Una vez mas un excelente trabajo, y muy buena aportacion, el idioma es un poco complicado, pero, poco a poco voy comprendiendo, los veo una y otra vez, y asi voy aprendiendo.
Excellent video! Brent you absolutely do cammoflage better than anyone else on UA-cam! After watching your cammoflage effectiveness videos in the past. I bought a bunch of Multicam, MARPAT Woodland, and desert, and the Navy's new Digital Woodland! They all fit into every environment and season in the North American woods! I use them for hunting and camping. I must say that from everything I've bought. Multicam is definitely my favorite! Thank you for all the great information and knowledge you share!!🤜🤛🇺🇸🇺🇸
You should do a video about night vision when to use it, how it should be stored when not in use, types of NODs useful in different situations, what to expect when using NODs, different applications for Night Vision, and personal reccomendations.
Awesome, informative videos. I appreciate that you're not high-speed, shooting range style. But field op and movement. People often forget that the world isnt like a shooting range.
When I was in the Army I used black shoe Pauline’s stay out of the shadows an never be backlit to this day I still go old school think listening learn sounds of the environment will always tell you listen to the night feel he forces a round you GOD Bless
First of all thank you for your service and also for sharing all this knowledge in such a no nonsense manner. I'd love to see a cold wet dogshit weather gear video. Tempurate winter conditions with rain etc. Cold and miserable. Thanks again!
Is that for preventing or reducing SWIR signature? I read thats what it was used for when i was looking for IR solutions. Do you mean for the same use or what is any other use? What do you mean by tiger repellant?
@Feldgrau Fox It can also apparently be used for IR evasion, needs to be treated onto an IR insulation suit. webbook.nist.gov/cgi/cbook.cgi?ID=C52645531&Mask=80
Brent0331 There is a new interest in going back to the basic with camouflage and field craft at The Basic School, they teach the boot bands on Kevlar as well as several other techniques for camouflage and fieldcraft now. Semper Fi.
The cigarette thing is very true. In Iraq, we where on patroll in Sadr city at night so we had our nods on. We started taking fire and I was looking through my nvgs to see where it was coming from. I thought I saw a guy run around a corner but wasn't sure so I watched the corner for a few min. Then he peaked around the corner with a lit cigarette in his hand and I dropped him so fast.
The issue i find with cam paint is that its predominantly oil based so even when applying to skin there will still be a sheen to it where light reflects off the oil, i have found that charcoal/Ash works great as its matte and doesn't reflect light, can be easily sourced and a plus its great for the skin.
Yo this is perfect I have my own gta mil sim/military rp I use this a lot I was really looking for stuff for a face and head camo for infantry in each mission in my rp for the mil sim we have a hole diffrent uniform like if we did somthing in the paleto bay forest we would have woodland camo guns will be dark green and jungle face paint this helped a lot out of all the vids I watched this is the only one that does not take 10min to finally start talking about the camo
Use a mixture of face mask and face paint. let your nose or breathing holes unobstructed and apply face paint on exposed portions. limits use of face paint and negates the downsides of face mask.
This is exactly what a vet buddy of mine taught me, I was never in the military but always liked the every branch of service. Me and this vet buddy of mine did all sorts of things from map reading, orienteering, firearm drills, we'd even go on what he called death marches packing huge rucks, sweating our balls off heading to our rally point, then head to our simulated objective. Most of these "OPs" where generally consisting of large amounts of booze and camping, one time our point even got skunk sprayed while maneuvering a weedy ditch! Sounds super dweeby but small towns get boring!
I know this is a few months late, but my unit when I was in, 1/1, refused to let us do really any of this except cammie paint. And even then, applying too much and having a little bit of fun with it was a no go.
Yup, unfortunately some of this is command dependent. This is what should be allowed. You can find some Marine Infantry Bn's have cammie netting on their kevlars as a Bn SOP. Most do not though, its a shame really.
Hey Brent... you may have done this before however, I haven't seen it. Can you do one on urban camos??? Considering most people live in a urban city type environment I though it would be a cool episode... Who better than the master of camo to do it !! thanks.
Hey Brent. Big fan of your channel. Could you do a video on your thoughts on body armor, situations where you believe it should be used, and when you believe it is more appropriate to wear a chest rig instead?
All of these techniques and practices equally apply to deer hunting (Except night vision)...especially when the deer are under heavy hunting pressure for 2-3 months, like we have down South ! It's all about dodging/out-smarting the senses of your prey...Stalk and Ambush.
It's actually quite interesting that your sense of smell seems to get turbocharged while innawoods, you can seemingly smell animals as if you had your nose right up to them even though they are nowhere in sight, so while you're probably accustomed to the foul smell of your filthy buddies, you'll probably be able to smell the fragrance of any unwashed stranger too way before you make visual contact.
Bravo , Great Briefing / Great Video. God Bless the United States of America - United States Marine Corps - Brent0331 - Texas - Vanguard of Freedom. Thank you Brent0331 for your service - Your Allies Salute You .

Thanks brother, glad I could help.
Thank you for your hard work and attention to detail in your videos! God bless you, sir!
Thanks
You should do a video about night vision when to use it, how it should be stored when not in use, types of NODs useful in different situations, what to expect when using NODs, different applications for Night Vision, and personal reccomendations.
no drama music, no bs. only straight to the point.
Thanks for watching.
I appreciate your content. You’re the man!
Thanks brother.
Much respect from Russia 🇷🇺 хорошая работа брат 👍
Right, our sergeants can learn a lot from the foreign colleague Brent
I hope I will never have to face him or people he taught on the battlefield!
Thanks brother, I appreciate it.
Finally somebody who knows the ARMY way, has anyone else earned the their EIB?
He's a Marine, but it all applies to infantrymen in both services.
EIB brother.
Rfb has definitely earned it
Lol EIB is a handout for you guys in the Army
I have a expert badge for operating a buffer...
Brent, this was my MOS in Vietnam, and we had the same problems there too. Awesome video. Semper Fi!!!
Thanks brother.
Great video! It's crazy how much even a flat black painted rifle sticks out!
Thanks
Awesome, informative videos. I appreciate that you're not high-speed, shooting range style. But field op and movement. People often forget that the world isnt like a shooting range.
thanks brother.
Thanks brother keep them coming and stay safe
Thanks for watching.

First of all thank you for your service and also for sharing all this knowledge in such a no nonsense manner. I'd love to see a cold wet dogshit weather gear video. Tempurate winter conditions with rain etc. Cold and miserable. Thanks again!
Thats a thought for the future, thanks.
This video really helped me to give a period of instruction to my junior marines. thank you and SEMPER FI!!!!!!!
Great video as always! Being active duty Army I knew all of these, but it's definitely great to have a refresher. Many thanks!
Don't forget to soak your Fatigues/BDU/ACU/Combat Clothes in permethrin, it's"tiger repellent" too.
Spray down in deed, stuffs a life saver.
Absolutely great information, thanks for passing on your knowledge.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks greetings from Chile
Best Aussie soldier ever
Hey man I love your videos and I’ve been doing the stuff that you told and it works thank you
Greatly informative video. Thanks!
You can wrap boot bands all around your Kevlar cover and use that to stuff veg, works well.
I've never tried that because I've always used a helmet band, but I'm sure that would work. Thanks for sharing.
Brent0331 There is a new interest in going back to the basic with camouflage and field craft at The Basic School, they teach the boot bands on Kevlar as well as several other techniques for camouflage and fieldcraft now. Semper Fi.
You are my favorite youtuber. You probably are a good hunter/sniper
Thanks.
Thank you for making these videos
Thanks for watching
Charcoal can just sit in the pores, honestly should be mixed into a green face paint so it doesnt sweat or rub off as easy.
hell yeah brother, subscribed!
Good video Brent. I just decided to sub to your channel based on this video.
Hi Brent. Thank you for an informative and entertaining video. Stays safe in these troubled times. ATB. Nigel
Thanks, you too!
Another great video. Thank you sir!
Thanks brother.
Brent this absolutely great subject and superb video !! Than you very much. God bless you.
Glad you enjoyed it
Brilliant channel Brent just wish I found you a few years back while I was in the Army 🤣 ahh... The good old days Brother 👍
Good educative military videos, keep it up
very nice video Brent !!!
Use a mixture of face mask and face paint. let your nose or breathing holes unobstructed and apply face paint on exposed portions. limits use of face paint and negates the downsides of face mask.
Thanks Brent, another very good lesson learned today.
Excellent video!!!!
Excellent video Brent. Ivarr Bergmann also has some great tips and tricks on camo.
Thanks brother, yup Ivarr is a good dude.
Great content! As usual.
Much appreciated!
You are my new favorite channel my friend liked and subbed

Thanks
Thanks for sharing the knowledge brother, always good info on your channel
Appreciate it brother, thanks for watching.
Amazing content! Rah!
Thanks brother S/F
I didnt see a section on littering? thats probably the No. 1 reason an enemy can easily track a squad, follow their crap they leave behind.....
Littering is just plain rude anywhere.
Pissing
Thanks Brent, this was a really useful piece.
Thanks for watching.
Good stuff, man.
These videos are excellent man, for real.
Thanks man.
Excellent vid!
In Singapore we call it Individual field craft
This is exactly what a vet buddy of mine taught me, I was never in the military but always liked the every branch of service. Me and this vet buddy of mine did all sorts of things from map reading, orienteering, firearm drills, we'd even go on what he called death marches packing huge rucks, sweating our balls off heading to our rally point, then head to our simulated objective. Most of these "OPs" where generally consisting of large amounts of booze and camping, one time our point even got skunk sprayed while maneuvering a weedy ditch! Sounds super dweeby but small towns get boring!
It's not dweeby - those are very useful skills!
Ayyyy... here we go gents. Sit -kneel- bend.
Fantastic video!
Thank you very much!
What are we watching at 1:19? I'm assuming this is MILES gear training, but what unit issues their men thermal optics?
Good training, hooah.
damn. this is better than the old 7-1
Thanks.
Another based video. Thanks King!
You bet
Outstanding video, happy 4th bro
Damn Outstanding Sir!
Thanks
Hey Brent... you may have done this before however, I haven't seen it. Can you do one on urban camos??? Considering most people live in a urban city type environment I though it would be a cool episode... Who better than the master of camo to do it !! thanks.
Great information. What would you do to survive in a winter situation?
Note at 8:55- I feel like this is a good time to talk about radios. Even if it is something simple like a Baofeng, Kenwood or Walkie Talkie
perfect
Dude have a look to our thermaal camouflage
What camo is this abs where can I find it? It’s super cool.
Hey Brent. Big fan of your channel. Could you do a video on your thoughts on body armor, situations where you believe it should be used, and when you believe it is more appropriate to wear a chest rig instead?
Thanks for watching. I actually talk about that in my older Individual patrolling considerations video.
Brent0331 I’ll take a look at it. Thanks for the reply.
Awesome video thanks
No problem 👍
All of these techniques and practices equally apply to deer hunting (Except night vision)...especially when the deer are under heavy hunting pressure for 2-3 months, like we have down South !
It's all about dodging/out-smarting the senses of your prey...Stalk and Ambush.
Hello super video hi from Czech Republic👍.
Thank you very much!
Same reason food taste better when camping, picnics, etc. MRE's, not so much.
@@ProbablyTooLoud and food looks like something straight out of food wars.
Great information
Glad you liked it
Awesome stuff.
Thanks
