't know what it looks like in real vision. But on video looks badass. You look badass . Keep up the great work. God bless. From Glenn CATT. In Massachusetts.
Great video and great camo. That camouflage looks like it will work great for us southern boys.
Looks awesome and effective ❤❤❤and nice touch on the tarp ,easy to store it
It does work very good , except in the dryer dead vegetation, it looked like dead fall trees while you were laying in it . Overall it will work great for most places... even here in the great lakes area. I would consider purchasing some of that gear.
Thanks for demo !
Phantomleaf works really well. I should look into it!
A touch dark at mid day, but looks good. Remember poison ivy oil can stay on tools, boots and stuff for 5 years.
dang I love phantom leaf series, I have them all it reminds me of M40 pea dot pattern but better and more modern, miltec did a great job with their series they blend really well. Phantom leaf, Cocamo, MAPA, SG-14, and there is this insaneuntidetection concealment cloak that costs $13,000 and it is insane camo interms of effectiveness on every level
It looked RIGHT as soon as you walked up as close to invisible as you can get even in dappled light it looks RIGHT once again proof DigiCam is worthless large patterns are the way to go. Months ago I suggested a Sniper style Cape for bug out in Civilian clothing easy on and off that handy Cammo net Poncho or Cape style would be ideal you could carry 2 in different colours or stitch them back to back to throw on as necessary.
Great vid and camo! Sounds like a thousand rattle snakes in the background! Watch out!!
Great stuff 👌
really nice camo
Good stuff. One day you should do RealTree MAX-1 XT! I think you and your viewers would be surprised how well it works. Keep up the good work!
Would be nice if you could show how all the camo patterns perform un IR illumination in your reviews.
seems a mix of italian vegetato, and partizan mainly, with an eye on marpat and flekctarn:result, widely good
I think this is an excellent camo, i like it even more than WASP II. "Concamo" is also nice, but pretty hard to get.
Thank you Sir
I’m here for the steyr AUG…. It may not be the best choice, but dang do I love it in the movies and call of duty 😊
Great video. The new camo pattern did a great job hiding you.
The WASP I series has a better color palette than the WASP II although the II pattern is more disruptive IMHO.
Keep my old woodland. Deep South favorite
Hey Brent, been a long time subscriber. For your interview with warfighters series have you considered interviewing Brad from the M26 Lemon Grenade channel?
Good stuff
Seems like it would work well here in the woods of PA
Honestly, that wasn't bad!
I have the autumn pattern, and it's damn near invisible in the woods.
Your channel is still active no way!
Great video, can you test the Kreuzotter camouflage pattern
Hey Brent great video as always. I have a quick question, in your opinion would you say wearing coyote brown boots, digital woodland pants and combat shirt along with a OD green dominant plate carrier but have coyote brown pouches to mix the two colors a good idea or no. What would you recommend as the best way to have my kit setup with the kind of combat clothes that I mentioned in the beginning. Thanks
That bullpup is growing on you!
The best so far is the aor2 and the tigerstipe.
Very interesting
The miltec is better than the civitec. If it’s not IR compliant it’s hunting camp. Heiden does have a few miltec items. I’ve been wearing it for years. Works well in the PNW.
Good pattern for the leafy thick terrain in video. Still haven't seen anything 'significantly' better than good ol' woodland for green forest/jungle environments. Some of the 3D camo clothes Brent has shown recently is really good but expensive. Mil Tec - really? I know it's Chinese cheap but will it hold up to real field conditions?
Always great content, would you be able to provide some feedback or video reviews you have done on alice/duce gear and would like a reference point for a Alice/duce gear ruck build/altercations.
Thanks again for your help and time/support hoss!!!
Only Brent does camo testing right, just knows how to position the body behind intervening foliage to disappear. Got smoked the first half. Now I have to wonder if its NIR / SWIR compliant.
Mil-Tec, for those that don't know, is a German company, occasionally sub-contracting out _some_ of their production to China, not all.
Recently did a dive on US4ces, with the over preference for isoluminescent micropatterns versus distance macropatterns, think the American grunt got shafted by people who want to look pretty up close instead of fight like doctrine dictates.
Is the camo net the same size as a poncho so you could attract it to the poncho? If you had one of those Texas suppressors 7:47 , it would be harder to detect...no movement of brush. Good pattern there. Thanks for the video. Semper Fi
For the English countryside it's pretty decent. Even when you fired it was hard to spot you.
stumbled on the channel and have watched several videos - great stuff so far so i hit the sub to join the fray
and noticed all the links to stuff so thats cool to check out as well...
thanks
Thanks, welcome aboard.
I'm curious if the gentleman from hypersteath had something to do with the fractal patterns .
Pretty good
Hi man. What is your favorite pattern?
Hey Brent, would you ever consider trying a nixieworks rig?
Where can we get that cool gear?
Most camo looks too dark in sunlight or partial shade. I still think the olive drab blended must in different levels of sun and shade.
The problem is that the contrast isn't usually as big of a deal as silhouette. Our eyes are very good at coasting over and ignoring colors that are out of place. By comparison, the human silhouette will draw the eyes, regardless of the color. Movement, obviously, will be even worse. The WASP series of patterns, IMO, do a great job of breaking up the silhouette. The specific colors don't matter nearly as much.
@@KeterMalkuth that's exactly it...seems they silhouette more
I wonder how this would work in the fall.
Cool Camo but you could have hidden an orange school but in that terrain. :)
How did you wrap your veil around your head like that?
This gives me the feeling of Pencott Greenzone and Russian Partizan mixed
I like it. It'd be great if it wasn't so expensive.
This one is actually very affordable. The WASP II series is far more expensive...
I always see these camo vids but never have a chance to watch all of them!
Can anyone recommend a camo for a Texas mesquite desert background? I really don't have a reference for what i need.
So if you had to pick… wasp I Z3A or wasp II Z3A? 😁
Ah it's wasp 1 I thought it was wasp 2, I was like wtf they don't look like mine
Does thermal optics make camo obsolete?
Not a bad camo for the texhoma region.
Sorry but the veg gave it away.
The cicadas chirping really sealed the deal.
Wish they had size measurements for this gear. I’m usually a medium or sometimes large depending on the manufacturer. 5’10 180lbs
Miltec medium is usually shirt 37"-41" Chest with 30" total length and trousers 31"-35" waist with 43" total length that's both my uniforms their not in this colour but I'd expect they just use the same template for every uniform
Good pattern for wooded parts of TX. It might not work too well if transitioning to the grasslands & more arid parts. Also a good pattern to differentiate oneself from dudes wearing "Gov't" camo types...
*OBJECTIVE: SURVIVE*
The Chinese soldier who just parachuted onto this guy's land: 👁️👄👁️
For the price it better come with a stealth layer.
but from above with the drone you are still visible because the spots are too small (became clear in ukraine war). if they were really big, then I guess you could escape the drone. You could create a mix of small patches into large patches. what do you think of it?
I'd cut a hole in the middle of the netting and wear it like a poncho - you'd blend in far better.
2A❤️🇺🇸❤️ Let’s go Brandon FJB !
Love it !
