- In this video we have one of my favourite new ships. It is actually reffered to as the Enterprise F. I prefer to call it the Borg Hunter! We'll test it against the Borg and then The Inquiry Class.
That ship is a TRUE BEAST! The Klingons would want it for themselves and the Romulans would think twice about attacking the Federation.
I'd say the smaller nacelle pair would go good for a multi vector ship.
Inquiry class be like: Nahh bro I think im Fighting the wrong Enemies 💀
In a parallel universe, Starfleet engineered this ship after the Borg gained a tactical advantage after they assimilated the fish in the ready room of the USS Enterprise E.

Some of these modifications may have come from the alternative 25th century where Admiral Janeway originally came from to meet her earlier version on the Voyager. Ablative armour matrix might have played a part in it.

I dunno if I like it being the fact it looks too similar to the Enterprise-E. I think if it had a completely new ship design that would be a different story. I mean it's an ok design but not quite a fan of it. I agree I think the green on the sides of the engines indicated it has Borg tech integrated with it. Just like how the Delta Flyer had Borg tech.
The fight against the Borg spheres and Malon freighters was pretty awesome. It's cool you took out a Borg sphere when the first Malon freighter blewed up. I said, "Damn!" when you took out the Inquiry class as fast as you did.
Now we just need to see how the ships defensive capabilities are against a coffee deprived Janeway and some transphasic torpedoes.

Fairly certain those are shutlle bays up front, since it seems to be removed from the aft of the saucer.
That ship is a meat cleaver against its opponent. I never expected it to do so well😮.
This looks like one of those cursed ships they made to be Wolf 359 wreckage by kitbashing whatever they had laying around

There IS an actual mod called Borg Hunter for both Federation and Klingon, with the Federation version being a very souped up Galaxy Class

Someone needs to design a Sovereign class with 2 Defiant class ships integrated into the Sovereign class... plus at least 2 squadrons of fighters Ala BSG .... IMO you have the fighter power of 3 starships and fighters of a Aircraft Carrier.....
This would be cooler if the nacelles were longer and same size and folded in and out like an X-Wing

I think the USS Vengeance might give this 'new' ship a run for it's money.
If I recall, the Vengeance/ Valor Mods run in RE v1.2
This defeats the purpose of the sovereign class. The design team made it so cause they didn't want any weak points in the design from the saucer to the nacelles. Which these nacelles ar further apart & also have more of them. Which has been explained the only purpose for more is maneuvering @ warp & having an extra if any fail. And the front is a docking bay which does turn this ship into more of a carrier. Cause the sovereign was equipped with 24 fighters. So this ship could probably hold far more.
That ship would be way too OP in Star trek Online.

Just curious, you can only use 1 phaser strip at a time while fighting?
I had the same question after seeing all the available phasers. Federation "war" ships need some sort of pulse phaser similar to the Defiant.

Yes, in bridge commander remastered you are limited to one phaser blast at time. However kobayashimaru is different.

I imagined better than this terrible design. How about a ship that's really two ships into one. Why have 4 warp nacelles for just one ship?
I could imagine the two larger nacelles are used for a stable warp bubble generation, while the smaller two are used for warp field modulation and manipulation, allowing them to shape the field so that the ship better cuts through subspace without leaving a massive subspace wake
